After a long period of preparation, Linhai Zoo's reptiles and amphibians exhibit was finally ready to open to the public, and the official social dia account released relevant information.

It was supposed to open around the National Day holiday, but Fang Ye added a design for a rest and service area later on, which extended the opening ti a bit.

This period wasn't wasted, though, since the exhibit housed so dangerously venomous snakes, among other things. Keepers got to familiarize themselves more with daily operations and rehearse ergency procedures. They also had the chance to adjust the arrangent of exhibit signs and enclosures.

Fang Ye was still not very familiar with the reptile zoo aspect, and most of the enclosure designs were based on research. When faced with uncertainties, he would consult experts like Tousei and Midorino. After all, he couldn't very well bother them about every little detail.

Lü Ye had visited many reptile exhibits abroad, often flying around the world to observe these animals in person. He kept so pets too and was quite skilled, not just a re unfortunate soul. Otherwise, Fang Ye wouldn't have hired him as the team leader.

After arriving at the zoo, Lü Ye pointed out so flaws using his knowledge and experience. For instance, the enclosure for the green tree python was too small. The original enclosure was 70 cm wide, 1.5 ters long, and 1 ter high, but now it had been adjusted to 2 ters by 2 ters by 2.5 ters high.

Although green tree pythons usually stay up in the trees and hardly co down, for animals that aren't very active or move very little, those occasional monts of activity are crucial.

If the space is too small, animals might lose the desire to move when they occasionally want to, becoming more frustrated and eventually falling ill or developing ntal health problems.

Anyway, the zoo was currently keeping only a few reptiles and didn't lack space; having a larger area is better. As long as the animals are happy and comfortable, that's what matters!

...

In a group called "Linhai Wildlife Park Enthusiasts," mbers were excitedly discussing!

The group admin "Daigo" forwarded the official account's article to the group and @everyone: "Guys, is anyone going to the reptiles and amphibians exhibit tomorrow?"

Soone imdiately shouted: "Do we even need to ask? Of course, we're going!"

A cute girl said: "If it were any other exhibit, I'd definitely go, but snakes are so scary, I'm terrified of snakes."

Lin Hao thought for a mont and hesitantly added: "I'll go too!"

Lin Hao was a senior in college, and he got to know Linhai Zoo through live streaming.

Initially, he was drawn in by Fang Ye's live stream of petting tigers, such an impressive feat, and the tigers looked incredibly handso too!

After following for a while, he never missed a live stream by Fang Ye, gradually falling in love with the zoo.

It just so happened that he was looking for an internship for his graduation project, so he inquired and got in touch with a company at Linhai Science and Technology Park, coming to Linhai to intern while working on his project.

Having visited the zoo a few tis, watching through a live stream simply couldn't compare to being there in person, which was way cooler. He could observe the animals more closely and took his ti, even getting himself an annual pass.

But visiting the zoo alone felt a bit dull, so he had a brainwave and searched to see if there was a "Linhai Zoo" group, and he actually found one.

True to the group's na, everyone there was an enthusiast who loves Linhai Zoo!

He wasn't scared of snakes or such animals but wasn't particularly interested either; news of the reptile exhibit opening left him unmoved.

However, it was a rare opportunity, and going out with group mbers sounded fun.

Lin Hao @Daigo: "Group admin, are you going?"

Daigo: "Haha, of course, I'm going. Anyone else not going?"

Lili felt a pang of jealousy: "I want to go too! The snake in the photo in the article looks so pretty!"

Daigo: "I'm blushing, can I be your tour guide, Lili?" Your journey continues at empire

Lin Hao's mind raced: "Eh, is Lili a girl?"

Chunyu Jiangshanglai: "Haha, newbie, you arrived late and didn't see the flashy photo Lili posted. Not only is Lili a girl, but she's also very pretty. Then I'll go too."

Lili: "I plan to go with my boyfriend."

Daigo: "Ahem, never mind then. Alright, who's going tomorrow? , Lili, Mr. Lin, Brother Chun?"

Chunyu: "/Rolls eyes, forget it, I won't go."

There are over a hundred people in the group, but most are lurking, and only about a dozen are active.

In the end, it was just the three of them, with Lili bringing her boyfriend.

...

At 9 o'clock the next morning!

The few who had agreed on a ti t at the entrance to the zoo.

Daigo was a jolly fellow with an honest face, weighing over two hundred pounds, wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with an ani tigress, and holding an expensive-looking SLR cara. He seed like the well-off otaku type.

He greeted Lin Hao with a smile: "You must be Mr. Lin, right? Welco, welco, we should hang out more often in the future. This is Lili and her boyfriend, haha, you probably already know them."

Lili was cozily linking arms with her boyfriend, giggling: "Hello! Now that everyone's here, we can go into the park."

"Hi everyone," Lin Hao greeted as well.

As they bought their tickets to enter the zoo, Lin Hao quietly asked Daigo, "About your T-shirt...?"

Daigo glanced down at the risqué-looking ani tigress on his T-shirt, patted his chest, and burst into laughter: "Oh, my favorite thing in the zoo is the tigers, but we're from the comics and ani world—wearing a plain tiger T-shirt would be so boring. If you're gonna wear one, it has to be an ani tigress! I ordered this T-shirt custom online—how do you like it, not bad, right?

If you want, I can get you one too?"

Lin Hao had a face full of disbelief, wondering what "we're from the comics and ani world" even ant.

Though he occasionally dabbled in ani, there was clearly a level distinction within the fandom, and he would never dare to wear such an embarrassing shirt out in public.

Daigo, on the other hand, stood unabashed, chest out and head held high, utterly unconcerned with the curious glances from other visitors—in fact, he seed to be enjoying the attention.

The article in the public account ntioned that the reptiles and amphibians exhibit was located near the mini farm, so they didn't take the usual route and headed to the left instead.

So other visitors made the sa choice as them, apparently all going to see the newly opened reptiles and amphibians exhibit!

Passing by the mini farm, Lili got excited and suggested: "Why don't we go see the alpacas now? It should be feeding ti, I haven't managed to feed them on my previous visits!"

When the zoo wasn't as busy, alpacas could be fed anyti. But as the crowds grew, even if everyone fed them just a little, the alpacas couldn't eat that much, so feeding ti was limited to an hour at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and once the food was gone, that was it.

However, petting and taking photos with them were not limited. The usually docile alpacas didn't mind a bit of touching or posing for a picture, except for those with a bit of personality, like Brother Aotian.
