The mont Felix's eyes t the elephant's he could feel that his assumptions were true, he was a special entity, not as special as him but still special!
He wasn't sure if he was truly seen or not, he could see that the elephant's eyes narrowed the mont he sensed him but he didn't really know his location, just the general direction.
The elephant left the funeral behind as the remains of the elephants were buried into the ground, he decided to take a stroll outside the village, seemingly as if he got bored of the stuffy situation he was in.
Felix knew sothing wasn't right, if he knew he was here why did he leave himself open like that?
Was he that confident in his abilities or was he trying to get Felix to talk to him?
Felix disappeared from the walls as he appeared 5 ters ahead of the elephant youth, the youth stopped walking as he looked at Felix and told him:
"So we et, invader..."
Felix nodded at him, seeing that Felix didn't say anything the elephant chuckled and said:
"Not the talkative type? I guess it's normal for an assassin type like you."
Felix continued to keep mum, he wasn't here to talk but to scout the situation, he already sent a ssage to the shaman about the current situation and that all of their troops were annihilated, he should co soon just like the way he ca to annihilate the black bears.
"I know you have sent a ssage for reinforcents, I don't particularly care, as many as you co you will all be killed and buried here."
He pointed to the battlefield behind them that was full of relatively fresh corpses and continued:
"You will join them soon, God's chosen or not, I will make sure to kill you enough tis."
Felix's eyes narrowed as this person sohow knew about his revival ability, was this common knowledge that everyone could get from their god, or could all Gods chosen revive?
Felix's silhouette disappeared as he used his stealth technique, the elephant shook his head as he said:
"So you want to fight? Be my guest, however, once you start fighting with you can't stop yourself anymore."
Felix's claws tried to reach his opponent's neck but it was seemingly stopped by an invisible shield.
He frowned as he looked at the elephant's green trunk, it was glowing!
That ant this shield-like ability ca from his trunk.
Felix tried to target his trunk as he shot out a few aerial claws from his paws but all they did was bounce harmlessly from his shield, it seed his shield was too strong for him to pierce through with conventional ans!
"I told you can't stop yourself from fighting after you start it."
He shook his head as he moved his hand and pointed it in Felix's direction, Felix was invisible but sohow he knew his general direction!
Felix could feel materialized pressure start to push on his body, it was weighing down on the places around him but it wasn't pushed directly on his body as the elephant didn't know his true location.
Felix wasn't sure how he knew his location at all, had his God given him an ability that enhanced the elephants already impressive senses, or were his talents that good? Or was it both? Felix wasn't arrogant but he didn't think soone of this man's abilities could sense his stealth, he felt to be strong but it seed he didn't have much battle experience from the way he carried himself.
Felix could abuse that fact, he moved as he threw a feint using his aura to confuse the man, the pressure started to move from his actual location towards the feint aura and Felix smiled inside, it seed he was correct about his hunch!
Even though he was a God's chosen just like him he was like a flower in a greenhouse, but the way he acted made it look like he was an experienced man, he was oozing confidence and arrogance at the sa ti, he beca unlike the person who was trying to act for peace, was this his true self or was he like this just when fighting against the opponents of his tribe?
Felix's stealth technique reached the peak of what it was possible, and he could enhance it even further through the stealth combat breathing technique of the cat tribe ancestors!
Felix's breathing turned quick and erratic as all traces of his aura disappeared, this ti a frown could be seen on the face of the elephant, it seed Felix's enhanced stealth technique was giving troubles to his senses!
The pressure field that he could control started to expand as it recklessly increased in size trying to flatten Felix like a pancake regardless of his location!
Even though the power and size of the pressure field increased it still didn't touch even one hair of Felix's body, he realized the field was bad news the mont it spawned a few ters away from him so he couldn't let himself be captured by it!
Felix's speed increased even further due to his enhanced stealth state, the increases made to his physical attributes during this technique were the most negligent compared to the other front combat breathing techniques but that was only compared to the other techniques!
His speed increase from this technique gave him a big enough edge over his opponent's pressure field so he could dodge it easily no matter how big its size beca, all he had to do was dodge around the outskirts of it as he got closer to the elephant, he wanted to break through his barrier and give him a pumling!
It wasn't that he just started to hate the man or sothing but he realized that the god who supported him and the god the elephant youth were practically enemies!
He could feel a sense of distrust and disgust when he looked at the elephant youth even though he had never t the man previously in his life!
Where could these emotions co from? Felix thought that they were either sent by the God of trickery directly or they ca from the ability he inserted into his soul.
So one way or another he had to fight the man, be it in the future or now wouldn't make a big difference to Felix.
The man also wanted to gauge Felix's strength and see if he could end him here or he had to ask for backup from the elders of the village, while his strength was quite advanced it wasn't above Felix's, they were at most equals and what differentiated them was their ways of fighting.
Felix's stealth technique put the elephant on the ropes he tried to expand his pressure field even more but at so point, blood started to drip from his nose, Felix narrowed his eyes, it seed his techniques could affect his body as well if they were pushed too far.
Felix's body suddenly appeared near his opponent's invisible shield as a dark slash ca out of his paw!
The slash was created by a montary use of the head-on battle breathing technique.
The slash was so fast that the elephant couldn't do anything besides widen his eyes as it easily pierced through his shield like it was made of tofu.
The elephants' youth head flew into the air with a grieved expression on his face, it seed like he didn't believe that Felix was so strong compared to him!
Suddenly the elephant's body started to crumble into a bunch of light without Felix touching it at all!
Felix frowned as he retreated from the location where just a pool of blood remained, who knew what kind of abilities could be unleashed after the man's death?
Unsurprisingly out of the sa location a body plopped down as he kneeled while gasping for air, sohow the elephant youth had revived!
Felix looked at his body that still retained his clothes and most of the things he had before death, the only difference was that one of his golden tusks was severed from the bone!
Felix thought as he looked at the severed tusk:
"So that's his way of keeping track of his lives?"
It seed that what Felix thought was true, every god chosen got multiple lives! He wasn't the only one dubbed special there were other people like him out there!
The man quickly got up from his kneeling position as he looked at Felix and then suddenly started to run away!
Felix wanted to catch up to him but sohow his speed increased marginally the closer he got to the village and before Felix could kill him again he jumped over the big walls sohow and disappeared.
Felix scratched the back of his head with his paw as he looked at his receding figure and decided against following him, there would surely be an ambush prepared for him the mont he got closer to the village, all he could do now was wait for his reinforcents while he gave another report to Siracha!
