The situation developed just as Chen Xin had anticipated.
Two days later at noon, White made a speech in the cafeteria, accusing various unjust treatnts he had suffered.
Those who had contacted him earlier took the opportunity to stir up trouble among the crowd, spreading dissatisfaction and inciting others to sympathize with White, attempting to get more people to join the protest.
However, just when they thought everything was going smoothly and White's speech had attracted a sizable audience, while mobilizing people they had pre-arranged, a team of soldiers equipped with heavy chas suddenly stord into the cafeteria.
These heavy chas were not as common as power armors.
They stood over three ters tall, with armor much heavier than that of power armor, and were equipped with heavier weaponry.
For instance, weapons such as autocannons and missile launch pods that could only be seen on Titans, as well as handheld cannons.
These heavy chas were initially designed to replace tanks and form new armored forces with infantry equipped with power armor, to deal with obstacles like barricades or strongholds that might appear in urban warfare.
Initially, these heavy chas were very welcod by the military, and they directly re-equipped an armor division.
But with the later ergence of the Titans, the positioning of heavy chas beca sowhat ambiguous.
As a personal equipnt, they were too large and heavy, not as nimble as power armors; as a vehicle, they were not as solid or reliable as Titans, with inferior firepower and defense.
Originally, as a heavy individual equipnt or a light vehicle, these heavy chas still had their uses.
But as the alien invasion unfolded, the military needed more heavy firepower like Titans, and for individuals, power armors sufficed, so heavy chas were never massively equipped.
Even so, the military still equipped one or two armored divisions, and they were deployed during the previous Dongting Lake campaign.
The deterrence of these heavy chas was incomparable to power armors; standing over three ters tall, with firepower equivalent to that of light vehicles, these big guys were easily identifiable as actual war machines.
Against power armors, there might still be so who dared to gamble on whether the soldiers would shoot.
But facing those wielding cannons, no one dared to stand in their way, let alone talk about freedom or democracy with these war machines.
"Arrest everyone whose ID card is red." Along with the heavy chas, there was another team of soldiers equipped with exoskeletons, who, upon entering, followed the commanding officer's orders to check everyone's ID cards. Those whose cards turned red and were locked were all arrested.
Obviously, those whose permissions were locked were the ones Xi Yao had marked as pre-arranged individuals.
With the deterrence of the heavy chas, no one dared to stir up trouble or protest at such a mont. Even when so resisted, they were quickly subdued by the soldiers and then taken away from the cafeteria.
White was extrely regretful at this mont. He was quickly subdued by two soldiers and pressed onto the cafeteria table.
Originally, he was standing on the table giving his speech, but clearly, the soldiers wouldn't let him remain so conspicuous.
He regretted it deeply, regretting why he had listened to those people and stood out to give a speech. Now he was certain to be sent back to Europe.
The thought of returning to Europe and living a life where he barely had enough to eat, relying on protein blocks for sustenance, filled White with regret beyond words.
"Mr. White, what a pity. I should have had your superiors warn and remind you not to violate the rules anymore, but it seems you didn't listen at all!" Chen Xin, after the situation was under control, also ca to the cafeteria and looked at White pinned to the table, sighing.
Chen Xin didn't hold any ill will toward White, although he disliked his rule-breaking, he hadn't intended to make a big deal out of it.
Unfortunately, there are always those who bring trouble upon themselves, refusing to live a good life and insisting on stirring up trouble.
"Sir, please give another chance!" White begged Chen Xin, finally realizing his mistake, he pleaded: "I know I was wrong, please don't send back to Europe!"
"Sorry, Mr. White, I already gave you a chance, but you didn't cherish it." Chen Xin shook his head, addressed the soldiers holding White: "Take him out, load him onto the ship with the others, and send him back to Europe."
After speaking, Chen Xin looked at the others in the cafeteria, who were still a bit confused and seemingly scared, thought for a mont, and then stood on a chair atop the table.
After having Xi Yao connect his voice to the cafeteria speakers, Chen Xin began, "Sorry for interrupting your lunchti. Due to Mr. White's unauthorized reporting, so with ulterior motives sought to use this opportunity to incite a strike and sabotage the project research of the Southern Celestial Gate plan for their selfish goals.
Their sches were promptly detected by Xi Yao, and reported to , so I called in the base garrison to arrest them, after which they will be stripped of all privileges and deported back.
I hope each of you won't be influenced by them. The Southern Celestial Gate plan is a multinational cooperative research plan, negotiated and agreed upon by all countries, there is no scenario where you are working for Fla Country, or being exploited by it.
This research concerns all of humanity. Your work involves integrating the technologies and resources of all nations, contributing to the survival and developnt of all humanity. Each of you should give your utmost effort to work hard and not let notions of freedom, democracy, country distinctions, and aningless personal ambitions affect the project progress.
This ti we only dealt with the ringleaders and only deported them. However, if anyone else attempts to emulate them, next ti I will hold them accountable, not just deported, but subject to additional punishnts including, but not limited to, detention according to the severity of the case.
I hope everyone understands that the Southern Celestial Gate plan is agreed upon by all countries, your respective governnts have granted full authority to the plan's committee, and we have the right to hold accountable and penalize anyone affecting the progress of this project. So, please work earnestly henceforth."
Having finished his speech, Chen Xin left the cafeteria.
And as he left, the team of heavy chas ford up and followed behind him.
Watching Chen Xin depart under the protection of the heavy chas, everyone in the cafeteria fell into a chilling silence.
