Most beetles stopped growing after reaching level twenty-five. However, a few could grow to level twenty-eight. For every hundred level twenty-five beetles, one could grow to level twenty-eight.
But level twenty-eight beetles were not the pinnacle. Among every hundred level twenty-eight beetles, one could break through to level thirty. These level thirty beetles, elite monsters acting as guards, were stationed around the insect nest.
Only the level twenty-five and twenty-eight beetles road around, preyed on every creature in the sewer, and even the small animals like rats were not spared. The corpses of these creatures were then transported back to the insect nest to be stored as food.
