The map was densely marked with routes targeting nurous areas in Hua Country and Southeast Asia, clearly indicating that the entirety of East Asia and Southeast Asia were their trafficking targets.

The cri boss paced back and forth in front of the map, tapping his finger on certain key nodes, with a greedy and cunning glint in his eyes as he planned the next move.

Beyond that, the camp was surrounded by multiple layers of vigilance, utilizing the natural terrain to set traps and concealed observation posts.

The criminals patrolled in shifts, ard with modern weapons, constantly on guard against any possible intrusion.

In such a secluded environnt, they had seed to establish a small, illegal empire.

The forest was incredibly silent at the mont, with only the distant sound of waves gently lapping at the shore and the occasional calls of wild animals, adding an eerie touch to the quietude.

Yet beneath this seemingly tranquil surface was their busy and secretive activity—manufacturing drugs, packing, planning transportation routes—all being carried out silently in an attempt to evade the radar of international anti-drug organizations.

They were like ghosts in the forest, using the complex terrain to isolate themselves from the outside world, quietly extending their sinister tentacles far and wide.

And observing all this from a distance was Chen Yun.

He couldn’t help but feel sowhat emotional.

Both choosing to live in isolation, in remote corners.

Chen Yun did it to experience more unseen scenery, to traverse every corner of the world.

While these fellows simply hid away, fearing their deeds would be discovered by the outside world.

Though seemingly similar in their solitary state, they were actually worlds apart.

This reminded Chen Yun of a famous saying,

"He who lives in isolation is either a beast or a deity!"

At this mont, the drug traffickers and manufacturers were beasts, fierce and devoid of humanity.

Chen Yun, on the other hand, was the deity, an existence suprely above all, not on the sa level at all.

Now, the beast had t the deity.

The beast was completely unaware.

The deity approached slowly with an expressionless face.

...

In the dense tropical primitive forest, sunlight dappled through layers of canopies, creating a labyrinth of light and shadow.

Here, the strength of nature was displayed in all its glory; massive trees shot up from the ground, vines entwined, all sorts of exotic flowers and plants competed to grow, the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth and vegetation, and occasionally, the low growls of wild animals or the crisp calls of birds could be heard in the distance—everything was brimming with life and full of the unknown.

In this seemingly serene sea of green, an unknown outpost lay hidden among the tall tree trunks. The outpost, ingeniously camouflaged with branches and leaves, rged nearly perfectly with the surrounding environnt, making it difficult to detect unless deliberately searched for.

In a hidden corner of the outpost, an experienced sniper lay in wait, his skin painted with camo, his clothes blending in with the surrounding foliage, as if integrated with nature itself.

Passing through the jungle, ignoring the many camouflaged traps and pitfall-type snares, Chen Yun quickly made his presence known within the sightline of the outpost manned by these people.

His approach didn’t seem to cause any ripples.

Chen Yun perceived that the sniper held a precision sniper rifle, his gaze intent and calm through the high-powered scope as he scanned the pathways between the trees below. His breathing was steady and deep, each heartbeat seemingly synchronized with the rhythm of the forest.

The sniper in the outpost observed him for a while through the scope, then nodded as if confirming sothing.

Then, speaking briefly into his walkie-talkie beside him, the sniper promptly aid the rifle at the approaching Chen Yun.

Apparently, to approach this area, one needed to have specific attire or movents; otherwise, they would be considered a passerby who could be freely shot.

After confirming Chen Yun as a passerby,

The sniper didn’t hesitate to take aim, decisively pulling the trigger, not wanting to let Chen Yun co any closer to this place.

In that mont, ti seed to freeze.

The bullet tore through the air, emitting a low whistle as it flew with unerring accuracy towards Chen Yun.

Chen Yun, who had already noticed everything, sidestepped without expression, narrowly avoiding the incoming sniper bullet in an instant.

The speed of a sniper rifle bullet varies greatly depending on the type of firearm, bullet size, and amount of propellant used, but generally, the muzzle velocity can reach 700 to 1000 ters per second.

That was several tis the speed of sound.

And certainly beyond Chen Yun’s speed.

Yet he still managed to dodge with ease.

Because to him, every movent of the sniper was transparent.

Although he was not as fast as the bullet.

He was much faster than the sniper aiming and pulling the trigger, having anticipated the sniper’s actions, he made an evasive maneuver in an instant.

So, the bullet missed him by a whisker.

This scene, of course, made the sniper in the outpost widen his eyes in disbelief.

In the face of a sniper, no amount of serpentine evasion generally made any difference.

Moreover, the person he targeted not far away shouldn’t have known he was about to be assassinated.

Under such circumstances, he should not have missed.

Or it should be said, it was absolutely impossible for him to miss!

Thinking this, the sniper couldn’t help but feel confused.

But when he saw the strange man looking toward him after dodging the bullet, fear unlike any he had felt before flitted through the sniper’s heart.
