“Who are you, and why have you trespassed into the Flower Elf’s territory?” a gentle voice called out next to Song Jian’s ear. Turning his head, he saw an Elf the size of a thumb flying beside his ear, looking at him with a curious gaze.
“Hello, beautiful Elf, I’m just a lost traveler who accidentally stumbled upon this place. Please forgive my intrusion. I will leave right now!” Song Jian bowed to the level-one Flower Elf and pretended to be very flustered as he spoke.
“A human traveler?” The Elf didn’t seem afraid of Song Jian and circled around him twice before saying, “You are very brave, this is the Dark Lord’s territory. Don’t continue deeper into the forest; the Dark Lord will kill you!”
“The Dark Lord?” Song Jian’s mouth curled slightly as he replied, “Beautiful Elf, could you tell so information about the nearby area? I’m lost and don’t know which way to go. I just want to go ho!”
“Human, do you want to return to the human castle? You’ve taken the wrong path. You should head in that direction. About a dozen miles away, there’s a human castle, though I rember it has been abandoned for a long ti. So wild beasts have occupied it; your ho should not be there!” the Elf said in confusion.
“Is it that direction, to the human castle?” Song Jian was inwardly overjoyed, but his face showed no such emotion. He followed the direction the Elf pointed to, confirming.
“Yes, that direction. You’ll pass through a river. After crossing that river, you’ll see the abandoned human castle. However, I wouldn’t recomnd you go there. There are frightening beasts…” The Elf seed to recall sothing and her face took on a terrified expression.
“Thank you. A few wild beasts won’t pose any obstacle for . I will kill them and take back that castle!” Song Jian said confidently.
“Are you a human hero?” The Elf’s eyes twinkled with hope as she asked, “Are you preparing to kill the Dark Lord and rescue the Elves imprisoned in the forest? If so, maybe I can offer you so help.”
