"Mom, I’m starving, when will it be ready?"
Feifei sat at the table, waiting for the al, eagerly looking towards the kitchen, urging her mom who was busy inside.
In the post-apocalyptic world, compared to other kids, Feifei was indeed fortunate; many had lost their parents, but Feifei still had a loving mother.

"I’m not, that’s what the book says." Feifei sat there, swinging her feet, eagerly waiting for the special al her mom made for her.
Li i brought out the dishes with both hands, the delicious aroma instantly spreading.
"Wow, pickled fish, and it’s my favorite tomato flavor." Feifei’s nose was very sensitive, as soon as she slled it, her mouth started to water.
Li i said, "I heard at the matchmaking event this afternoon, you and Tingting stirred up quite a fuss."
Feifei blinked her eyes, looking innocent, "Really? I didn’t."
Li i looked at her daughter, a clever little one. She had heard that Feifei and Tingting even prepared personal resus to compete with the girls who liked Xiaofan, causing a scene.
"You must know yourself, Uncle Lin bought you those test papers, you need to finish them seriously, he cares about your studies." Li i said.

Li i went to open the door.

It’s customary for Chinese people to ask if you’ve eaten as a greeting, as it’s ingrained in their culture because past generations knew the feeling of hunger.

Li i shouted toward the dining table at Feifei, "Feifei, Sister Yan is here to see you, why don’t you quickly invite her in?"

Suddenly.
Feifei’s crafty eyes caught sight of the black bag in Yan Nini’s hand, a bad feeling ca over her, praying in her heart it wasn’t what she thought.
Yan Nini took off her shoes, put on slippers, and smiled at Feifei.
Feifei found this smile very beautiful, but sohow felt there’s a bit of an unusual emotion in it.
"Hi Feifei," Yan Nini said.
"Hi, Sister Yan."
Feifei responded obediently and politely.
Li i went to the kitchen to get tableware for Yan Nini, then ca out and handed them to her.
"Thank you, Sister Li."

"No, this is already wonderful."
Yan Nini knew Sister Li’s cooking skills, having such delicious food in the post-apocalyptic world was indeed a blessing.
Li i said, "How did the matchmaking event go today?"

"Feifei, although Sister Yan is a dance teacher, Teacher Qiu is pregnant and needs to rest at ho, so I will be taking over as the class teacher. You need to complete one test paper every day and bring it the next day, and I will check it for you."
