Yesterday was fun. Too fun, maybe.

Now I'm awfully tired.

Sharing a bed with soone—especially a dragon queen—is sothing I still haven't adjusted to.

I can't even move much while sleeping... if I accidentally touch her, I don't know if I'll wake up or explode.

Yaaaawn.

Alright. Let's make breakfast. They're both sleeping so peacefully... it's better to let them rest.

Ding-dong.

Huh? Who's at the door this early?

I opened it, rubbing my eyes—and froze.

It was Fiona.

My classmate. My longti crush.

She stood there holding a little basket, her cheeks flushed pink, her fingers twisting the handle nervously.

"U-Um, hey Yuuta... I just... I wanted to give you this... It's for Easter... I made them myself."

She shoved the basket into my hands like it was radioactive.

I turned red instantly.

A whole basket full of handmade chocolate eggs. From Fiona. To .

It should've been a sweet mont.

But then I felt it.

That spine-chilling aura.

I slowly turned my head—

From the bedroom hallway, peeking around the wall like a predator, were two figures:

Erza, the dragon queen.

And Elena, Our tiny daughter.

Both staring.

Unblinking.

Elena broke into a run.

"Papa! What's that? What are those shiny things?"

Before I could answer—

Fiona saw them.

Saw her.

Saw Erza's glowing voliet eyes.

And she ran like she saw a ghost.

I turned around—

Only to et Erza's glare.

She walked toward slowly, cracking her knuckles.

"My dear... lovely husband," she said, sweetly venomous, "What exactly was that just now?"

"I-it was nothing, my beautiful wife! She just gave so chocola—"

BAM.

Her fist landed on my head.

"How dare you cheat on with a human girl in front of our child!"

"W-Wait! Listen, Erza, it's not what it looks li—"

BOOM.

Another punch.

From next door, Ms. Kano peeked out of her door and gasped.

"Oh my... that poor boy again..."

--

Few movents later..

I was on my knees, holding my face like a tragic hero. My cheek was swelling—bright red and throbbing—because that Fucking lizard, had slapped .

Hard.

Again.

"For the last ti," I groaned dramatically, "it's a human tradition to celebrate Easter with soone special! Not an act of betrayal!"

She didn't answer. Instead, her royal glare was locked onto the shiny chocolate egg sitting on the table like it owed her money.

"Hm..." Erza narrowed her eyes. "Interesting. Weird. But... it looks decent. We can eat this, right?"

"Yes," I said, still cradling my wounded dignity. "It's chocolate. Just eat it."

She picked it up like it was a sacred artifact, peeled the shiny wrapping with way too much caution, and took a small, suspicious bite.

Then it happened.

Boom.

Her whole body relaxed. Her eyes widened. Her soul left her body for a brief chocolatey mont of peace.

"I've had chocolate in my kingdom," she whispered, hand over her mouth as she bent slightly,

"but this... this is sothing else. This is... so tasty."

From across the room, our daughter Elena popped her head out like a curious kitten.

"Mama! That's so delicious-yummy! Papa's friend knows how to make yummy chocolate!"

And just like that, the foodasm turned into chaos.

Erza froze. Her eye twitched. Rage slowly bubbled up in her chest.

Erza's smile twitched. And not in the good way. She muttered under her breath like a volcano rumbling before eruption.

"That human girl... black hair... trying to seduce my Mortal with sweets, huh..."

There it was. The classic Erza rage. Calm on the outside, but burning on the inside.

After the foodgasm mont with the chocolate, Erza suddenly stood up.

I blinked. "Wait. What're you—"

Before I could finish, she grabbed by the collar like a sack of trash and yeeted out of my own apartnt. My own damn apartnt.

"Oh co on—WHOA!"

Elena got caught in the crossfire too. One second she was munching on chocolate, the next she was airborne beside .

We both landed in the hallway with a thud.

Elena sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Mama... why?"

"Yeah, why?" I added, already knocking on the door. "This is my ho!"

The door opened just a crack. Erza's golden eyes glared through the gap like a final boss.

I raised my hands in surrender. "I an our ho. Our majestic royal love nest. Haha... heh."

She narrowed her eyes, then muttered, "I have sothing private to do. Go take a walk. Or fly into a volcano, whatever."

"Wait, wha—"

"And don't you dare try to peek," she snapped, voice dropping into death-threat territory.

Her hand suddenly *morphed into a dragon claw,* sharp and glowing with magic.

"I swear, if you even think about peeking..." She raised the claw. "I will rip your head off* and use it as a flowerpot."

"...Okay Queen," I said, hugging Elena tightly.

And with that, we flew away like two exiled pigeons, leaving the Drama Queen to her mysterious "private thing."

....

Erza's POV

How ridiculous.

A simple chocolate egg... and he looked that pleased?

I narrowed my eyes at the half-eaten egg sitting on the table, still wrapped in that annoyingly shiny foil.

That human girl gave it to him, doesn't she knew I am his wife, I did tell infront of Class though.

And now she's sending my husband gifts?

Tch.

Yuuta is a fool. He doesn't think with logic. He thinks with taste buds and nostalgia. It's laughable. Pitiful. Typical.

...But still.

If chocolate is all it takes to make him smile like that—that warm, rare, stupid smile—then fine.

I'll make one.

A better one.

One that will erase the mory of that disgusting human girl chocolate forever.

Good thing I figured out how to use this "internet."

Let's see... "how to make a chocolate egg that will ruin all other chocolate forever."

I'll make him sothing so unforgettable, he won't dare look at anyone else again.

IN GARDEN (Yuuta and Elena).

Elena and I sat on the garden bench like two refugees kicked out of their own castle.

She looked up at with those big innocent eyes. "Papa, why was Mama angry?"

I leaned back, staring at the sky like it had answers. "Elena... how would I know? I never understand girls, to be honest."

(Inner )

When I tried to confess to Fiona back in college, she rejected every single ti. But now that I'm married, suddenly she's jealous?

And now Erza's acting jealous because Fiona gave one piece of chocolate?

What's going on in girls' minds?

God knows. I don't. I gave up years ago.

I sighed deeply, like an old man who's seen too much.

Elena tugged my sleeve. "Papa, what is that?"

I followed her gaze. "Oh, that? That's a seesaw."

Her eyes sparkled. "Ohh! Cool!"

"Wanna play?" I asked.

She nodded so fast I thought her head might spin off.

"Sure, my princess. We've got nothing to do anyway—it's Sunday."

"YAAAY! Papa is the best!"

She ran to the seesaw like she was on a mission from heaven.

...Honestly, at least she gets .

In Apartnt

Erza's POV

"How is this happening again?!"

The chocolate was a ruined ss once more.

Fifth ti, I can't even count how many attempts I've made.

Why does it keep lting like this? I followed the recipe, I swear I did!

"Don't you dare taste this, you stupid lump of brown ss," I muttered, glaring at the burnt goo.

Ding dong.

Of course, just as I'm about to throw in the towel, the doorbell rings. Perfect timing, as usual.

I wiped my hands on the apron and opened the door, trying to look calm, but I could feel my irritation bubbling up.

Standing there was Miss Kano, my neighbor—round, a little too cheerful, and always looking like she had the best gossip.

She squinted at with a friendly grin. "Hello Miss Kounari, Looks like you're in a bit of trouble. Need so help?"

I sighed, crossing my arms, and let out a sharp exhale.

"No, I don't need help. Even if I did, why would you help ?"

Her eyes dropped to my chocolate-covered apron, and she smiled even more.

"I know what Yuuta's favorite chocolate is. If you're having trouble, I could lend a hand... though it looks like you've got it all under control, huh?"

She took a step back, clearly about to leave.

I scowled. "Wait, hold on a second, old hag."

She chuckled, not even looking back as she slowly started to turn. "Did you say sothing? I'm just heading out then."

Frustration swelled up in . I gritted my teeth, trying to stay composed, but I couldn't ignore how much I needed help.

I sighed and, despite my pride, gave in. "Fine, Miss Kano. Please, just help make the chocolate."

She stopped in her tracks and grinned. "Now that's more like it. Alright, let's get to work. No more burning chocolate for you."

I don't want Miss Kano help But if I don't win this chocolate war... soone else might win him.

To be continue...
