Zheng Yuliang spoke incessantly,

worried that Chen Yun might dismiss the idea of renting a house he just brought up.

Evidently, to lighten the load for his father who worked away from ho, Zheng Yuliang put a lot of effort into preparing for this.

Just like the detailed introduction he conscientiously wrote on the A4 paper.

"Okay, it’s getting late, let’s go check it out now," Chen Yun nodded and said.

It was already past six in the evening.

The Sun had quietly slipped toward the horizon, no longer as dazzling as during the day, but had transford into a massive orange-red disc, suspended in the sky, casting a magnificent golden-red over the sea.

At these words, Zheng Yuliang excitedly ran toward a certain direction in the village,

with Chen Yun leisurely following behind.

Soon,

the two stopped in front of a house.

It was neither excessively luxurious nor revealed any semblance of poverty, perfectly blending into the quiet and harmonic atmosphere of the fishing village. The house was made of light gray stones, with faint marks of ti on its surface, yet carefully maintained clean and neat by the owner, displaying a sense of stability and detachnt gained over the years.

The roof was covered in blue-gray tiles, neatly lined up, with the occasional tufts of resilient grass poking out from between them, adding a touch of vitality to the tranquility. The door and window fras were painted in a warm, wooden hue, and behind the gently swaying white curtains, it seed like the simple everyday monts were hidden.

Chen Yun followed him inside to take a look.

The interior decoration was still quite modern, not like the ancient style of the fishing village on the outside.

There were two bedrooms, a kitchen, and one bathroom, with a small living room. On the second floor, there was a small attic filled with various items.

Overall, the place wasn’t luxurious, but it was certainly clean and tidy.

Standing by the window of the attic, looking toward the vaguely visible sea in the distance, Chen Yun said, "Let’s settle here. We should sign the contract right away."

Upon hearing this, Zheng Yuliang imdiately smiled and hastily handed over the rental contract drafted with the help of a community service center worker.

After briefly reviewing it, Chen Yun signed his full na.

While handing the contract back to Zheng Yuliang, he couldn’t help but curiously ask, "Why are there only a few small wooden boats at the port in the distance? Has your fishing village given up fisheries for tourism?"

Zheng Yuliang took the contract back, following Chen Yun’s gaze from the window of the attic.

Looking at the sea shimring in the sunset, with only a few small wooden boats docked, Zheng Yuliang explained, "It’s not that. It’s mainly because there’s going to be a typhoon in the next couple of days, and all the fishing boats in operation must return to the harbors or evacuate to designated safe areas to avoid being hit directly by the typhoon."

"If the waves get too big at the ti, officials will also co to notify the villagers here to evacuate for a while. You picked not the best ti to visit."

Hearing Zheng Yuliang’s explanation,

Chen Yun suddenly nodded.

The Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Marine Fishery Departnt, among others, will closely monitor the typhoon, issuing alerts based on its path and strength.

Fishing boats would evacuate early to major ports or designated places to avoid the typhoon.

In case they assess that the typhoon would pose a threat to a specific area, they often require residents in coastal areas, especially those in fishing villages and fishern working at sea, to evacuate to safe locations in a tily manner.

This was, indeed, quite normal.

"You shouldn’t wander outside for the next couple of days, since a typhoon might land. Stay for a couple more days before going out to explore."

"I will take you around then," Zheng Yuliang earnestly instructed.

And Chen Yun simply nodded at his words without saying much more.

Not wander around?

Impossible.

Exercising in typhoon weather... wouldn’t it be thrilling?
