"Welco! Friends!" Bob’s superior warmly greeted the staff from the Fla Country as they disembarked from the Land Ship, with an enthusiasm that Bob thought he might not even show to his own father.
However, Bob didn’t think there was anything wrong with his superior’s warm treatnt of the Fla Country staff, because their ship carried the much-needed supplies, especially the food provided by the Fla Country, which was far better than the stuff brought from the rear.
To put it a bit bluntly, the food supplies sent from the rear were like feed for pigs... No, it could be said that even pigs before the disaster ate better than this.
Blackened potatoes, mixed with who-knows-what and baked into hard, dry baguettes that could be used as sticks — this was practically the diet from World War II.
But the things sent by the Fla Country were different!
Compressed biscuits and energy bars, though a bit hard, were filling and hunger-resistant, and most importantly, they tasted much better compared to those baguettes mixed with who-knows-what.
And dehydrated vegetables, just a quick soak in hot water and adding the provided seasoning packet, beca a bowl of very nice vegetable soup!
In this cold and dark era, a bowl of hot soup that could warm both stomach and soul was unbeatable!
Not to ntion, the Fla Country’s supplies also included ergency food packs with real at!
Although so who understood Chinese translated the ingredient list as rat at, to Bob and the others, as long as it was at, they were almost ready to catch alien creatures to grill, so re rat at was not an issue.
"What good stuff did you bring today?" After warmly welcoming the Fla Country staff, Bob’s superior eagerly inquired.
The supplies from the Fla Country had beco the most popular on the entire European Defense Line, and anyone would cherish the opportunity to acquire supplies from them.
The staff mber seed accustod to these European soldiers’ enthusiasm, smiling as he replied, "You’re in luck today. We built a new logistics base in the rear, producing synthetic protein at while extracting oil. Today, my ship carries gasoline, synthetic protein at ergency food, and so weapons and ammunition. What do you need? I also have so ammunition."
"You can provide weapons and equipnt?" The officer’s eyes widened in disbelief.
It was no secret that the Fla Country had better military equipnt. In fact, just seeing the Protective Suits and Exoskeletons worn by Fla Country individuals, and the Power Armor worn by their escorts accompanying each ship, would make any frontline officer envious, always asking about it.
Yet they all received similar answers — they were organizing production in the rear and negotiating technology transfers with various governnts, providing only a small number of Electromagnetic Rifles to units that most urgently needed weapons.
As for the enticing Power Armor and Exoskeletons, the Fla Country expressed that they hadn’t brought finished products, and agreents on technology transfers with various countries had not been reached, preventing them from being provided.
Now, this officer was hearing from the Fla Country staff that they could provide weapons and equipnt, causing him to be thrilled!
Food could certainly boost morale and enable soldiers to fight better, but compared to the advanced military equipnt of the Fla Country, it was nothing.
"What can you provide? Your Exoskeletons or those impressive Power Armors?" The officer eagerly asked, perhaps thinking these might be too luxurious and added, "Even if it’s just Electromagnetic Rifles, that would be fine!"
"Haha, don’t worry, we have everything!" This ti, the Fla Country staff, who had previously refused all kinds of conditions proposed by the officers, was exceptionally accommodating, introducing, "We’ve brought a hundred sets of Exoskeletons, twenty sets of Power Armor, five hundred Electromagnetic Rifles, along with maintenance parts.
In addition, I have two hundred barrels of gasoline, one hundred fifty barrels of diesel, fifty barrels of kerosene, twenty tons of ergency food made from synthetic protein at, and ten tons of dehydrated vegetables, with other food supplies being more plentiful, around one hundred tons."
These can all be provided to you, but I still have to run to five supply-needing outposts on this trip, so the amount I can give you is limited.
Moreover, the Power Armor requires a specialized technician for maintenance. If you want it, I’ll leave a technician here for you to learn how to maintain it, and I’ll pick him up when I return."
"That’s more than enough! Even just a portion is enough! Can I have them all?" The officer seed extrely pleased at this mont, having long coveted the Fla Country’s Exoskeletons and Power Armor. Now, finally getting a set to arm his soldiers left him so excited, he was nearly fainting.
The Fla Country staff didn’t show much reaction, just nodded and signaled for the crew from the Land Ship to start unloading.
"I can give you five tons of ergency food, two tons of dehydrated vegetables, and twenty tons of other food supplies. As for Electromagnetic Rifles, fifty pieces, twenty sets of Exoskeletons, but only five sets of Power Armor. I’ll leave enough maintenance parts and have our people help build a maintenance station, teaching you how to use and maintain these things." As he spoke, large crates were being unloaded from the open hold of the Land Ship.
The officer quickly organized personnel to transport these supplies. Although the battle up front continued, this strategic point had plenty of soldiers rotating off duty, all enthusiastically unloading the supplies.
The appearance of the Fla Country’s supply ship was rare, potentially not to be seen for the next month or two, especially given the bounty of the supplies this ti, easily three or four tis the usual amount, which only added to the excitent.
Besides the abundant food, what excited everyone most were those Electromagnetic Rifles and Exoskeletons freshly withdrawn from the crates, along with the strikingly impressive Power Armor.
The officer quickly selected a group of trusted, elite warriors to learn how to use the new equipnt, as the Fla Country had said their staff would only remain until the supply ship’s return; the personnel had to quickly learn how to use the equipnt themselves.
Bob’s luck was quite good, having a habit of stockpiling food; he wasn’t particularly hungry and appeared relatively healthy and strong, plus his good performance in combat had him selected to use one of the sets of Power Armor.
Looking at the Power Armor provided by the Fla Country, Bob couldn’t help but get excited, nervously stepping forward and under the guidance of the technician from the Fla Country, removed his equipnt to put on the Power Armor for the first ti.
