Mother Fang took a deep breath, her eyes becoming moist.

Her son was the apple of her eye, and the thought of Fang Ye risking his life to attract visitors by engaging with lions and tigers made her heart ache and fear for him!

Although he was standing here safe and sound now, what if sothing happened?

Well... sothing had actually happened, though it was different from what she expected. The original owner had died suddenly from overworking during the day and staying up late at night studying knowledge. However, Fang Ye inherited the original owner's mories and was reborn, so one could also say nothing had happened.

Wiping her eyes, she choked out, "It's nothing!"

She decided not to share her discovery with Father Fang just yet, planning to ask him later.

"I'm going up now. You can film from the side later!"

Father Fang saw Mother Fang looking as if she wanted to cry but understood – his son was emotional!

He took out his phone, opened the recording app, and said, "Okay, you go ahead!"

Fang Ye was talking with visitors. "In Europe, animals like lions and eagles are highly esteed and many families use lions in their coats of arms, right? Look at 'Harry Potter'; the Gryffindor house emblem is also a lion, symbolizing courage.

But have you noticed that these crests always feature male lions? Are there any that use a lioness as the emblem?"

The visitors thought hard and realized, hey, that seems to be true!

A visitor, who appeared to be a football fan, said, "Real Zaragoza's emblem is a red shield with an upright male lion! Manchester United's emblem also features a red lion with a crown, wielding a trident."

"Male lions have manes, which look cool! Lionesses don't have such distinctive features."

Fang Ye smiled and said, "Exactly, the biggest difference between male and female lions is the mane!

"Male lions' manes look handso and noble. For a long ti, humans have seen the long manes on the lion's shoulders and neck as symbols of power and dignity.

"Not only in human eyes, but within the pride as well, the mane is a significant symbol of status! Generally, when a group of lions feeds, it's usually the lion with the longest mane that has the right to eat first. Of course, usually, the lion with the longest mane is also the largest, and its presence makes the smaller lions consciously move aside."

"Before fighting, lions will size up each other's mane to gauge fighting strength. If they see a lion with a long mane, they probably won't want to ss with it and might just submit, thus the mane can save lions from unnecessary fights."

"It's akin to humans with exaggerated tattoos or those wearing big gold chains; you can tell at a glance they're not easy to contend with. People would rather avoid them if possible."

"Of course, the mane does more than just look good. If a fight does break out, the thick and sturdy mane serves as great protection, shielding against most blows and bites."

"Aweso!"

"Learned sothing new!"

The group of underachievers cheered.

"Actually, the function of the mane doesn't stop there," added Fang Ye. "Just as peafowl and deer are attracted by the peacock's beautiful tail and the large antlers on a stag's head, a long mane can make a male lion more attractive to lionesses.

"When courting, the male lion will strut in front of the lionesses, showing off its mane for them to assess if he could be a suitable mate.

"Although the mane sacrifices the lion's stealth during hunting, considering it grants defense 10, deterrence effect 10, and allure to the opposite sex 10, overall it's worth having!"

The visitors listened to Fang Ye's accessible explanations, their faces showing that they had gained so insight.

Just then, a visitor wearing sunglasses asked, "Director, I heard you can even pet lions and tigers? Isn't that dangerous?"

Fang Ye looked at the visitor and felt a strange sensation in his heart. Why would soone wear sunglasses indoors?

He smiled and said, "Well, I have a good relationship with the animals in the zoo, and they consider a friend, so I can stay by their side like a friend!"

The zoo director is too modest!

Next to him, an old visitor imdiately boasted proudly on behalf of Fang Ye, chattering, "Hey, for the director, it's a piece of cake!"

"Yeah, the director is an Archdruid. Petting lions and tigers is no different from petting little kittens."

"The first ti I ca to the zoo, I saw the director swimming with a tiger, and it scared ! But then I got used to it."

"The predators in the zoo, if raised by humans, aren't as fierce as the wild ones. If you're on good terms with them, you can pet them."

Hearing the last visitor's comnt, Fang Ye imdiately beca serious and corrected, "Actually, lions and tigers are very dangerous! A predator is a predator. There is no such thing as zoo-raised animals being safe. Everyone must not think that if they're on good terms with them, they can get close."

The visitor with the sunglasses, out of the blue, asked, "Director, do you think I'm dangerous?"

"Hmm?" Fang Ye was puzzled by the question and looked closely at the visitor, the feeling of strangeness within him rising.

Why does this person look sowhat familiar?

Seeing the woman take off her sunglasses to reveal a face very familiar and dear to his mory, with a rather subtle expression.

His brain suddenly crashed. Isn't that Mother Fang?

Fang Ye felt a bit of collapse inside. She had co so suddenly, and he had no ntal preparation at all!

And he hadn't recognized Mother Fang's disguise earlier, and he had carelessly admitted to petting tigers and lions. How was he supposed to explain that?

He froze for a few seconds, then turned his earpiece off and squeezed out an awkward but polite smile, "Oh, Mom! Long ti no see, you're still so young and beautiful, as gorgeous as a flower. Listen to my explanation..."

"Alright, I'll listen to your explanation..."

The two of them walked away, leaving the visitors sowhat dumbfounded.

Then they looked at each other, "Oops, that's bad!"

"Did I say sothing I shouldn't have?"

"There goes being a low-profile director. My parents discovered I'm the Archdruid!"

The visitor who was boasting about Fang Ye petting predators like kittens, now put his hands together in prayer, wearing a look of sanctity, "I hope the director is alright!"

...

A mont later, at the Lion Restaurant!

On the other side of the indoor area of the lion exhibit, one could directly exit to continue strolling in the Predator Gallery or enter the Lion Restaurant.

The restaurant's environnt is different from the resting area restaurant being built next to the reptile house. It is purposefully decorated to be rather rough, with deep yellow wooden walls that exude the primitive tribal atmosphere of the African savannas.

Through the large, bright windows, the beautiful scenery of the lion exhibit's grasslands could be admired in its entirety.

One could see the magnificent Pride Rock, and Qiqi was lying not far from the window, resting on the grass.

Fang Ye and his parents were sitting in the restaurant, Fang Ye smiling awkwardly, while Father Fang and Mother Fang were mostly not in a good mood.

"Do we need to ask, or are you going to confess honestly?"
