Chapter 753: Chapter 753: Player

Seeing the attacking Abyssal Demon Wolves, Song Jian first cast the Evil Seed skill, then began to apply Abyssal Corrosion on them;

A fluctuating green seed phantom appeared on top of the Abyssal Demon Wolf, followed by a rising damage number and a weakening armor condition appeared in its status bar;

Before it could even reach Song Jian, it was hit by three Abyssal Corrosions. The already half-health Abyssal Demon Wolf saw it’s Vitality Points plumt to less than one-third of its total;

Just as it leaped towards Song Jian, the green phantom image of the Evil Seed had already ballooned from the size of a fingernail to that of a fist. After a muffled “thump” sound, the airborne Abyssal Demon Wolf froze mid-air and its attack wavered. It fell from the sky like a stone and crashed on the ground in front of Song Jian.

Song Jian swung his long sword, stabbing it at the head of the Abyssal Demon Wolf. It was just an ordinary thrust, yet it cranked out direct critical damage of over two thousand points.

The Abyssal Demon Wolf let out a mournful howl. Its Vitality Points hit rock bottom, turning it into a corpse. Another Demon Wolf, which had been biting at its heels, looked puzzled when its prey vanished. After standing still for a mont, it turned and ran back towards where it ca from;

Looking down at his sword, Song Jian shook his head slightly. None of the equipnt he had on increased magic damage, and the activated skills from the Book of the Abyss were too few. As an “Abyssal Warlock,” relying solely on these skills to combat monsters was far from enough.

The Book of the Abyss had four skills on the third level, but each skill required nearly a million battle experience points to activate – sothing Song Jian hadn’t been able accomplish yet;

With this in mind, Song Jian summoned the Black Dragon and Gulu the Stone Golem. The two battle pets, both possessing stage one Combat Power, were able to grind monsters in this area without any pressure.

Song Jian’s attack pattern also changed. He first used the skills from the Book of the Abyss to attack the Abyssal Demon Wolves from afar. When they rushed towards him, he would then use his long sword to claim their lives. With the assistance of the Black Dragon and the Stone Golem, it wasn’t long before the Abyssal Demon Wolves collapsed under Song Jian’s feet;

Abandoned buildings and streets were everywhere in Doomsday City. Even if there were nurous monsters, he couldn’t grind them as swiftly as he could in the wilds. Song Jian positioned the Stone Golem and Black Dragon at the front, continually invoking skills from the Book of the Abyss, inflicting swathes of damage with the Ten Thousand Facets Sword Technique.

The monsters from the Abyssal Hell granted high experience points. Song Jian incessantly lured monsters one wave after another. With the aid of the Stone Golem and Black Dragon, Song Jian hadn’t lost any Vitality Points, but hundreds, if not thousands, of Abyssal Demon Wolves were slaughtered along the way, leaving a trail of their carcasses.

The system notification sound rang out. Song Jian glanced at his level and found that he had unknowingly risen to level 37. Initially, activating three skills from the Book of the Abyss had depleted his battle experience. Unexpectedly, his level had increased again in less than half a day. Level progression here was both swift and enjoyable!

Having upgraded the Sword Silk skill to level seven, the Sword Finger skill to level four, the Broken Wing Dance to level five, and the Light Strike to level two, Song Jian still had almost ten skill points remaining;

Looking at the rankings for the Glory Level within the Doomsday City area, he remained in first place. The second place was held by Zeus from the Pantheon, whose level hadn’t budged from thirty-one in quite so ti. It seed the previous blow had been too big. From the looks of it, he had lost his motivation to level up;

The remaining top twenty were all at level thirty. It appeared that there were quite a number of players who loved to rush their levels. In just a few days, so many level thirty players had erged.

The Abyssal Hell was like a leveling sanctuary. Song Jian was sowhat reluctant to leave. However, his primary objective now was to find a larger city. Whether it was for gathering information or completing tasks, it would be much more convenient;

He hadn’t forgotten why he ca to Abyssal Hell. Whether it was for the seven Abyssal Demon Flas or for the Swordsman Immortal profession, he didn’t want to miss out on any;

While Song Jian was continuously grinding monsters, he suddenly saw points of light in the distant wilderness. At the sa ti, he could faintly hear the sound of explosions;

Song Jian’s eyes lit up. That was the sound of sobody casting magic. It seed he had encountered other players;

From the mont they switched professions, the players in the Abyssal Hell were in a different faction from the players in the ga world. They would kill each other on sight. Moreover, killing a player from a different faction does not lead to an increase in sin-value but instead raises honour points;

Therefore, upon seeing players up ahead, Song Jian did not approach imdiately. Instead, he put away both of his battle pets and proceeded alone, slowly advancing;

The light in the Abyssal Hell was originally very dim. If it weren’t for the everywhere-present red crevices along the ground, this place would probably be completely enveloped in eternal darkness.

Using the faint glow emitted from these crevices, players could only see their imdiate environnt within ten ters. Anything beyond that distance would be hazy, unless they possessed so special skills.

The Vertical eye in Song Jian’s forehead was already open, and he could clearly see the several players tens of ters away;

He could see the figures coming into view were completely different from regular ga world players. They had dark skin, with a distinct layer of fine scaly patterns erging. They radiated a strong Abyssal aura. Like countless tentacles, it constantly stretched out before slowly dissipating in the void.

Such appearances were sowhat terrifying but gave off a sense of peculiar individuality;

“They must be players who have switched to Abyssal professions.” Song Jian guessed in his mind: there were currently no players that could enter the Abyssal Hell imdiately upon entering the ga. They would first need to reach level ten in the ga world before they could accept the transition task for an Abyssal profession;

The appearance of these players ant that there should be a city of the Abyssal Hell nearby;

To Song Jian, these players who had switched to Abyssal professions had essentially given up on their human identities. Undoubtedly, at the very least, Abyssal professions were rarer, and far stronger than ordinary professions. But after transitioning to an Abyssal profession, the whole person would beco an Abyssal creature and would unconsciously be corroded by the Abyssal aura.

For these players who had transitioned to Abyssal professions, the brilliant side of their humanity would beco increasingly diluted while their darker side would be amplified. In the end, they would completely succumb to being Abyssal creatures, prioritizing the interests of the Abyss above all;

As Abyssal creatures, their greatest desire was to invade other dinsional worlds. At that ti, there would inevitably be a deadly battle between the players of the Abyssal Hell and the ga world!
