Listening to him, Gu Hang fell into thought. He considered these Awakeners as a new type of humanity erging due to the harsh environnt of the apocalypse.
Although it seed now that there weren’t many of them, he believed that as things continued to develop, more Awakeners would gradually appear.
Han Shuang continued, "He already knows the uses of crystals and has traded the information for supplies with other shelters."
"Right, that was inevitable. It was just a matter of finding out sooner or later, no need to dwell on these things," Lin Fan said with a smile, not taking it to heart. If it ant so people would beco more powerful and help clear out Zombies, it was a good thing.
After saying that, he looked at the kids playing not far away.
He quite enjoyed the leisurely monts, as going out to fight zombies always confronted him with grueso sights, like rotting bodies of survivors who had taken their own lives.

But he could imagine the despair they must have felt at the beginning.
"Uncle Lin, I want to eat sausage," Tingting bounced over to Lin Fan’s side, eyeing the boiling hot pot, the fragrant sll almost making her drool.

Lin Fan picked up a slice of sausage and fed it to Tingting, who then, eating the delicious at, bounced back towards the others.
A child’s life is simple like that.
"Xiaofan, do you think Wenwen’s Telekinesis needs to be stimulated?" Gu Hang voiced his speculation.
Lin Fan replied, "You an, like the scenes often depicted in movies where, facing danger and under intense emotions, soone suddenly unleashes telekinetic power?"
"Yes, exactly that."
"I understand, but those situations are just dramatizations in movies. Now it is reality. To force Wenwen to unleash her Telekinesis under such emotions could be harmful to her body. I don’t think it’s advisable. Everything in the world has its process of growth. Forcing it prematurely might not be beneficial."
Lin Fan decided against that suggestion after thinking it over.
He watched Wenwen playing jump rope with the others in the distance, her face always wearing a happy smile. That was already enough for him. There were things he was ready to do himself, without the pressing need for others’ aid, and that certainly didn’t include putting such a burden on a child.
Gu Hang said, "Okay then, let’s not discuss Wenwen’s abilities for now. But as for the survivors living in the shops around here, their numbers are growing. I think we should establish a process, a system for harmonious developnt that will be beneficial for the future."
Lin Fan smiled, "Hangge, you have the experience and knowledge. I’m just good at cutting down zombies. Planning and decision-making are a bit beyond ."
"Haha, Xiaofan, you’re being too modest. But for this matter, we should ask Han Shuang; after all, she used to be a company executive and has her own ideas on this," Gu Hang said, looking towards Han Shuang. The developnt of Sunshine District was related to everyone present, but ensuring its safety was a foundational prerequisite for all developnt efforts.
That’s why Lin Fan’s importance was beyond question.
Like a nuclear weapon, he was the backbone of everyone. It didn’t matter how the residents of Sunshine District went about their business, even if they made mistakes in their approach. With Lin Fan around, there was always the opportunity to correct their course.
