"My royal highness!"
Mu Mingtang imdiately ran towards Xie Xuanchen, she couldn’t care less about anything else. Xie Xuanchen pressed his brows and seed to be enduring so irresistible pain. Mu Mingtang looked both anxious and flustered: "What’s wrong? Where does it hurt? You were fine just now, why did this suddenly happen? Is it because of the fight?"
Mu Mingtang didn't think that it was considered a fight. She hovered around Xie Xuanchen’s side and watched him suffer in pain but she could do nothing about it. Her tears fell anxiously: "I shouldn't have said those an words that ca from the top of my head, are you okay?"
Xie Xuanchen could hardly hear the sounds around him. There was a rampant madness spreading from within him, which left his five senses a blur, his headache made him feel like his head was splitting in half and this made him just want to imdiately destroy everything around him.
This was all too familiar to him, Xie Xuanchen knew that his manic had kicked in again.
There was no cause, no signs, and no solution.
Mu Mingtang's tears fell, and she also knew that Xie Xuanchen had gone manic again, it was the sa case as last ti. The imperial physician said that the only way was for his body to slowly recover, and that he must not push his body too far. As long as his manic doesn’t kick in, he would be able to recover.
However, when Mu Mingtang thought everything was slowly getting better, the heavens suddenly shattered every bit of hope and almost pushed them into the abyss. Mu Mingtang and Xie Xuanchen made quite the commotion, and soon the maids ca. They were shocked when they saw Xie Xuanchen's eyes that were flashed red, his abnormal movents, and the faintly suppressed craziness in his gaze. The maids imdiately scread: "Oh no, his royal highness is going crazy and killing people again!"
Their words seed to have flipped on a switch, and everyone scread in horror from outside. Xie Xuanchen was triggered by their screams, as if they brought back unpleasant mories, and his emotional state obviously beca much more agitated.
Mu Mingtang was fuming with anger when she heard the screams coming from those outside. Xie Xuanchen kept trying to control himself. He didn't even throw anything. However, even if he was suffering, the people outside didn't even bat an eye towards him and insisted that he had killed soone.
"Shut up!" Mu Mingtang yelled in much frustration. The people who were scampering around were taken aback by her voice. When they turned around, she saw the concubine standing very close to Xie Xuanchen, her dress trailed on the floor and her gaze filled with anger. There were still streaks of tears on her face, but her eyes were bright when she spoke, and her words were strong: "For this whole ti, he has just been standing here, when did any of you see him attacking people? He is just sick, now summon the imperial physician!"
Mu Mingtang was already yelling when she got to the end of her sentence. She yelled with no holds barred. The maids, who were like headless flies, didn't dare to shout any more and ran out in a hurry after being scolded. After driving away the noisy maids, Mu Mingtang wiped away her tears, walked to Xie Xuanchen's side without a hint of hesitation, as if she had never heard about the rumor that Xie Xuanchen would kill rcilessly when he goes manic: "My royal highness, how are you feeling? The imperial physician is almost here, don't be afraid."
Xie Xuanchen didn't expect that one day he would be comforted by a little girl this soft and powerless. Xie Xuanchen was indeed afraid, but he was not afraid of death, he was afraid that he would lose control and hurt Mu Mingtang.
