"Yes it is special, this was this masters wife's ho before"
not giving them a chance to digest the news, Sebastian imdiately dropped another bomb
"You might not know this, but lord Reinhardt's wife is actually a human!"
As he said this, the whole crowd was stunned, after all, it was their first ti hearing of a human marrying an orc
seeing their shock, a look of satisfaction appeared on his face. After all, he too was shocked when he found out his master would be marrying a human.
After giving them. few minutes to digest the shock, he continues speaking
"Yes, you heard it right, human."
"As you may or may not know, most races in Elias look down on the human race"
hearing the words of Sebastian, everyone couldn't help but think of their experience at the arena today.
Although everyone seed friendly however whenever they looked at them they could always feel a deep sense of disdain in their eyes, however, everyone didn't take it seriously as they thought it was because they were newcors to the town.
"Umm.. sorry for the interruption, don't an to be rude or anything but why would they look down on us?"
it was Harris among the tribesn who couldn't help but ask.
Hearing the question, everyone but Elric who already knew the answer couldn't help but have a curious look on their face, after all, they had lived in a small tribe all their lives, and they had never experienced anything such as discrimination against humans
However, Sebastian didn't take it seriously but rather asked them a simple question back.
"The question is, why wouldn't they look down on you?"
"Can you humans fly like the Angel race?"
"Are you humans as strong as the orc race?"
"Do you humans have as much charm as the fox man race?"
"Are you humans as brave as the lion-man race?"
"Frankly, it's no wonder that humans are normally referred to as sacks of at and bones with legs"
As he spoke the faces on each of them began to beco darker as he listened thankfully Sebastian was quick to notice and quickly brought the topic back on track
"Back then it happened just after lord Reinhardt and I had just arrived in town"
"After a few days of setting up business, we happened to et her on the way back ho after attending the days' etings"
"Oh yes, I rember back then the master would always return with a smile after speaking to her, or how he'd get angry when he heard townsn say bad things about her"
As he spoke a light smile appeared on his as he the storyteller seed to be engrossed in his mories.
"soon a few years passed and they got happily married, a few years later the young lady Aoma was born"
"What followed next were good tis, unfortunately, the good tis never last."
"Apart from leaving behind a note that said 'they' were after her, and 'they' were coming,"
"Although we couldn't find out who the 'they' were, it was obvious that she had already left"
"After days of searching the town, and finally realising that there was no hope of finding her, lord Reinhardt decisively called off the search and closed off her ho Incase she ever returns"
"That's why I was so shocked when he offered to let you stay there"
After waiting for a while and seeing there was no follow-up story, the whole group went silent trying to digest the new information.
Soon ti passed, and before they knew it they had already arrived at a sowhat rustic building at the top of a hill just a bit outside town.
"We're here!"
"I guess this is where we part, however, if you ever need anything, feel free to report it."
Saying this with a slight bow, he took Aoma's hand and walked away.
"Thanks, Sebastian!
"See you later Miss Aoma!"
watching the back of the two of them get farther and farther, it was then they all reacted. with Elric as the lead, they all shouted at the top of their lungs to the ever-fading figures.
After making sure they had gone, bursting with excitent Goerge and Davis couldn't help but speak up at the sa ti!
"So this is where we'll be staying?"
"Are we going to be living here?"
Thankfully given its huge size, it was more than large enough to house every one of them at the sa ti.
With no sense of hesitation, they walked into their new ho, only Elric waited for a bit before entering as he suddenly had a thoughtful look on his face
Stepping into the house, a sense of wonder filled them as they were shaken by the sight before them.
Different from the rustic appearance outside, the interior was truly a sight to behold with various paintings hung on each side of the wall, a large chandelier dangling from the centre of the roof, and a large animal pelt serving as a centrepiece. the whole interior had an aristocratic yet comfy feeling
*Ahem!*
A cough from Elric brought back the stunned crowd's attention.
"Davis, George you lead the others to pick a room, I have sothing to do"
Not giving the both of them a chance to react, he briskly walked towards the depth of the building
"..."
With Elric's exit, all that was left was a stunned crowd, no one expecting him to leave as soon as they got into the building.
"Um... George, where do you think the young master's going?"
trying to ease the atmosphere, Davis tried to strike up a conversation with George unfortunately he was t with a sowhat sarcastic reply
"How would I know? However, since the young master said it's up to us to listen, now let's go pick our rooms. rember to leave the biggest room for the young master"
Rolling his eyes at Davis, George quickly led the rest of them to go pick their rooms.
....
ELRIC POV
A few minutes after separating from everyone, Elric stood in front of a darker red door with a sowhat pensive expression on his face.
"A.I. chip, are you sure it's here"
[yes host! Judging from the radiation emitted from behind this door has a 70% similarity to the mana crystal recorded in the cave earlier]
Apparently, as soon as they entered the building, the A.I. chip had detected a familiar aura being emitted from deep within, due to this, he decisively went to investigate the matter even ignoring George and Davis in the process.
However, unlike back in the cave, Elric felt a huge pressure as he stood in front of the door, it felt like a huge beast was standing directly in front of him ready to tear him apart.
"A.I. chip what are the chances of encountering danger down there?"
feeling dangerous, he could've helped but pon his hope on the A.I. Chip, unfortunately, was sadly disappointed.
[beep! lack of information, unable to judge]
Hearing the A.I. chip's response, He knew that the A.I. chip was useless in this situation.
"Sigh... I guess it's all up to then"
Steeling himself, he slowly opened the door
