The Death Lord, having taken the full force of the explosion, was severely damaged, half of its body already gone. The wound flickered with dark red light, molten tal dripping to the ground, its body prone on the ground, sporadically sparking and its limbs twitching unnaturally. Even though it hadn’t been completely destroyed, it had already lost its capacity for battle.
“Where did Situ Kaiss go?” Song Jian opened his Vertical eye, searching carefully. For so reason, he had completely lost track of Situ Kaiss’s presence, as if she had vanished into thin air.
“Could she have been completely obliterated by the blast?” Song Jian guessed. Situ Kaiss was significantly weaker than the Death Lord, and though she had been standing much further away, the terrifying power of the explosion was certainly not sothing a lord-tier boss like her could withstand.
