We finally returned to the castle, having managed to avoid Victor’s argunt.
I felt as if I had been here for a long ti, even though I had only been here for a short ti. My familiarity with this place scared .
After greeting Captain Marius, my grandfathers, and Victor, I headed back to the hut.
Finally, the expedition was over. I was exhausted.
I turned lightly, trying to relax the muscles in my shoulders.

Rai jumped on happily as soon as he saw . I gently stroke his black, soft and beautiful fur. He looked at with excited eyes.

I laid down on the ground with my hands stretched wide upwards. Rai rubs his face against mine.
It was warm and comfortable… I feel at ease. I let out a big yawn.
“I still have so things to do… but for today, I’m done…”
Unable to resist the urge to sleep, I drift off to sleep.
The morning sun poured in rcilessly through the small window and woke up.
It was dazzling.
I squint as I rouse myself. Normally, I would be able to get up and move right away, but my body felt heavy, as if the fatigue from the expedition had not yet worn off.
Besides, sleeping on the floor didn’t help recover that much after all.
“Good morning, Rai.”
I stroked Rai, who was sleeping peacefully next to . He had such wonderful fur…. It was like a luxurious cushion.
The door of the hut was opened with a bang.
At the sa ti, the fragile door was broken.
“How long are you going to sleep?”
With the sunlight in the background, Victor stood in a regal position.
Soone please tell it was a dream. I didn’t want to be bothered by this person on a dreary morning.
“…this must be a dream.”
I muttered quietly and tried to get into a sleeping position again.
“It’s not a dream. You’ve had enough rest. Besides, you’re leaving this shack today.”
“Are you still talking about that? I don’t want to sleep with the prince. I an, please fix that door.”
Victor kicked the door open, making it look so miserable.
“You’re really strange, aren’t you? Normally, seeing would make anyone happy enough to cry. And you’d have a much easier ti sleeping in my room than in this shack.”
Victor looked at with a really strange expression on his face.
“I’m sorry to say that I’m not normal. And I find this cabin more appealing than the prince’s room.”
“I don’t get it… Well, it doesn’t matter what you say anymore. I let you sleep in this hut yesterday. That’s enough.”
…I wondered how this could have happened.
I sighed as I looked at Victor, who was full of confidence.
I would do everything in my power to keep this out of Duke-sama’s ears….
