“Tch. Never thought I’d see so many big nas in one damn day.”

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. Even she hadn’t expected such a ss to land on her lap today.

“The Raikage, that idiot Jiraiya... and even Orochimaru, of all people. You guys sure know how to make things interesting. But let ask: what makes you all so sure I’d go with any of you?”

“Because whether you agree or not—I’ll make you. Even if it takes force!”

The Fourth Raikage’s tone was ice cold.

His words made Kakashi tense up imdiately, while Tsunade arched a brow.

“Force? Oh, that’s cute. Do you even know who you’re talking to?”

“Do I?”

The Fourth Raikage’s gaze shifted. He rolled his neck—and in the very next instant, he moved.

“Then forgive !”

He had no intention of wasting ti. Even he hadn’t expected to run into so much trouble just trying to find Tsunade.

Outside, the explosions and rumbling hadn’t stopped—Jiraiya and Orochimaru were clearly already going at it.

Dragging this out any longer would be stupid.

Just grab Tsunade and go!

“Look out!”

Kakashi’s eyes widened, and he blinked forward to intercept.

Tsunade’s brow furrowed—and in a flash, her chakra surged to life.

[Buzz—]

But just as neither of them expected—

In that very instant, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them, and a burst of violet lightning exploded forth!

[BOOM—!]

With a deafening crash, the entire tavern collapsed on the spot. A thick cloud of smoke and dust spread in all directions!

[Whoosh—!]

Monts later, several figures darted out from the smoke. The Fourth Raikage stood among them, looking curiously at the boy before him.

“Violet lightning, huh? That’s rare... but the intensity seems pretty high.”

As the Raikage, his sensitivity to Lightning Release was second to none. He could tell right away—this was no ordinary lightning.

And this kid had managed to form a defense out of that violet lightning and actually blocked him.

Even if his strike had been a bit rushed, he was still confident in his power.

“Konoha’s out of people? They’re sending a brat like you to stop ?”

Though inwardly cautious, the Fourth Raikage still maintained the pride of a Kage.

“Tell Kakashi to co at himself. You’re nowhere near ready.”

“Or maybe... Kakashi-sensei thinks I’m more than enough to take you on.”

Before the words had even finished leaving his mouth, Kitagawa Gen launched forward without a single wasted word—charging head-on!

The Fourth Raikage was a rare master of Lightning Release, and he had even crossed fists with Namikaze Minato.

A chance to fight soone like that? Kitagawa Gen wasn’t going to let it slip by.

Besides—whether he went all in or pulled back, no one could match his escape speed right now anyway.

“Hmph! Then don’t bla for what happens next.”

The Raikage let out a low snort. As he watched Kitagawa Gen charge at him, a vivid blue chakra burst from his body—and he moved!

[BANG—!]

In an instant, blue and violet flashes collided, both cloaked in chakra.

A deep shockwave rang out as their bodies slamd into each other, sending a visible ripple tearing through the air!

[CRACK—!]

In a single mont, countless fractures split through the nearby buildings. So of them even collapsed outright under the pressure.

Beneath their feet, the ground cracked open from the collision of chakra. Veins of destruction spiderwebbed outward in all directions.

“Not bad, kid…”

The Fourth Raikage narrowed his eyes. He had to admit—Kitagawa Gen was anything but ordinary.

That violet lightning, his speed, his strength—none of it could be ignored.

And sohow, that only made the Raikage even more excited.

“Too bad for you, though... a kid this interesting just had to run into .”

As he spoke, the chakra surging around him grew even more intense.

The blue lightning now fully engulfed his body, and his presence beca overwhelming.

“Then I won’t hold back!”

“Mm. I was about to say the sa thing.”

Kitagawa Gen gave a slight nod. The air around him shifted.

A streak of crimson shadow appeared around his eyes—and in that mont, his irises turned completely white.

The sight gave the Fourth Raikage pause, even if only for a second.

What was that? Those eyes—this chakra—what the hell was going on?

Before he could piece it together, Kitagawa Gen’s voice rang out again: “Then I won’t hold back either!”

...

[BOOM—]

[BOOM—]

[BOOM—]

The piercing explosions echoed relentlessly. The once bustling Sugi Village had been completely evacuated.

The entire town now resembled a battlefield, and just outside its borders, countless people holding torches were gazing in this direction.

“Wha—what’s going on…?”

Shizune slowly opened her eyes, still cradling Tonton in her arms, confused and dazed. She never handled alcohol well to begin with, and after just a few small drinks, she had already passed out.

If not for the deafening noise, she probably wouldn’t have sobered up this quickly.

But as she turned to look around, she was startled to realize she was no longer inside the tavern—and in the distance, she could see people fighting!

The sight jolted her awake, especially when she noticed Tsunade standing nearby with a grave expression, and—

“Kakashi-senpai?! What are you doing here?”

“Quiet. Now’s not the ti for that.”

Tsunade cut her off in a low voice and turned toward Kakashi.

“That brat—what’s going on with him?”

Although everything had happened in a flash, she had seen it clearly. Kitagawa Gen had suddenly leapt in front of them—and in the next instant, a surge of purple lightning had erupted from his body!

That lightning had ford a shield-like barrier, instantly intercepting the Fourth Raikage’s attack.

“That kind of Lightning Release…”

“That’s a technique Gen developed himself.”

Kakashi scratched the back of his head, watching Kitagawa Gen clash fiercely with the Fourth Raikage in the distance. He could only sigh and lower his voice.

“Gen’s a genius. His natural talent surpasses even that of the Fourth Hokage—that’s sothing both Jiraiya-sama and the Hokage himself have acknowledged.”

“Tch, talent alone doesn’t an much. But I can tell—you trust him, don’t you?”

Tsunade frowned slightly at Kakashi. She hesitated for a mont, then asked quietly: “What exactly is your reason for coming to see ? And are you seriously not going to help that brat?”

You have no idea just how absurd that brat really is…

Kakashi couldn’t help but complain inwardly. The kid already had mastery over Purple Lightning and the Flying Thunder God Technique—just dealing with that alone was enough of a headache.

And now, he had even learned Sage Mode. It wasn’t even a matter of whether he could win—if that kid decided to flee, there were probably very few who could actually stop him!

Still, Kakashi was prepared to step in at any mont. While trying to lock onto the Fourth Raikage with his Sharingan, he spoke in a low tone: “Tsunade-sama, I’ll back him up over there when needed. But we ca to you with a very specific purpose—sothing serious may be about to happen to the village.”

“Sothing serious?”

“That’s right. It involves Orochimaru… and several other complications. For example—Wood Release.”

...

While Kakashi and Tsunade were discussing the purpose of their visit, the battle between Kitagawa Gen and the Fourth Raikage grew more and more intense.

“This damn brat…”

The Fourth Raikage’s expression turned grim—he was realizing that this kid in front of him was far more troubleso than he had expected.

He hadn’t wanted to go all out—after all, he still needed Tsunade’s cooperation. But this brat… was proving to be a serious headache.

“You’re not quite as fast as I imagined.”

Kitagawa Gen had a rough sense of the Raikage’s intentions. With a swift sidestep, he evaded the incoming punch and casually pulled out several kunai, tossing them toward his opponent.

At the sa ti, he ford a one-handed seal—and in the very next instant, a massive fire dragon erupted from his mouth!

“One-handed seal? And the jutsu’s that stable and powerful?!”

The Fourth Raikage dodged the kunai with ease, but when he saw the roaring fire dragon bearing down on him, he couldn’t help but curse inwardly.

No wonder that purple lightning of his morphs in so many ways—this kid has insane chakra control.

As the thought crossed his mind, a sudden surge of chakra exploded from within him. With a single forceful swing of his arm.

Fierce power surged through his hand, and incredibly, he cleaved the fire dragon clean in two!

But just then, Kitagawa Gen had already closed in silently. His short blade, crackling with violet lightning, was thrust straight at the Raikage’s heart.

Yet, at the very instant the blade was about to strike, the Raikage vanished.

His voice rang out from directly above Gen: “In the shinobi world, the only one faster than … was Namikaze Minato. And he’s already dead!”

His foot ca crashing down toward Kitagawa Gen, wrapped in a storm of terrifying Lightning Release chakra.

[BOOM—]

With a thunderous crash, the ground was smashed into a crater several ters deep. But the Fourth Raikage’s expression didn’t even flinch.

“Earth Clone, huh? Not bad.”

“Not slow yourself,” Gen replied casually, as if reading the Raikage’s mind. In the sa breath, his blade shot forward once more—this ti aiming for the Raikage’s head.

The Fourth Raikage ducked swiftly, chakra erupting from his body even more violently than before.

He launched another powerful punch—but this ti, Kitagawa Gen t it head-on.

[BOOM! BOOM! BOOM—]

In an instant, under the dim night sky, the two figures transford into blurs of light and chakra, clashing at a speed nearly impossible to track with the naked eye.

They moved like ghosts, and with every collision, sharp sonic booms and waves of pressure exploded outward in every direction.

The buildings, courtyard walls, and everything else along the street were reduced to rubble in an instant—within the blink of an eye, the entire block had been devastated.

And yet, the two continued to fight relentlessly, their destructive clash spilling into the surrounding areas.
