Chapter 1508: Chapter 1510: Tomb Chapter 1508: Chapter 1510: Tomb Song Jian quickly arrived at the tomb in the center of the depression. Though it was called a tomb, it actually looked more like a small mound of earth less than three ters tall. A half-remaining stele stood in front of the mound, and the inscriptions on it were already blurred. If not for Song Jian’s keen eyesight, it would have been impossible to discover this tomb.

Approaching the mound, one could vaguely see traces of bricks and stones peeking through the dirt. The black bricks and stones appeared sowhat dilapidated, their surfaces covered with fine cracks, yet they showed no larger holes. Clearly, this tomb had never been excavated since its construction, and it was considered relatively well preserved.

There was no possibility of searching for the tomb entrance now, as the savages had already charged into the depression, roaring and howling as they rushed toward the crowd.

Suddenly, a Blood Colored Arena appeared in the sky once again. This ti, without any prompt, two individuals chose to fight to the death and flew into the arena. Those too slow to act showed expressions of frustration.

Intent on entering the tomb, Song Jian had not noticed the prompt about the arena’s appearance. By the ti he realized it, it was too late; on the two arenas in the sky, four individuals looked down at the surging savage monsters below with relief on their faces.

Entering the Blood Colored Arena gave them a fifty-fifty chance of survival, but those who remained in the depression had almost no chance of living.

“Phew, brother, let’s hide for a while and wait for those monsters to leave before we settle our duel, how about that?” one of the Human Race heroes who had just taken refuge in the arena said to an alien from the Starry Sky Alien Race, wiping away cold sweat.

The alien from the Starry Sky Alien Race looked at the Human Race hero with an irritated expression and gave a slight nod.

Deciding life and death now would an both would die. Even if they erged as victors, falling back into the depression would lead them to be killed by savage monsters. With ample ti in the Blood Colored Arena, as long as a victor was not decided quickly, the arena would continue to exist.

For these intruders, the Blood Colored Arena had beco a sanctuary; only by entering it could they hope to survive!

The fight was about to erupt; the first savage monster to charge down, a creature with three heads and six arms, leapt over ten ters and pounced on an alien from the Legendary Realm. With one hand, it grabbed the alien’s head, lifted it high, and with its other hand gripped a leg. It then roared and tore violently, instantly ripping the alien warrior in half in a matter of seconds!

The savage monster held its head high, gulping down the spilt blood of the alien eagerly, then tossed aside the corpse. It beat its chest hard, displaying an extrely ferocious deanor.

At this mont, the intruders had no intention of fighting; each used their own unique skills in an attempt to flee the depression. Only Song Jian stood in front of a mound, took a deep breath, and swung his fist fiercely at the mound!

Bang!

A muffled explosion sounded, Song Jian’s punch had penetrated the outer wall of the tomb, revealing a large hole!

Gusts of cold wind blew out from the black hole, accompanied by wailing spirits, giving the sensation that the gates of Hell had been opened.

Seeing the savages already pouncing, Song Jian gritted his teeth and dove into the deep hole of the tomb.

Just as Song Jian’s figure disappeared into the hole, several others ran over and followed him inside. After all, the area wasn’t large, and Song Jian’s actions had caught the attention of a few nearby individuals. At this ti, being in the air made one an easier target. Flying would only lead to a quicker death. However, burrowing underground seed like a good strategy to avoid the savage monsters.

Song Jian was unaware that others had followed him inside. As he entered the hole, it was as if he were falling from the sky. Just as the thought of summoning his flying sword crossed his mind, his body jolted, and his feet touched solid ground.

Huff, huff, huff~

The mont Song Jian landed, the sound of flas burning arose, and torches suddenly ignited all around, illuminating the surroundings with bright light!

It was then that Song Jian saw he had fallen into a large underground hall, surrounded by variously shaped stone statues. Above his head was a large hole through which gray shadows occasionally streaked, giving the impression of ghostly spirits.

Thump, thump~

Following behind Song Jian, more falling sounds were heard. Turning his head, he saw three or four people had fallen to the floor, struggling to get up.

“Ouch, why is it so deep in here!” A young prodigy of the Human Race rubbed his lower back with a pained expression and struggled to stand.

Seeing Song Jian looking over at him, the man chuckled and said, “Brother Song, my na is Zhao Tianyang from the Hanhai Sect. Us being here at the sa ti must be fate. How about we team up?”

“Heh, you know ?” Song Jian laughed.

“Of course! Brother, your fa on the Starry Sky Battlefield is such that I think nobody is unaware of it. With Tier 3 Combat Power, challenging three warriors from the Legendary Realm of the Starry Sky Alien Race, and even two at the peak of the Legendary Realm—that strength, even among Legendary Realm warriors, is really sothing!” Zhao Tianyang gave a thumbs-up, his face full of admiration.

Song Jian then turned to look at the other two individuals. Short in stature, they were not from the Human Race but rather two divine children from the Starry Sky Alien Race. After falling into the tomb, they quickly grouped together and looked at Song Jian warily before imdiately vanishing into the darkness, hiding in a different direction.

“Hey, brother, it seems these two are afraid of you. What do you say, how about we join forces and finish them off? They’re just two high-Level Legendary Realm fighters. Even without , Brother Song could take them on alone, right?” Zhao Tianyang’s eyes glinted with a hint of murderous intent as he whispered, “Even if the Bloody Arena doesn’t appear, as long as we kill soone here, we can still get a reward, though not as abundant as the ones from the Blood Colored Arena.”

Having entered this area with the aim to reap benefits through combat, Song Jian naturally had no objections. After a brief discussion, they chased after the two Alien Race warriors they had seen earlier.

However, after a short chase, they gave up. Following the direction in which the two Alien Race warriors had fled, they ended up in a strange passage that resembled a labyrinth with myriad interconnecting paths. Every few ters, a new branch would appear. Initially, they could track by the sound of footsteps, but soon, they realized they were lost within the tomb.

“How, how could this happen?” Zhao Tianyang scratched his head, his expression sowhat embarrassed.

Song Jian looked at the task map but didn’t see any task prompts. If they were close to a task target, there would be an obvious flashing signal on the map. Since it wasn’t there, it ant that Song Jian was still a considerable distance from the task target.

“Let’s search slowly. We can’t get out anyway, and we might as well explore this place in the anti. Perhaps we’ll stumble upon so unexpected treasure!” Song Jian remarked.

“Guess that’s all we can do!” Zhao Tianyang sighed. The tomb was filled with an eerie atmosphere, and from ti to ti, ghostly howls rang out. If it weren’t for the wild beasts and monsters having sealed off the outside, Zhao Tianyang would have never chosen to hide in this tomb.

The two continued to tread carefully forward, much slower this ti. Soon, a gray shadow appeared around a corner ahead in the passage. Noticing the two n, the gray shadow stopped for a mont, then let out a fierce roar and lunged towards them.
