Mu Mingtang was furious at Xie Xuanchen’s teasing and was about to say sothing, but her words were cut off by Xie Xuanchen’s next words, “Okay… let’s discuss your birthday now.”
Xie Xuanchen looked at his wife eagerly. “Do you want to celebrate it at ho or go outside? Wherever you want to go, I’ll have people book the venue.”
Despite asking Mu Mingtang for her suggestion on how to spend her birthday, Xie Xuanchen only received a stern gaze from his wife. My Mingtang was still upset, so Xie Xuanchen quickly put on a helpless and naïve appearance and even coughed tirelessly to gain her sympathy and lessen her anger.

“No, I can’t get up because of my headache.” Xie Xuanchen’s forehead rested on Mu Mingtang’s shoulder, and when he spoke, his voice ca out as muffled, “Mingtang, you quickly tell how you want to spend your birthday and help divert my attention from my headache. Otherwise, I won’t be able to get up.”
As Mu Mingtang knew that Xie Xuanchen was acting, she didn’t want to pay much attention to him, but she didn’t push Xie Xuanchen off from her anymore. “No need to do that, there’s no need to get attention from the public for my birthday,” Mu Mingtang gave a silent sigh as she replied.
Xie Xuanchen looked up and blurted out. “How can that be possible?”
Mu Mingtang looked at him indifferently. “Don’t you have a headache?”
Xie Xuanchen said conservatively: “It’s not completely healed. Anyway, what’s wrong with you? Why don’t you want to host your birthday and invite everyone?”
“Nothing much.” Mu Mingtang said, “Although the birthday is considered a special day, I don’t want to spend it with those people and listen to their fake flattery and blessings. They may not be sincere.”
Xie Xuanchen could relate to Mu Mingtang’s feelings and asked, “Then we won’t call others. Let’s just celebrate that day ourselves. What do you want for your birthday?”
Mu Mingtang thought for a while and realised that she lacked nothing now, so she couldn’t think of what she wanted.
“There’s nothing special… But if I must say sothing that I desire, then there is only one thing. I would like to continue brewing birthday wine. My parents helped bury wine since I was a child, and it later beca a routine for our family. Previously, it got interrupted for two years because of the sudden war, but now that it is peaceful once again, I think I can pick up the routine for my parents and continue brewing birthday wine. ”
After Mu Mingtang finished speaking her mind, she sighed with so regret, “It’s a pity that we don’t have begonias plants here. Even if I were to succeed in brewing the wine this year, I wouldn’t be able to bury it under the begonia plant.”
