The two young giraffes were a bit nervous upon their arrival, and Fang Ye visited them every morning to chat for a while, soothing their emotions.

In the first two or three days, Number 10 and Number 11's appetites were not great; they hardly ate anything.

Gradually, as they adapted to the new environnt here, they began to eat the feed carefully prepared by the animal keepers, and their al sizes returned to normal.

They wandered around their indoor enclosure every day, curiously observing their surroundings, and had finally settled down at Linhai Zoo, which also gave Fang Ye and the animal keepers a sigh of relief.

In this period, Fang Ye also managed to acquire two adult giraffes, planning to transport them to a nearby port by sea and then bring them over by helicopter.

The hippos, White Brow hoolock gibbons, and other animals were also gradually brought in.

They're currently undergoing quarantine. Once the quarantine is nearly complete and the outdoor activity enclosure is built, we'll officially open for visits.

The system construction team works fast; the construction of several new exhibits is almost finished now.

There are also so rabbits ready to be placed at the Little Farm.

Visitor numbers are increasing, and we now offer alpaca walking activities, where visitors can take alpacas out for a stroll. Since we don't have enough alpacas to et visitor demand, we're getting so rabbits specifically for children to pet.

The zoo has been exceedingly lively lately.

Apart from the new animals, there have been many births!

In March, a few of the female raccoons beca incredibly irritable, chasing the other raccoons around and not wanting them to co close. This was a typical sign of pregnancy in raccoons.

The animal keepers moved them to separate birthing rooms. By mid-May, we had raccoon babies being born. By early June, the last one was born as well.

Altogether, there were twelve!

The one raccoon mother had five, proving to be quite prolific.

The raccoon family grew substantially overnight, and one could imagine the liveliness to co.

Besides raccoons, there were various species of birds!

The swans, mandarin ducks, mallards, which ca early to the zoo and had adapted well, started dating earlier and began laying and incubating eggs.

Now, the swans are incredibly irritable; each one acts like they're on gunpowder, ready to fight anyone who cos near.

The animal keepers have to be extrely careful when feeding them, afraid of irritating these powerful fighters—otherwise, they risk being pecked at fiercely and chased away with flapping wings.

The flamingos arrived later and are just starting to fight for the nesting sites, but it seems their breeding season will be over soon, and it feels unlikely they'll breed this year.

By mid-June, the green peafowl chicks will almost be ready to hatch!

In the days leading up to the hatch, He Yifei and the staff at the bird pavilion watched the monitors around the clock in shifts, observing the hatching situation of the green peafowl chicks.

Multiple caras were installed at various angles nearby, ready to intervene if any problems arose during the hatching.

Fang Ye hadn't been sleeping well for several days, dreaming about green peafowls.

He dreamt that all the green peafowl eggs had broken, shocking him into trembling violently and waking up drenched in cold sweat, tumbling out of bed.

Lan Li opened her eyes groggily and yawned, "What's up?"

Fang Ye's heart was pounding as he wiped the sweat from his brow, "Damn, I dreamt that the green peafowl eggs all broke."

Lan Li also sat up, switched on the bedside lamp, and gently caressed his back, consoling him softly, "Dreams are often the opposite of reality. If you dreamt this, it ans that the little green peafowl are about to hatch! Don't be so nervous."

Fang Ye felt Lan Li's soft body embracing him, radiating a warm and comforting feeling, and his heartbeat gradually cald down.

If anything were really wrong, the animal keepers would surely call him imdiately.

Still feeling sowhat uneasy, he said, "I can't sleep now, I'm going to check on the bird pavilion."

Lan Li replied, "I'll co with you!"

At five in the morning, the sky had already begun to brighten.

Arriving at the bird pavilion's control room, Fang Ye greeted He Yifei, "Have the green peafowls hatched?"

He Yifei excitedly responded, "It's not very clear, but it seems like one has broken out of the shell! I was planning to tell you about it this morning."

Fang Ye's eyes widened with excitent as he leaned towards the monitor, "Where? Where?"

Watching the monitor, the Peahen Mother shifted her body, and it looked like there was a fuzzy little gray ball moving underneath her!

Fang Ye couldn't help but smile brightly, "That's great!"

Lan Li gave a sweet smile, "I told you dreams are the opposite."

In the following days, all the baby green peafowls hatched, healthy and well.

They were already able to follow their parents around for walks, looking incredibly cute.

Overjoyed, Fang Ye sent out a large red packet in the group to share the happiness with everyone.

If concerns were arising about controlling the breeding of raccoons due to their numbers, for the green peafowls, Fang Ye only had one thing to say, let them breed! The more the better, he could afford to raise them all!

...

The large long-necked giraffes at the zoo had gotten used to the transport crates and were ready to be transported.

Fang Ye personally accompanied them on a helicopter flight over, which was also a rare experience.

When the visitors saw a helicopter slowly descending from the sky with the transport crates carrying the giraffes, they were stunned by the cinematic scene!

The giraffes were gentle by nature, and the two new arrivals quickly got along well with the two younger ones.

After being busy for a while, Fang Ye finally caught his breath!

He decided to start a livestream, taking the online viewers for a tour to see the new animals at the zoo, as well as the newborns.

He called for Lan Li, and kicked off the livestream.

"First, first!"

"Shocked, the missing person has returned!"

"Director, if you don't stream again soon, I'm going to call the police!"

"Gone for so long without a word, even the donkeys in the production team wouldn't dare to take such a rest!"

"Ahhh, I want to see Jiaojiao! I want to see Ice Cake! I've missed them to death."

"Director, now that you're back, you've got to stream for three days straight, right?"

Although Fang Ye hadn't stread for a long ti, as soon as he started, the chat was quickly flooded with ssages!

Any other host who stread just once a week and disappeared without a trace would have been unfollowed long ago, but Fang Ye's fans were very loyal.

Fang Ye apologized, bowing his fist, "Sorry, bros, I've been really busy lately! Our zoo has had a lot going on recently, and there are so things I don't feel comfortable not handling personally, so I've been overwheld."

"Is it because of the new animals being introduced?"

Fang Ye replied with a smile, "Exactly, giraffes, hippos, gibbons, and we also have animal breeding, our green peafowls have laid eggs and hatched already!"

"Shocked!!!"

"Wow, this is the happiest news I've heard this year! Here's hoping the green peafowl family thrives and prospers!"

"What do the baby green peafowls look like?"

With a cool snap of his fingers, Fang Ye said, "Hold your horses, bros, we're off to the bird pavilion right now!"
