They saw that when the iron stick collided with the iron block, the iron block actually caved in.
"What?"
"It’s that strong?"
Everyone was dumbstruck by the sight before them, feeling bewildered as if they had seen a ghost. It was an iron block, after all. How could human strength possibly cause an iron block to dent like that?
If that strike had hit a zombie’s head, wouldn’t it an that the zombie’s head would explode instantly?
Gu Hang looked at the iron stick in his hand and said, "This isn’t caused by my strength being too great, it’s that this iron stick has truly evolved."
Wang Kai said, "Isn’t this just like the enchantnt in gas, able to unleash extraordinary destructive power, like a critical hit, dealing tons of damage."
A smile appeared on everyone’s faces.
The secret of the crystals had been discovered by them.
Gu Hang said, "Lin Fan, do you rember how many crystals your Frostmourne shattered before evolving to a level that others could not lift?"
This was a very important point.
Lin Fan thought about it and shook his head, "I can’t rember clearly, I’ve killed too many zombies."
Ah Hai looked at Lin Fan with admiration, as one single ’I can’t rember clearly’ brought forth a vision in his mind, that of the true Guardian God walking among the streets of Yellow City, fearlessly killing the zombies others feared. Those seemingly terrifying zombies crumbled like clay before the big brother, not even worth ntioning.
Gu Hang still gently waved the iron stick, "The uses of the crystal energy are many and varied. If we were to imbue it on bullets, the destructive power might beco very strong, dealing lethal blows to the Evolutionary Zombies, but it would only be able to kill Evolutionary Zombies. Using it on regular zombies would really be too wasteful."
Lin Fan said, "Yes, that’s true, but if it can kill Evolutionary Zombies, then the crystal that was used would be worth it, after all, Evolutionary Zombies are really powerful."
Old Mao prayed, "Then can our vehicles absorb crystal energy, too? If my steel beast could beco invincible, no matter what kind of zombies I co across, I could just charge straight through them."
Gu Hang said, "Based on the current situation, we must touch the crystal in order to absorb it. The vehicle can definitely be enhanced, it’s just not clear whether a single Evolutionary Zombie’s crystal could enhance the whole vehicle or just a fixed area, or whether different Evolutionary Zombie crystals contain different amounts of energy?"
At that mont, everyone was deep in thought.
This was the biggest secret they had discovered since the apocalypse. If it had been a long ti ago before they had t Lin Fan, upon discovering the use of the crystals, they would have jumped for joy, shouting that hope had arrived, that they could now contend with the zombies in the post-apocalyptic world.
But now they had t Lin Fan.
Their expectations weren’t that high anymore.
Han Shuang said, "I think it should be related to the surface area of the object."
Gu Hang asked, "Surface area?"
Han Shuang explained, "The energy contained in the crystal is fixed. The larger the surface area of the object it enhances, the weaker the effect will inevitably be, since it’s an overall enhancent and the energy will be dispersed. Of course, this is just my thought, we’ll have to experint to know for sure."
Gu Hang pondered this, thinking Han Shuang’s point made a lot of sense, but as for whether it was really the case, he wasn’t sure. "Lin Fan, could you look for so Evolutionary Zombies in Yellow City during this ti? I want to gather so crystals to experint with."
"Sure, I can," Lin Fan agreed without a second thought.
Everyone continued their efforts in order to stand up to the apocalypse. When material hope appeared, such hope beca even more indestructible. Like sparks starting a prairie fire, it would ultimately beco a heaven-reaching blaze, illuminating the whole world.

Dragon Palace Base.
Training Room.
The Eagle was in contact with Ye Hong, and they were the ace special forces of the military, with physical abilities surpassing others. Currently, there were only two exoskeleton systems, which were the current 1.0 version.
Wearing the equipnt and holding ordinary clubs, they sparred with each other, clanging in collision, sparks flying as though their fight was intense, yet it remained within the normal range for humans.
Their increased movent speed allowed them to act more nimbly.
Professor Xia watched the two fight from the observation room, a satisfied smile on his face, but the more important matter at hand was the need for crystal energy.
Without the crystals, the exoskeleton equipnt was just ordinary gear; an assault by Evolutionary Zombies could result in fatal injuries.
Afterward, Professor Xia linked up with the other two bases via video call.
The matter they discussed was straightforward—first and foremost, there had to be enough crystals. Evolutionary Zombies weren’t easy to find; around their base, especially, such types were rare. They would have to venture out to look for them, a task both dangerous and difficult.
They also needed a production line for the exoskeleton equipnt.
The production lines and materials at the base weren’t adequate for mass production.
Qiuyue said, "Grandfather Xia, we’re currently looking for Evolutionary Zombies outside. That shouldn’t be too much of a problem. As for the production line, we must clear out the zombies to have a perfect one."
Professor Xia said, "Hmm, once we’re sufficiently prepared on our side, we’ll start to clear the zombies from so important locations, get the production lines running. Only then will humanity stand a chance."
The person in charge at Galaxy Base said, "Ah, we’re not doing well here; so far, we’ve only killed one Evolutionary Zombie, and we even misused its crystal during an experint."
Professor Xia said, "No rush, take it slow."
In reality, they all understood the dangers outside, but despite the risk, they had to give it their all. From the beginning to the end, they hadn’t ntioned one thing, that although knowing the use of the crystals was indeed beneficial in enhancing combat capability, it was also true that the zombies were evolving. Their evolution wasn’t any slower than human developnt.
But could they say that?
No, they couldn’t.
Otherwise, it would be like a bucket of cold water being poured down on them, chilling them to the core.
Dawn.
Two armored vehicles left Dragon Palace Base.
The Eagle and Ye Hong were ard, setting out to look for Evolutionary Zombies, accompanied by snipers and other support, hoping for a successful find.
Zombies were hard to find near the base, and any that appeared were eliminated.
They could only search toward the distance.
Huang City.
A tall building.
A voice stood on the rooftop, with feet on the edge, overlooking the streets below in search of any Evolutionary Zombies.
It was ti to get to work.
Suddenly.
A light caught his eye.
He saw it.
An Evolutionary Zombie road the distant streets.
He leaped down and hopped toward where the Evolutionary Zombie was.
