Red panda exhibit!
The afternoon is a perfect ti for sunbathing.
Now entering autumn, the sun in Linhai is comfortably warm.
Unlike the oppressive heat of sumr when they had to be given cool ice blocks to prevent them from lting away in the sun.
Chestnut lay lazily on a slanted perch, basking in the sunshine, feeling so warm and cozy that it was unbearable!
At that mont, Shuaishuai climbed up from underneath the perch, planning to take the aerial walkway to sunbathe on a tree across the way.
Seeing Chestnut on the perch sunbathing, he hesitated briefly before stopping.
Should he ask Chestnut to make way, or turn back and run to the bottom of that tree before climbing up again?
Clearly, passing here would be a bit shorter!
So Shuaishuai reached out a paw and gently pushed Chestnut.

Chestnut got up, saw it was Shuaishuai, and lay back down to continue sunbathing, too lazy to move.
Had it been another red panda, he might have made way, but not for Shuaishuai, whom he found annoying at the best of tis.
Ordinarily, red pandas are solitary creatures in the wild, not social animals, but they are kept together because they are relatively mild-mannered. Still, there were minor conflicts between them.
Shuaishuai also happened to be the only other male, which made him even less likable.
So it goes: opposites attract, like repels like!
Shuaishuai pushed Chestnut again with his paw, but not only did Chestnut not move aside, he even opened his mouth and roared at Shuaishuai.
It was as if saying, "Scram, get lost!"
This instantly infuriated Shuaishuai!
He too opened his mouth, letting out a threatening sound.
Chestnut stopped sunbathing and faced off with Shuaishuai on the bridge-like perch, both of them looking fierce at each other!
While red pandas normally appear adorably cute, soft, and cuddly, when they get angry, their mouths open wide to reveal sharp teeth, and their eyes stare and brows furrow... yet they still manage to look pretty cute.
In a word, they look fiercely adorable!
Visitors outside noticed the commotion and turned their attention here.
"Hey, what's going on with those two red pandas, are they about to fight?"
"Red pandas, such gentle creatures, they fight too?"
Shuaishuai, being on the lower ground, was slightly crouched. His back arched, ready to pounce!
Seeing Chestnut raise his paw as if to strike, Shuaishuai suddenly pushed off with his front paw, uncurling his body in a flash, and swiped at Chestnut's cheek first.
Chestnut quickly ducked his head to dodge, and the swipe landed on the thick fur covering his head, setting his red fur waving like ripples.
Looking up, he quickly swiped back, hitting Shuaishuai on the top of his head as well.
Shuaishuai, apparently feeling the disadvantage of being lower down, turned his plump body and ran off, dragging his fluffy thick tail behind him, which Chestnut quickly caught up to and bit.
However, the thick fur on the tail slipped right out of his mouth with a whoosh.
The two plump red pandas took their chase onto the grass, taking bounding leaps with their short legs, their red bodies bouncing along.
After rounding a rock, Shuaishuai stopped to look back and saw Chestnut catching up. The two red pandas stood up simultaneously and started flailing their short legs, throwing chaotic punches at each other, while grunting and emitting hoarse, intense pig-like noises as they fought!
The cry of the red panda was indistinguishable from a pig's oink!
Besides the "grunts," there was also a sharper "squeak."
