Lin Fan observed the newly-appeared zombie, noting its speed was different from any he had seen before, a significant increase. Ever since the appearance of various evolved zombies, he had co to understand that there were many types of zombies, and these seemingly normal ones had abilities that had been enhanced in different ways.
Da You trembled as the zombie bit him—a sign of turning into a zombie. The infection spread fast. When he was running alongside the zombie, the distance between them grew, proving the effectiveness of the separation.
"Having just been infected, he should be identical to the initial zombies. And this zombie could very well have been wandering around since the onset of the apocalypse, already having undergone evolution."
Lin Fan pondered, paying no attention to the approaching zombie. He thought if those survivors considered the uniquely shaped evolved zombies a disaster, then with the subtle evolution of these seemingly normal zombies—given that many zombies looked like this—it ant... the living conditions for survivors were even more dire.

The two stared at each other for a mont before Lin Fan took them into the law enforcent station. It had been a long ti since he entered, and the surroundings were just as familiar.
He could feel an energy emanating from the place because of Officer Huang’s presence.
It was an energy of punishing evil and upholding justice.

The group of survivors begged for rcy. They were truly frightened.
"Shh, don’t talk. We need to keep quiet here. Talking to is useless; I’m not a cop. I’m just an ordinary person almost hit by your car. I’m the victim," he said.
Lin Fan tied them up.
Efficiently, he went to a desk and detailed the course of events on paper.

Not a cloud was taken with him. He was a righteous civilian who bravely stood up whenever he faced injustice.

The Monitoring Zombie paid no attention.
As Lin Fan drew closer, it backed away. This situation was curious, and as he continued to follow, more zombies began to appear around him. Swinging his Frost Mourning sword, he dispatched these ferocious creatures in the na of justice.
This area had not been visited since the apocalypse began, so it was normal for many zombies to surface here.
A mont later.
He looked toward the entrance ahead, which led to the underground parking garage of a hotel. Many zombies wandered at the entrance, and the Monitoring Zombie, instead of keeping its watch on him, headed into the basent.
"Am I chasing it here, or is it luring here?" Lin Fan wondered. Despite the horde ahead, he was not afraid—zombies were nothing to him. What he couldn’t figure out was what the Monitoring Zombie was trying to achieve.

Like a pervert following a girl.
"Huh, Officer Huang?"
He saw a familiar figure among the group of zombies in the distance. No, that was wrong. Although the figure was in uniform, it wasn’t the Officer Huang he knew—it must be soone else.
