Chapter 397 - Adriana Holsy’s Information
Nicholas was shocked. He racked his brains trying to give his opinion so that the master would not be angry.

Alan was silent hearing Nicholas' words. He digested the words that ca out of his assistant's lips. It wasn't long before a triumphant smile spread across Alan's face.
"Yes, you're right, Anne is mine now. But still, I don't like it when a man idolizes her, no one can look at my wife. And you, Nick, call her Mrs.. Clarke. She's not soone you can call Miss anymore, she is already married to , Nick," Alan said coldly as he looked in the rearview mirror.

"Sorry sir, I won't do it again." Nicholas imdiately responded to his master's words quickly, as he realized the mistake he had made by calling Anne as 'Miss' even though Anne was already married to her master.
"It's okay? ... Well, we can quickly go to the office. There's an important item that I want to take," said Alan again.
"Yes, sir."
Nicholas then increased the speed of the car he was driving towards the office, following his master's orders. Even though he was supposed to be on vacation as he just got married, Alan still ca to the office. He had to bring along so important files from his room while he went on his honeymoon with Anne, according to the plan he had prepared. Alan wanted to spend the next week with Anne in Norway. He wanted to take Anne to see the Milky Way galaxy in the Norwegian sky. The Milky Way galaxy would be clearly visible in the Norwegian sky during winter, which was why Alan wanted to take his wife there.
After driving his car for 20 minutes, Nicholas finally arrived at his destination. Without being asked, he imdiately got out of the car and opened the door for his master. The staffs, who were busy with their respective jobs, looked very surprised when they saw their boss ca. Nicholas stopped his steps when a female employee called out to him, while Alan continued to walk towards his office which was still tightly closed.
"What's wrong, Gloria?" Nicholas asked his assistant quietly.
"This morning, Miss Adriana ca to the office. She was angry and made a scene in the lobby. The lady insisted that she wanted to go up, but we managed to stop her..."
"Then what's the problem? Haven't you guys managed to hold her back?" Nicholas was not in the mood to discuss about Adriana Holsy, who was infatuated with Alan.
Nicholas' assistant, Gloria, then handed a brown envelope that Adriana gave to Nicholas.
"Here …"
"It's from Miss Adriana for Mr. Alan," Gloria answered quickly.
"Okay, I accept this. Thanks, Gloria, keep up the good work. Supervise all employees while Mr. Alan is not in the office. Because if one of the employees makes a mistake, then you will get in trouble, Gloria," Nicholas said quietly, reminding Gloria of her duties from Alan.
Gloria's face tensed up again. She was reminded of Alan's threat to her two months ago, where she would be fired if she made one more mistake, and not only that, Alan also said that he would make sure that Gloria would be unable to get any job in Luxembourg, which Gloria was very afraid of.
"I-I understand sir," Gloria replied in a low voice full of fear. Her lips trembled as she spoke.
Nicholas just smiled at his frightened assistant. Without another word, Nicholas rushed into the master's room to report the envelope in his hand.
"Bring all these, Nick, I have to keep these files at ho. I don't want that incident that ti to happen again," Alan said loudly when Nicholas entered his room. Currently, Alan was taking out so important files from his safe.
The files were the latest jewelry designs that would be launched by his company in the next six months. Alan had co to the office for the designs to avoid leaking the jewelry designs he had approved. Because a few months ago, his company had experienced an extraordinary commotion after the jewelry designs he was about to publish were already launched by Qjewel, which was a rival to the Clarke family-owned company. Although the traitor who had leaked the jewelry company's designs had been arrested by the police, Alan didn't want to take any risk, because Gloria, the girlfriend of the man who betrayed him, still worked at the company and remained as Nicholas' personal assistant. Therefore, Alan didn't want to make the sa mistake again. What's more, the jewelry launch, which would take place in the next few months, had already cost a lot of money to prepare, so Alan didn't want to fail a second ti.
Nicholas finally did what Alan told him to do. Without any word, Nicholas began to put the important files one by one into the empty suitcase he had brought with him. Alan himself was still standing in front of his safe which was still open. Currently, there were only a few pieces of gold bullions inside the safe which he had kept in his office in case of an ergency and a few contract docunts. After making sure that all of his important belongings had been brought ho, Alan then closed his personal safe again. Even though the chanic who installed the new safe said that no one would be able to break into the safe again like his old safe, Alan still didn't want to leave his important files in the office. He had to keep the docunt at his grandfather's residence. Under Luis' supervision, no one could break into Clarke's residence, because the security system that Luis created was very secure.
"I've managed to secure everything, sir." Nicholas reported that he had managed to keep all the important company docunts in the suitcase.
"Good! Then let's...wait... what's that envelope? I don't think I took it out of my safe earlier," said Alan curiously at the foreign envelope on the table.
"Oh right sir, this is from Gloria. This morning Miss Adriana Holsy ca and made a ss. She insisted on going up to this office and see you. But because the security officers downstairs managed to block her, Miss Adriana finally left this docunt to the officers, which was then handed over to Gloria," Nicholas answered quickly, trying to explain the origin of the envelope the master asked.

Alan's eyes widened when he saw the contents of the envelope that Adriana gave.
"What's wrong, sir? Why are you…oh my God!!!"
Nicholas was surprised when Alan showed him the contents of the envelope that Adriana Holsy had given him.
