The guardian's body exploded with strength as he turned into half-human.
He got faster and could fly smoothly in this area filled with ice, so it was already a good show of his strength. His wings were unrestrained by the coldness around them, but it was even more for his strong bird's legs.
"I will just get rid of the obstacle!"
As he got rid of any consideration towards Kyoya, the guardian just exploded with power and rushed at him. He was confident in his raw abilities, but the thought of immortality was always behind his every action.
This led the guardian to beco a little masochistic and this word beca the hated word in his dictionary.
Reckless as ever, the guardian's feet swept through Kyoya.
"Hmmm!"
However, the avatar was what got destroyed.
Since Kyoya's presence didn't vanish wholly, the guardian's beak took a small turn and the battle continued. Sparks flashed and the two n engaged in heavy, but fast confrontation!
This was the first ti Kyoya fought the guardian and he found that death energy to be sowhat interesting. It strengthened their bodies well and was like a prestigious power that mixed with the race!
So Kyoya wanted to get a little of it to help Noe, but he also knew that she was going at the guardians below right now!

"Have you guys also been under an attack?"
Noe closed up distance with one of the guardian's family mbers, then separated him from the invader. Of course, the cool guy didn't mind it all and just allowed two of them to 'speak'.
Everyone here spoke with weapons, so Noe first had to move a lot with her scythe. She sustained so wounds, but her words managed to reach the guardian's family mber.
"This energy. No wonder it was familiar. You must be from the guardian family too, albeit, the lower floor."
As the lady from the guardian's family realized what Noe actually wielded, she slowed down and stopped fighting. Her eyes then deeply looked at Noe.
"You guys too?"
"Yes…"
What Noe feared actually turned out to be true. The whole guardian families were under an attack and it ant that those from the ascended kingdom wouldn't stop before completely getting rid of them.
This alone made Noe nervous and unable to speak further.
Fortunately, the enemy didn't react to this and her eyes just lingered on Noe. She was also thinking about the sa, but the whole purpose of this irregular beast hunt was to get stronger and create sothing similar to immortality.
Though it felt naive, everyone believed that the irregular concept would create sothing similar, for example the montary or immortal 'mode' concept for like five minutes. This was highly important for the guardian family from the 19th floor because they were ready to give up on the guardian status to save themselves.
But, they were unable to give up on immortality. This kind of insurance and battle style was deeply etched within them. The guardian family did their best to keep their status and even got the special technique to live on the irregular ocean!
Things seed really good for them and their lineage, but the ascended kingdom's assassins began to assault them with clear goals in mind.
And then, the ice invaders stepped in with their plan… As this was like saving grace for them, the guardian family just put everything on the irregular beast's and its eye. They were not confident to restrain it forever, but with an eye, they could leave and escape sowhere then begin the new 'project'.
"What do you know about them?"
"Nothing much. They never really stepped into our house, but they often played hunter gas. We were the little pigs they just loved to hunt."
"That's… awfully similar."
"Their goal might be to weaken us and then let their own family take over our spot. I wonder what would happen if one family controlled the whole one hundred floors?"
"..."
This sounded so absurd, but also mighty that Noe didn't know what to say. She just kept her defenses high to not get any surprise attack from the guardian's people or the invaders, then her mind wandered lost in thought.
As the other lady also felt like that, both of them just stood in considerable distance!
However, there was a sudden change that made the lady tremble.
"U-uncle?"
She looked towards her uncle whose body fell onto the ground heavily.
His whole body was burnt by the huge explosion from the husband's cards, but there was also a deep cut on his chest. This cut was made by the execution skill that boasted the highest damage output!
All of this was amazing, but the guardian was shivering with fear.
He just felt death.
A genuine feeling of demise swept through him. He barely could move as it was cold, sweaty and just unique.
In his case, too unique and forgotten…
"W-what the… What are you… W-what is going on… This knife… What is this knife?"
The guardian didn't even shout, but just kept his eyes on Kyoya's weapon that brought all this fear. He believed that Kyoya's weapon was the reason for golden-red light, but it was the husband's pure strength!
Not like Kyoya was feeling like answering.
Since this guy was problematic and ready to wound the beast, Kyoya set himself on killing him and allowing his family to escape.
As the guardian family was beyond shocked to see their family head speaking about the death, they didn't move an inch and just looked at what was happening.
Soon, Kyoya's execution skill got utilized for the second ti.
He appeared behind the guardian, his cold ghost body emphasizing the feeling of death within him.
Then, Kyoya's knife smoothly went around the guardian's neck, beheading him in the process. His knife just brought up a thin streak of blood that landed 'loudly' on the ground.
So easy, so swiftly, so unbelievable…
"Father?"
"Uncle?"
As the head rolled on the ground, the various mbers asked out loud. But the opened eyes never closed nor moved and the body also seed as if it had lost all its life. It hit the ground with a loud bang, then the rolling head stopped at the guardian's daughter.
She took a step back and confird the death.
"F-father is… dead? W-what? Why? No… no…"
"A person that can kill… an immortal?"
"..."
"Don't look at like that, please."
Kyoya just narrowed his eyes a little, his lips curling up.
"My wife can do the sa."
And this smile laughed on its own.
