Mu Mingtang had long thought about who the child would look like. After all, they only found out the gender of the baby once it was born. Even so, all the servants said that the child looked like Xie Xuanchen.
When Xie Changan was born, he was stronger than the average newborn. On the day of his third bath, many people ca to watch the ceremony, including several ladies from the Xu family. If Xie Changan was sleeping, he could watch over the infant silently for a long ti.
Both parents were the only childs of their families, so they never had younger siblings to pamper. Now that they have children, everything was so new to them. In the dead of night today, Mu Mingtang sent the wet nurse and servants away before she sat on the couch with the child in her arms with Xie Xuanchen.
Mu Mingtang wore ruby earrings today and this was where they discovered that children like bright colours. When the kid saw the earrings dangling around, he couldn’t help but grab them. When Xie Xuanchen saw it, he imdiately held Xie Changan’s hand and controlled his strength to open the child’s fingers one by one. After Xie Xuanchen freed her ear from Xie Changan’s hands, he imdiately carried the demon away and patted the back of Changan’s hand lightly as the form of a punishnt, “Even I cannot bear to touch her, but you dare to bully your mother?”

“That’s easy,” Xie Xuanchen imdiately stood up and handed the child to the wet nurse outside. When he ca back, he pressed Mu Mingtang firmly onto the chair, “Now that the child is gone, can I touch you now?”
