"Since the apocalypse began, aren’t you afraid that I’m a bad person?" Ji Qiuyue didn’t hurry to get in the car but asked instead.
The driver in the blue hat couldn’t help but laugh, "In the apocalypse, who’s bad or not? Everyone is just trying to survive. Besides, haven’t you heard of the Awakeners?"
"I’ve heard of them," Ji Qiuyue nodded.
The driver in the blue hat said, "That’s why, without so skills, I wouldn’t dare to take people along the way."
Ji Qiuyue understood. The reason they dared to take her was that all three of them were Awakeners, very confident in their abilities. She truly understood now.
She got in the car.
The modified bus continued to drive.
Through conversation, Ji Qiuyue learned their nas. The driver in the blue hat was called Zhu Lei.
The other, a clean-freak boy, was called Zhang Botao.
The sowhat overweight guy was called Gao Cuihua.
She could confirm that these three were all Awakeners, but she didn’t know what their awakened abilities were.
The driver in the blue hat said, "You probably don’t know about the gathering place, right?"
"You can tell?" Ji Qiuyue assud they would believe it, but apparently, she was thinking too much.
"Of course, I can tell. After surviving in the apocalypse for so long, if you’re still as naive as before, you wouldn’t even know how you’d die."
Zhu Lei smiled as he drove and chatted with Ji Qiuyue.
"Sorry, I didn’t an to hide it. I just wanted to check out the gathering place." Ji Qiuyue was very interested in the gathering place. The apocalypse turned out to be more brutal than she imagined, but there are also survivors who have lived through it, with strong minds and will.
"Where are you from?" Zhu Lei asked.
Ji Qiuyue replied, "From a faraway place, I ca over from He City."
She didn’t ntion coming from Yellow City.
"He City? It’s very close to Yellow City. Sunshine Shelter in Yellow City is very famous. If you don’t want to wander outside, Sunshine Shelter is the best place to go."
Zhu Lei and the others looked at Ji Qiuyue curiously.
"I found out too late. Do you guys know Sunshine Shelter in Yellow City?" Ji Qiuyue asked as well.
Zhu Lei said, "Of course we know, the current ’Zombie Album’ isn’t a secret. There’s a shelter there, with a group of survivors. I know you’d surely ask, if we know, why not go there? The reason is simple, it’s too far, and we want to move around freely."
Ji Qiuyue wanted to say that even at Sunshine Shelter in Yellow City, you still have freedom. There is no such thing as a lack of freedom, and more importantly... safety can be absolutely guaranteed.

Zhu Lei, while driving, directly threw a booklet to Ji Qiuyue.
"You’ve never been to a gathering place, you can take a look at the contents of the booklet."
Ji Qiuyue looked at the booklet in her hand. There were no words on the cover. She opened the first page, and the contents were all printed. The first line ntioned information about Lin Fan.
She wondered if soone during the apocalypse copied the "Zombie Album," added so content to it, and presented it as their own creation?
This booklet also had records of the crystals.
She continued to browse through it.

Ji Qiuyue finally understood why, even though there were Awakeners in the gathering place, they chose to stay outside rather than rely on their skills to go to Sunshine Shelter.
The main idea of the final content was how Lin Fan could reach a god-like level, all through consuming crystals and evolving through fighting zombies.
It also created a whole theory of genetic evolution, likening tad lambs to those without freedom, unable to exceed free lambs running wild on the grassland, and so forth...
The ssage was clear, Awakeners must rely on themselves.
After browsing,
Ji Qiuyue slightly frowned, realizing sothing was off. If she could understand the previous content, the analysis about Lin Fan at the end seed more like a suggestion than an analysis.
It seed to entice Awakeners to aspire to beco like Lin Fan.
To transcend the limits of ordinary people.
To beco a new breed of human, one has to rely on their own efforts. Going to the Sunshine Shelter in Yellow City and being protected would be like lambs enclosed in a cage, never being able to progress for a lifeti.
