Upon leaving the bottomless pit, not only Olivia but also the whole party got struck by the silence. Looking at the whole floor crumbling like that was a different and totally foreign feeling.
It felt like an existence out of the world pillar descended to bring the chaos, but the one who did it was clearly seen by them and his smile slowly appeared within everyone, except Xaya, minds.
So how did the whole destruction look like?
It was like darkness barging its deathly grasp everywhere. Black clouds lood over the horizon already and one could see those getting denser and wider. A gloomy and thick black aura expanded in every direction while eating everything on its way.
What happened was obviously opposite, though. Everything was crumbling because of lack of supporting energies that were now mostly in Venes' hands.
"Can we even step on the ground?"
"We can."
The ground was likewise dark and drought. It looked fragile and every person who glanced at it felt like stepping on it would make it crack and possibly fell into an unknown void! But the real void was deep below and so everyone just needed to find a calm place to go to other floors.
The bottomless pit's surroundings were far from calm as it reminded of Venes' and his powers.
Kyoya and his party decided to just sprint a few ters away from this place and then return from this chaos. It was unknown whether the chaos here could reach other floors such as 22nd or 24th ones, but residents surely have already scattered across various others floors, possibly even Ascended Kingdoms, so the news should've reached others by now.
"Since Miss Olivia's mission included floors from 20th to 25th, we should expect so adventurers and people from Naranaska Kingdom to already escape from this place and inform them about this phenonon. We shouldn't waste our ti here!"
"Yes, the husband."

Olivia was still bothered by Kyoya's attitude, but she was glad he told her what was going on in Naranaska Kingdom, her ho. She didn't want to cause any more problems and wanted to return before her father dispatched powerful fox force to this place.

What was expected to be the triumphant return quickly turned to be sothing more serious and bizzare.
The husband's party actually found themselves in a plight, mainly the husband.
It was because upon the return, Kyoya actually got exposed to the highest foxes' pressure and since it was an ascended kingdom the husband had no way to even fight it. He was far from this level.
But more than anything, the question had to be asked, "What did I do?"
He asked despite the pressure, surprising the foxes with four tails. The number of tails was equivalent to the foxes' status and the more one had the better and stronger. Those tails just wavered once, exactly now.
Then, those returned to sway confidently within their territory.
"The house you had been living here in our tribe released an unknown and suspicious influence that was lethal to our people."
"What?"
"There is no mistake that your house is the source of this, so you have to bear with us for now. As for your party, our patriarch has already prepared houses for them to stay in."
There weren't many prisons in this world.
It was mainly because if soone committed a cri, death was the only answer. People continued to face off with their lives on the lines, so was it really surprising? The husband didn't think that much, but he was glad that his party could escape this pressure.
Of course, his wife thought otherwise.
"I am staying with my husband!"

No matter how much tantrum Xaya threw, the fox just used his strength to send her away from Kyoya! Her eyes and aura didn't impress him at all, though he was shocked to see her being able to move and speak so freely under pressure.
It went without saying that the husband and his wife were indeed powerful and unique people.
But the reason why Kyoya was still alive was solely because he brought Olivia with himself and she supported him. Kyoya's confusion also made the foxes question this whole situation, but they needed to check everything.
"Xaya, just calm down and go. The patriarch surely prepared a good place for you, so wait for ."

Kyoya spoke half-jokingly which was a way to calm his trembling heart. He was in the foxes' clutches right now without any way of leaving, so it was natural for him to feel more troubled than before.
There was also nothing that would possibly help him, such as a place filled with various trickster gods' energies…
"We have already dealt with this influence and managed to get samples. For now, we have to test whether this energy reacts to you. This will be the first step in your case."
The fox spoke to the human who just nodded.
It was good that Kyoya was calr than his wife and just listened to others. It wasn't like the foxes were holding him tightly and actually dug their nails into his skin, so Kyoya was all good.
He found himself before his house in Naranaska Kingdom, then raised his eyes.
'There is sothing… familiar here? What... No, wait a second… Doesn't it an?'
"This energy reacts to you."

The husband imdiately distorted his face. His confusion grew deeper and it was also written within his eyes that were looking at the house from the street.
As beasts were often liable to feelings and easily could feel and rely on those, the foxes could see that Kyoya's heart was one big sack of confusion right now.
They glanced at each other, then decided to just take him to the patriarch.
However, foxes from the neighboring houses began to slowly leave their houses.
"It's not the husband… I am sure of it!"
"If it were him, then he wouldn't return and bring the patriarch's daughter with himself!"
"It's so obvious yet you are treating him so harshly! Let him go!"
"Calm down, Misses. I am just holding his arm lighty…"
The high fox nearly swapped places with Kyoya when it ca to the confusion.
All who spoke up for Kyoya were fox won who had yet to find n as their second half. Those won were nearly heart-broken after looking at the husband's pained expression and imdiately spoke out for him.
That was.. the husband's effect!
For a second, Kyoya believed that he sohow used his Trickster God's abilities for these poor won, but all of them had three tails, so it wasn't like they were weak won at all! Those won wouldn't get so easily swayed by his powers, even more after this evil influence touched them!
'Since this energy reacted to … I am getting targeted by the trickster gods' believers? So The New Kingdom? But why? Keria? I only know her, but wasn't she around my strength?'
Not too long ago, Goddess Fiana visited those trickster gods and the divine ssage has been passed to the trickster gods' believers!
The husband was left alone complaining while the high foxes began to argue with each other.
"Look! He has no traces! Just look at his arm, Misses!"
