In the end, Chen Xin still couldn't taste the top-quality rare wines that Mo Qingyan had collected.

It wasn't that he couldn't persuade Mo Qingyan; rather, as Mo Qingyan had said, these wines were truly precious, so even unique in the current circumstances. To drink them casually would indeed be too wasteful. It was better to wait for a more suitable occasion to enjoy them aningfully.

Moreover, at the end of the day, these wines were Mo Qingyan's private property. While Chen Xin could threaten or entice Mo Qingyan to achieve his own aim, everything has a limit. It wouldn't be good to provoke Mo Qingyan to anger by overdoing it.

So, in the end, Chen Xin only asked Mo Qingyan to open a bottle that was fairly decent though not so rare, and crucially wasn't the only bottle available, so everyone could share it together after all the wines were defrosted.

For Chen Xin, although this was just a small episode, it indeed allowed him to adjust his state during this vacation, relax his mind and body, and most importantly, strengthen the bond between him, Qin Lan, and Mo Qingyan.

Thus, after the vacation, Chen Xin once again threw himself into work with renewed enthusiasm.

However, although Chen Xin himself was enthusiastically dedicated to work, he didn't have much urgent work on hand for the ti being.

The Weather Controller was already overseen by other experts sent by the state, and due to the limitations of foundational scientific developnt, it would be difficult to achieve a breakthrough in the short term.

Although Chen Xin was keen to help, considering the issues of technological developnt and accumulation, he could only occasionally help upgrade so parts and equipnt sent over from there, unable to directly upgrade the entire Weather Controller.

As for the Ecological Do's new city, although Chen Xin occasionally needed to check on the construction progress, the design blueprint was already finalized, and the construction didn't require his responsibility; essentially, there wasn't much for him to do.

The main task was to confirm whether the construction progress matched the expected plan and to check if there were any mistakes or omissions, not requiring Chen Xin to monitor it all the ti.

This led to a situation where Chen Xin seed to have no additional tasks apart from handling daily work.

But regular work didn't occupy much of his ti because with system upgrades backing the improvent tasks, each job was usually completed in an instant without much delay.

However, Chen Xin's leisure didn't last long before Tang Tang approached him with a new challenge.

"Greenery plants and animals needed for the Do New City construction?" Chen Xin asked puzzled after hearing Tang Tang's question: "Why would you co to for this?"

"Because we are currently the only research institution in the country capable of large-scale individual cultivation of plants and animals, and our level of ecosystem research is also top-notch dostically. Moreover, since the Do New City project was proposed by you, handling it ourselves seed logical," Tang Tang explained to Chen Xin.

Listening to Tang Tang's explanation, Chen Xin rubbed his chin: "Shouldn't you be looking for Professor Li? He's the expert in ecological research."

Professor Li is the scientist responsible for ecological agriculture research at the Research Center, and the main leader in the Research Center's scientific efforts. Though he's Chen Xin's deputy, both Chen Xin and Tang Tang, along with everyone else at the Research Center, greatly respect this elderly ntor.

Professor Li has also made substantial contributions in scientific research, previously leading the project research on ecological greenhouse sheds, and personally overcoming many key technical challenges, which involved considerable effort for an elderly person.

Additionally, because of Professor Li's presence, early dissenting research personnel at the Research Center were effectively suppressed and subsided to work obediently under Chen Xin.

"Professor Li's health hasn't been good recently. The old man is getting on in years." Tang Tang shook her head, conveying a not-so-good news to Chen Xin.

Hearing about Professor Li's poor health, Chen Xin imdiately asked nervously: "Is Professor Li alright? What did the doctor say?"

"It's not a big issue, the old man might just be too exhausted. People at an advanced age can feel overwheld by simple ailnts, like headaches or colds, but the doctor said it's nothing serious, just needs proper rest." As the administrative supervisor, Tang Tang naturally prioritized this matter and was quite aware of Professor Li's condition.

Learning that Professor Li was alright, Chen Xin felt relieved and also understood why Tang Tang found him.

"Alright then, I'll handle this matter. But while I understand the need for greenery at the Do New City, why do they also need animals?" Chen Xin asked Tang Tang puzzled.

The need for greenery was understandable as it was essential for building an ecological city, with plants being the key component of an ecological environnt, making it easily comprehensible.

But the demand for animals left Chen Xin a bit confused. During the previous construction of the ecological greenhouse do, they hadn't required animals, right?

Especially when the Research Center itself was an Ecological Do environnt, where plants naturally thrived and ford a self-sustaining eco-cycle without needing animal involvent.

Regarding this, Tang Tang didn't provide Chen Xin with an explanation, just made a helpless face saying: "Don't ask about such professional matters; I'm finding it hard to answer. But I've heard that it's because the Do New City's ecosystem is too large and needs animals to participate; otherwise, maintaining the whole ecosystem's operation and self-sufficiency would be challenging. For specifics, you could ask the project researchers, as they're the ones who submitted this request."

Faced with Tang Tang's attitude, Chen Xin could only nod and say: "Alright, I understand. I'll go ask them to clarify. But since they've submitted such a request, it should be genuinely needed. I'll leave the cultivation work of plants and animals to you, senior."

"Understood, I'll handle it well." For the tasks, Tang Tang didn't show impatience or excuses but after agreeing, she sowhat complained teasingly to Chen Xin: "Speaking of which, I've been working for you for quite so ti now; when would you allow a vacation? I've long gone without a break."

"Uh? Senior, you're the administrative supervisor. Can't you approve your own vacation? You don't need my approval, do you?" Chen Xin, although understanding the teasing in Tang Tang's words, was genuinely curious as to why she hadn't taken a vacation.

Seeing Chen Xin's response, Tang Tang imdiately retorted, annoyed: "You're my boss. Without your approval, how dare I take a vacation? If you suddenly need soone to work and drag back, wouldn't that be rather awkward?"
