Cheng Youran had no idea about his "young man’s" thought process. Her face was beet red as she carried him with difficulty, trudging forward.

In her urgency, Cheng Youran didn’t even have the presence of mind to call him teacher, and blurted out instinctively, "Uncle, Xixi and Ji Yebai are injured, you must hurry and bring a doctor over!"

Ning Xixi blinked innocently, "Of course the face is important! Looks are justice, you know!"
Ji Yebai: "..." That was the first ti he’d seen anyone champion the importance of looks in such a refined way.
"Besides, if you were ugly, I wouldn’t be your childhood friend." Ning Xixi pouted slightly, her dewy eyes gazing at him, "Does your head still feel dizzy? Do you want to lie down for a while?"
Ji Yebai crossed his arms and arrogantly ignored her.

Her thoughts were in such turmoil that it never crossed Ning Xixi’s mind that Ji Yebai could be tricking her.
