In the years to co, when children study this segnt of history in school, the annals will refer to this counteroffensive as the First Counterattack War.

This counterattack war lasted for nine months. Europe mobilized nearly seven million troops for the battle, accounting for more than 10% of the total population of Europe after the catastrophe.

After nine months of arduous and extraordinary battles and the advantage of the mountainous terrain of the Apennine Peninsula, this massive army finally pushed the front line back to the Sicily region, successfully achieving the strategic goal of splitting the diterranean.

Lucia maximized the mobilization of three million troops and, together with the two million troops dispatched by the Fla Country, rolled over the alien creatures in the Aegean Sea region with an unstoppable montum of a steel torrent, reclaiming the Peloponnese Peninsula, Crete, Rhode Island, and nurous Aegean islands.

Although many islands in the Aegean were frozen beneath the ice due to rising sea levels, several large islands were preserved, allowing the Lucians to establish new strongholds and defensive lines there, suppressing the alien creatures and then cleansing the Aegean of the remaining alien creatures.

In this war, humans mobilized twelve million troops, engaging in arduous and extraordinary battles with billions of alien creatures.

Many brave individuals perished in the war, spilling their blood upon the earth.

Yet it was their sacrifice and dedication that enabled humanity to eradicate the alien creatures, driving them from our territory and reclaiming the domain of humankind.

Those who sacrificed themselves are also recorded in history, commorated with the inheritance of human civilization.

In nine months, with hundreds of thousands of casualties, humanity achieved its strategic goals, cleansing the Aegean and Adriatic Seas, exterminating countless alien creatures. Their corpses and spilled blood even covered the entire sea surface, frozen into a thick layer by the cold.

When one day Blue Star thaws, these corpses could potentially raise the sea level by another ter.

However, no country has the notion of clearing these corpses, not because they don't want to, but because they simply lack the capacity to handle such a massive number of bodies.

Just like the Fla Country's Dongting Lake, the lake surface was a battleground on rotation, the ice layer filled with frozen corpses which couldn't be dug out. Even if they could be, such a massive number of bodies, unless recycled into biomass to make synthetic protein blocks, would require more fuel than humanity possesses to incinerate them.

The countries could only leave the corpses as they were, having no better solution for such a situation.

After the first counterattack, due to the brilliant victory achieved, the morale and public sentint on the human side were greatly elevated.

And with a truly united fight, the barriers between countries rapidly replaced by the camaraderie of fighting side by side.

This experience of facing life and death together for the future of humanity even directly expedited the elimination of barriers between European countries, accelerating the process of European integration.

After all, the military is not like governnt departnts that can afford specialized translation teams for every language over minor textual issues.

To ensure the transmission of military orders, European countries forcibly designated a language as the language for military commands.

The ergence of a common language is undoubtedly a vital factor in promoting the integration of nations.

This counterattack war greatly impacted European countries and similarly left a significant mark on the Fla Country and Lucia.

After many years, Lucia once again deployed its forces on a large scale internationally. Before the catastrophe, this would undoubtedly scare European countries to death.

But in the current global context, it rejoiced the European nations, who even wished Lucia would mobilize twenty million troops to sweep across everything like during World War II.

For Lucia, this was also an opportunity for the country to eradicate its ailnts and redevelop.

The leaders of Lucia did not squander this opportunity; leveraging the impact of the war, Lucia undertook a series of adjustnts dostically, thoroughly addressing so issues that had persisted since the Suyia era.

Solving these issues, although it temporarily affected Lucia, allowed the country to move forward unburdened, and Lucians soon realized their nation seed to return to that era filled with hope and ideals as recounted by their ancestors, complete with children's ice creams.

Although there's still no ice cream this ti, everyone once again saw hope.

And for a nation, when its people are filled with hope, everything becos achievable.

In the war, although the Fla Country deployed forces fewer in number, its two hundred thousand troops played a role that seven million Europeans failed to manifest.

With mobile bases, land ships, and Titans, the Fla Country's two hundred thousand troops were a thoroughly chanized corps, serving an irreplaceable role as the tip of the spear in the attack on the Aegean Sea.

The powerful armored forces participated not only in the Aegean campaign but also in the final clearing operations of the Adriatic Sea during the last stages of the war.

The Fla Country's infantry units, fully equipped with exoskeletons and power armor, with their virtually indestructible electromagnetic shielded tank torrents and the Titans and Heavy chas which always descended from the sky accompanying victory, left an indelible impression on the armies of European countries and Lucia.

In nine months, those massive robots equipped with electromagnetic shields, capable of descending from the sky at your call, beca the scene that every soldier involved in this war most hoped to witness, as it ant the enemy before them would be crushed completely.

Although countries purchased land ships and Titans from the Fla Country before the war, evidently, the airborne versions were the latest models reserved for Fla Country's own use, and various latest expansion kits including airborne and shield devices were simply not for sale.

This made it impossible for European countries to emulate the Fla Country's airborne Titan strategy due to insufficient technology.

Only the Lucians managed to resurrect the Suyia era technique of dropping tanks alongside paratroopers, barely allowing the use of Titans as airborne troops.

Although the Southern Celestial Gate project's joint research successfully unified technologies from different countries and reconnected their industrial systems into a whole, three years weren't enough to convert their gains into tangible combat power.

So after the first counterattack war, European countries voluntarily halted their offensive.

They wanted to digest their gains, and humanity needed to accumulate more power to completely crush the alien creatures occupying their holand.
