The leader, Imperial Doctor Wu, was very experienced and well-connected in the Imperial dical Bureau. Though, he was also usually rather complacent. He always thought of himself as sothing more, which prompted his habits of demanding explanations from the higher authorities. For example, after knowing that Prince An had brought soone of unknown origin into the mansion, Imperial Doctor Wu headed straight to the Prince to demand answers.
Imperial Doctor Wu straightened his clothes, imdiately heading for the Yulin Palace in an attempt to speak with Xie Xuanchen. Mu Mingtang and Xie Xuanchen were eating when they vaguely heard a commotion outside.

It was already a blessing that the royal couple hadn’t tried to pick a bone with them, so how daring did the individual have to be to march upon their doors and cause a ruckus like this?
Mu Mingtang didn’t have much to do today, so she simply wanted to see what was going on in the minds of these people. She placed down the dishes, washed her hands in the silver basin beside her and said, “Let him in.”

After Imperial Doctor Wu walked in, he imdiately bowed loudly and said, “This humble one greets Prince An and Princess An.”
Xie Xuanchen didn’t even bother to look at the man from the corners of his eyes, but Mu Mingtang still tried to retain so of the old geezer’s dignity as she said softly, “Rise.”
