Chapter 208: Conqueror's Haki Infusion? Luffy's Shocking Display

"Ace!!"

Luffy shouted as he flew toward the execution platform.

This reckless guy only had eyes for Ace, completely oblivious to the many pairs of eyes fixed on him at that mont.

As the first pirate to break into the plaza, Luffy naturally received a fiery welco.

Although most people on the plaza couldn't fly, there was no shortage of experts capable of attacking him.

Buzz!

A blade's gleam suddenly shot up from the ground, slicing through the air and heading straight for the approaching Luffy.

Luffy, whose Observation Haki had grown considerably, instantly sensed the danger of the attack and changed his course to dodge it. However, his flight was interrupted.

Whoosh!

The blade gleam sliced past Luffy, continuing upward into the sky, lingering for a long ti before fading.

This alone demonstrated the terrifying strength of the one who launched the attack.

Suspended mid-air, Luffy quickly looked down and saw a man on the city wall wielding the fad sword, Yoru.

The man's hawk-like eyes were locked on Luffy.

Luffy instantly recognized him: none other than Dracule Mihawk, the "World's Greatest Swordsman" and a powerhouse among the Shichibukai.

He even knew Mihawk would eventually beco his crewmate Zoro's ntor.

"Mihawk! I'm here to rescue Ace! Don't block my way!"

Luffy shouted in frustration.

Of course, Mihawk wasn't about to let him pass.

Luffy's flight path happened to pass directly overhead. Letting him go would be far too conspicuous.

"If you want to pass , you'll have to prove your strength," Mihawk said calmly.

Luffy was about to respond when suddenly—

A deep voice rang out:

"One-Sword Style—Quick Draw: Black Blade—Death—Lion's Song!"

Whoosh!

A shadow shot out from the distance, slamming into Mihawk and slashing at him with a blade.

Mihawk's pupils contracted as he raised his sword to block the attack.

Clang!

A sharp collision resounded.

The city wall beneath Mihawk's feet crumbled under the impact.

Nearby Marine soldiers were caught in the destruction, their screams echoing as they were thrown aside.

As the dust cleared, Zoro stood gripping a black blade, pressing it firmly against Mihawk's sword. The two were locked in a battle of strength.

"Luffy! Leave this to !"

Zoro shouted to Luffy before focusing on Mihawk with a smile. "Sensei, your opponent is !"

"Sensei?"

Mihawk looked montarily stunned.

In mid-air, Luffy laughed heartily at the sight and cheerfully resud his flight toward the execution platform, his feet propelling him like jets.

Not far away, Boa Hancock's longing gaze practically bored into him, but Luffy didn't even glance in her direction.

"I don't recall having a disciple like you," Mihawk said, his expression serious. "And more importantly, I don't consider you strong enough to be my opponent."

Zoro didn't bother explaining. He simply grinned and said, "From here on, I'll show you my strongest swordsmanship. Sensei, please bear witness!"

With that, Zoro leaped back, drawing two more swords—one in his left hand, the other clenched between his teeth.

Facing a foe like Mihawk, he knew he had to go all out.

"Three-Sword Style, huh?"

Mihawk's expression grew even more solemn.

Through his Observation Haki, he could sense the imnse energy coursing through the young swordsman's body.

"Three-Sword Style: Ultimate—Tiger Hunt!"

Zoro roared, his aura surging around him.

The next mont, a powerful wave of sword energy burst from his blades, cutting through the air toward Mihawk.

Mihawk didn't dare take it lightly and struck back with a clean, effortless swing, shattering the wave of energy.

But that attack was rely a feint.

"King of Hell: Three-Sword Style—Infernal Ghost Slash!!"

Zoro roared again, charging toward Mihawk like a lightning bolt.

At the sa ti, all three of his swords beca cloaked in Armant Haki, their edges shimring with deadly precision.

He slashed at Mihawk from three angles, leaving him with almost no room to dodge.

This move was one of the ultimate techniques Zoro had developed to defeat King of the Beasts Pirates.

Among the onlookers, several powerful figures were visibly stunned by Zoro's attack.

Even Vista, the "Flower Sword" of the Whitebeard Pirates, was taken aback.

As a master swordsman himself, he realized that if this move were directed at him, his only option would be to dodge—he wouldn't be able to counter it head-on.

In a duel between swordsn, having to dodge often signified a loss.

Faced with Zoro's ultimate technique, Mihawk's expression remained calm, though his eyes were filled with a weighty seriousness.

At that mont, Mihawk regarded Zoro with the utmost focus, preparing to et his charge head-on.

Suddenly, Mihawk seized an opportunity and struck with a swift, precise thrust of his blade.

Clang!

The crisp sound of tal clashing rang out again.

Mihawk had managed to directly counter Zoro's ultimate move. With a single blade, he skillfully positioned it at just the right angle to intercept all three of Zoro's swords, halting the attack completely.

This demonstrated Mihawk's terrifying precision and mastery of timing.

Zoro's expression shifted as he leapt back to reset his stance.

"As expected, against soone like you, taking shortcuts won't work at all," Zoro admitted.

Mihawk, however, did not gloat.

Looking at Zoro, he spoke seriously:

"I've seen you before, Pirate Hunter Zoro. I didn't expect that in such a short ti, you'd grow to this extent."

"You've beco a true swordsman, worthy of using my full strength."

With those words, Mihawk spun his oversized Yoru in a flourish, the blade flashing brilliantly. He then held the sword horizontally in front of him, assuming an aggressive stance.

This stance was sothing Mihawk only displayed when facing the likes of Red-Haired Shanks in the New World.

Zoro, instead of feeling fear, was exhilarated. He had been waiting for this mont for a long ti.

The battle between Zoro and Mihawk officially began.

The sound of clashing blades echoed across the plaza, with dazzling sword lights flying in every direction.

Unlucky Marine soldiers caught in the crossfire were instantly killed.

The onlookers were stunned as they watched Zoro hold his ground against Mihawk, exchanging blows on equal footing.

"Who is that young swordsman? How can he go toe-to-toe with Mihawk in swordsmanship?"

"What terrifying swordsmanship..."

"A warrior like that can't be unknown."

"I've heard of him. They say he's a Pirate Hunter. But the one I heard about was just a rookie—there's no way he had this level of skill."

At this mont, many powerful figures in the plaza turned their attention to Zoro. His performance was too shocking to ignore.

This level of swordsmanship rivaled that of the Vice-Admirals under the Yonko.

anwhile, Luffy was nearing the execution platform.

Seeing this, a strong Marine couldn't resist making a move.

"White Fist!"

A fist imbued with Armant Haki flew toward Luffy, trailing a long stream of white smoke like a missile.

This attack could only have co from "Smoker," the White Hunter.

Smoker had always viewed Luffy as his rival. Seeing Luffy arrogantly flying across the battlefield, he couldn't let him pass unchallenged.

At the sa ti, Smoker couldn't shake the strange feeling that this Luffy was far stronger than the one he had faced before.

"Huh?"

Seeing Smoker's attack coming, Luffy casually swatted the fist aside with one hand.

He didn't even spare Smoker a glance, continuing forward.

However, Smoker quickly transford into a cloud of smoke, blocking Luffy's path once more.

Luffy frowned and shouted, "Smoker! Don't stop from saving Ace!"

Of course, Luffy rembered this Marine who had pursued him in the past.

Smoker, on the other hand, stared at Luffy in shock.

He could clearly see that the black covering Luffy's body was pure Armant Haki.

"How did that Straw Hat kid master such powerful Armant Haki in such a short ti?" Smoker muttered, his voice heavy with disbelief.

"Whatever happened to you, I don't care," Smoker said, biting down on his cigar. "But I won't let you pass."

Seeing Smoker's determined expression, Luffy knew he was serious.

"Then don't bla !"

With that, Luffy threw a punch at Smoker.

The punch was blindingly fast.

Smoker didn't even have ti to use his Logia ability to dodge and had to block with his Seastone weapon.

At that mont, sothing strange occurred.

Luffy's fist stopped just short of making contact with Smoker's weapon.

Between the fist and the weapon, a small black sphere appeared, resembling a miniature black hole, surrounded by crackling lightning.

Crack!

A sharp sound rang out.

Smoker's body convulsed as if struck by lightning. His entire body bent unnaturally before he was sent flying backward.

Blood poured from his mouth as he soared through the air. By the ti he hit the ground, his eyes were glazed over, and he had completely lost consciousness.

With a single punch, Luffy had severely injured the renowned "White Hunter" Smoker, leaving his life or death uncertain.

What was even more bizarre was that Luffy's punch hadn't physically connected with Smoker, yet the impact was devastating.

"Luffy-sensei has beco so strong?" Coby gasped, his face pale with shock.

Beside him, Helppo stamred, "What just happened? Straw Hat's punch didn't even hit Smoker, so how did he send him flying?"

The sa question was on the minds of countless spectators.

Only the strongest fighters present understood what had occurred.

After witnessing Luffy's punch, all the top-tier combatants on the battlefield were shaken.

"That's..." Fleet Admiral Sengoku exclaid in shock. "Conqueror's Haki Infusion?"

Admiral Akainu suddenly stood up, his face dark with concern.

Even Whitebeard's expression turned grave as he regarded Luffy with a newfound seriousness.

anwhile, Marine Hero Garp was left completely dumbfounded.

"That brat... is that really my grandson Luffy?"
