We’ve already been discovered.
A feeling of panic and unease entangled their hearts.
"Soone, save us." The driver wailed, trembling with his legs caught in the tree, his pants slightly damp, already scared to the point of peeing himself.
Though he had survived for a long ti in the apocalypse and had seen quite a few zombies, those zombies never interacted much with him. As soon as he saw them from a distance, he would already run off and disappear without a trace.
But now, the zombies were right below, with no way out. How could it not be terrifying?
The other two survivors were no better off, with their hearts pounding rapidly. They were truly scared. They had seen zombies biting people, and it was truly cruel. Opening their mouths, they would take a bite, blood splattering everywhere, sending chills down their spine.
At this mont, the chubby guy carried on Officer Huang’s shoulder heard the terrified screams of his companions and secretly laughed to himself, knowing they were scared out of their wits.
He thought about continuing to play dead, but reconsidered. There was no need to tease them; they were already so high up. If they accidentally fell from the trees, it would definitely be dangerous.
"It’s , it’s . Don’t be afraid. This officer won’t harm us," the chubby guy quickly shouted.
The three up in the tree were clearly dumbfounded, in disbelief.
Who was speaking just now?

Their gazes all simultaneously fell on the chubby guy.
They saw the chubby guy get down from the zombie’s shoulder and wave at them up in the tree.
"It’s okay, co down. Things aren’t what you think. This officer is indeed a zombie, but he’s a good one."
The chubby guy saw them up in the tree and felt helpless. What imaginative companions, thinking climbing up a tree was wise. No way would he ever do such a thing. He’d definitely find the safest cave to hide in.
The three companions looked at each other, unsure whether to trust the chubby guy.
However, judging from the current situation, it seed trustworthy.
Sigh!
Without much thought, they couldn’t hold on much longer and slowly retreated from the tree to the ground. Once on the ground, they didn’t dare get close or speak, instead cautiously observing, dreading the thought of the zombie in front suddenly going berserk and pouncing on them. That scene was truly unthinkable.
Officer Huang looked at the three. "I won’t harm you."
Hearing the zombie speak left the three stunned. They’d never seen a zombie take the initiative to speak before. It was a significant shock to their understanding.
At the sa ti, they seed to believe what the chubby guy said. It did seem like this zombie was different from others.
"Did you pee your pants?" The chubby guy noticed the driver’s damp pants and exclaid in shock, "You didn’t really get scared and pee yourself, did you?"
The driver hastily covered up, saying, "What are you talking about? I just fell into a puddle while escaping."
Could he admit that he really peed himself from fear?
Definitely not. Others might not care about face, but he did. If word got out, wouldn’t it be truly shaful?
"Oh, I see."
The chubby guy gave an understanding look, knowing that an explanation is a cover-up and a cover-up ans the truth. He got the idea and let the matter drop.
Seeing the chubby guy’s look of disbelief, the driver felt ntally pained. How could soone his age not understand simple social norms?
"Chubby, what’s going on here?" the driver asked curiously.
The chubby guy explained the situation in detail.
A truly miraculous event.
If not seen with their own eyes, it would be unbelievable.
"So that’s it, we’ve truly hit the jackpot."
"I never expected to encounter such a zombie. Why were all the zombies we’ve t before so brutal?"
They sighed.
Their wariness of the zombie in front of them diminished to an extre. If the zombie wanted to eat them, there was no need to delay. It could have just bitten them right away, and they knew they couldn’t hold out.
The scene was slightly quiet now.
They didn’t know how to communicate with the zombie, and Officer Huang stayed silent, causing the four survivors slight discomfort. They kept thinking about what to do next.
"Have you read the ’Zombie Album’?" Officer Huang asked. He now spoke smoothly, without seeing his face, and only listening to his voice, who would think it was a zombie speaking?
They exchanged glances and shook their heads in sync.
"No, we haven’t."
"The Sunshine Shelter in Yellow City is a safe place," Officer Huang said.
They didn’t know what the Sunshine Shelter was, but they knew Yellow City was a beautiful, huge city, though a bit far. They’d even visited it for tourism before. Things were expensive, and the girls on the streets were also very pretty.
That was all they rembered.
The chubby guy said, "We’re willing to go there."
The chubby guy was clever. Hearing Officer Huang ntion the place, he knew it had to be the safest spot. There was no need to think twice about it; they had to go there.
"There was a satellite phone to contact them, but it got damaged during a fight with zombies and is no longer usable," Officer Huang said.
The chubby guy and his companions blinked. As expected, surviving to this point ant being the protagonist of an apocalypse with identical experiences. It certainly wouldn’t be smooth sailing and had to co with so setbacks.
