"So many ssages?"
He Qing flipped through the group ssages. There were just too many to realistically read them all.
He browsed through roughly.
Most of the ssages were from people who had beco Awakeners, sharing their personal changes.
"My ability seems to be control."
Looking at the introductions in the group and recalling the description of awakening abilities in the "Zombie Album," he reflected on his current situation. He could definitely confirm that his awakened ability was indeed control.
If he were sowhere else, he could imdiately verify if he was a Control Awakener.
But here in the Sunshine Shelter, who would he find to verify it, other than Dongdong? As for Xiaoshen, don’t even think about it. Just by looking at his build, you can tell he’s a boss among bosses, definitely not useful.
Then he thought, what if Lin Fan ended up clearing out all the zombies in the future, wouldn’t his control ability just be for show?
Damn!
Thinking of this, He Qing felt a slight sadness.
A ssage ca in the group, soone @ntioned him.
Zhou Yang: "@He Qing, Master He worked hard last night, are you awake now, have you beco an Awakener?"
Seeing Zhou Yang specifically @ntion him, He Qing didn’t reply imdiately. He knew ever since Zhou Yang beca the prison governor, he’d been over the moon.
He Qing’s fingers clattered on the phone keys, paused, deleted the words he typed, and decided to ignore him. The control ability wasn’t anything worth showing off.
Wang Nan said, "Zhou Yang’s calling you in the group, you’re not replying?"
"Don’t feel like replying to him."
He Qing got up, didn’t even have breakfast, hurriedly left the house, and closed the door with a bang.
A few minutes later.
He Qing rushed back, looking dispirited.
"Did you go donate a kidney or sothing, why’s your face so pale?" Wang Nan asked in shock at He Qing’s appearance. It would confuse anyone who saw this; he left just fine and ca back looking like this.
"Don’t ask, I just went to find Dongdong, let’s not talk about it for now. I need a break first."
He Qing laid straight on the bed with no thoughts in his mind. When he first saw Dongdong, he told him not to get excited and said, "Let control you for a bit," and then he felt ntally drained, his legs weak, almost collapsing.
...
"Gu Hang, don’t worry too much about this, whether you beco an Awakener or not doesn’t matter."
Lin Fan was comforting Gu Hang, who once again failed to awaken despite his hopes. Lin Fan understood how it felt; it certainly wasn’t pleasant.
Gu Hang pretended to be in a good mood, "No worries, I really don’t mind. I haven’t focused on whether I awaken or not, trust ."
"Really?" Lin Fan showed so doubt.
"Of course, it’s true."
Hearing this response, Lin Fan took out his phone and checked the ti, "Gu Hang, it’s now 6:30 in the morning. So, did you co to see for sothing?"
He didn’t expose Gu Hang’s real feelings.
He surely felt terrible.
Gu Hang said, "Nothing really, just ca to see you. I heard from Lao Shen that after his son went through the thunderstorm last night, he experienced so changes, maybe he evolved."
"Oh, really? That’s really sothing to be happy about." Lin Fan fully cooperated with Gu Hang, chatting about topics he wanted to discuss.
Thinking about the changes brought by the thunderstorm, Gu Hang said slowly, "I wonder how things are outside; surely the remaining zombies have evolved too, given the scale of last night’s storm, it seed unusual."
"Don’t worry, no matter how the zombies outside evolve, the final outco won’t change."
"Yeah, I’m confident about that."
Gu Hang just wanted to chat about sothing to ease his restless mind. As for what zombies would evolve into, he never worried, as Lin Fan would handle everything.
After chatting for a bit, Gu Hang left under the pretense of having to patrol.
Nowadays, Huang City didn’t really need patrolling, but everyone staying in Huang City felt a bit uneasy just resting every day, so even if so tasks were unnecessary, they were still carried out.
In the streets.
Wang Kai sat there with a line of people in front of him, registering in an orderly fashion.
"What are you doing?"
Lin Fan walked over and asked.
The crowd waiting to register saw Lin Fan approaching.
"Lin Bro."
"Lin Bro..."
They all greeted him warmly.
"Hello." Lin Fan responded with a smiling face.
Wang Kai stood up and said, "Lin Bro, these are the Awakeners who appeared after last night’s thunderstorm. I’m just registering their abilities."
Lin Fan carefully counted, surprised to see over twenty Awakeners. This rate was quite high.
"Oh, have there been abilities similar to Tutu and Wenwen’s?"
He knew such abilities were rare and hard to co by.
Wang Kai shook his head and said, "Just so commonly appearing abilities."
"Alright, after registering, they can pick up so crystals to enhance their ability stage, which aids in improving physical quality," Lin Fan said.
Now, the number of crystals at the Sunshine Shelter was abundant, piled up like small mountains.
Especially since Wang Qitian had been relentlessly drawing hordes of zombies, causing the number of crystals to skyrocket, impossible to consu completely.
The newly awakened individuals were greatly interested in enhancing their abilities.
It’s like getting a new toy; although it’s an old product, I’ve never played with it, so the interest is high.
