Akaro just closed her eyes after the husband's words, then proposed sothing weird. The contract just felt stiff and unnecessary as Kyoya felt close with Akaro. She was his goddess. A goddess that he could be close with.
But Akaro was persistent and didn't allow the couple to stop her.
She just briefly said.
"If you both die, then this contract will kill as well."

At this stage, Akaro would die after Kyoya and Xiaoxiao died naturally. It was because of the attachnt and her status. However, the divine layer was used for her body. She would grow in strength and beco more independent.
At so point, Akaro wouldn't need any attachnt to stay on her own as she would be a different living being than the goddess she was. The reason for her existence and separation was exactly the husband and Xiaoxiao, so she didn't even feel like living without them.
And for a person with more than million years of life experience as goddess, Akaro simply wouldn't be able to kill herself.

Kyoya could guess what was on Akaro's mind, but he didn't exactly understand her feelings. She was an old goddess with probably million years of experience, so so things might be too hard to change! That was why the husband boldly refused this contract and just spoke about different topics.
"Xiaoxiao got a technique to create equipnt. I think the guardian spirit should make things easier for her."
