After sending Oleg and his n away from the Mobile Base, Chen Xin’s mood still didn’t improve.
This attitude of ingratitude, constantly hostile towards the people of Fla Country, although prevalent in all Western countries even before the disaster, especially due to their dia’s long-term sar campaigns against Fla Country, had already ingrained prejudice deep into the bones of their people.
This is why, initially, Chen Xin didn’t mind the several hostile actions from Lucia’s revolutionary forces towards Fla Country. After all, it’s their ideology, and there’s no need to watch them struggle for survival over trivial matters.
Although Chen Xin prided himself on having a good temper, even the best temper has limits.
He felt he could no longer tolerate the revolutionary forces in Lucia’s Capital. Regardless of whether they are true revolutionaries, Chen Xin believed it was ti to resolve these people and the problems they brought.
Thinking of this, after returning to the base, Chen Xin did not imdiately look at the experint report but called in the Commander of the reinforcents.
Due to his prolonged stay in Lucia and now being in control of this base, he had been temporarily appointed as the Head of Security for the base. Apart from the special forces he originally brought, he also had another squad of Fla Country warriors who arrived later.
"Academician, you’re looking for ?" The Commander arrived at Chen Xin’s office, saluted formally, and then inquired about the purpose of Chen Xin’s summon.
"Is there any problem with the base’s security recently?" Chen Xin asked him without showing any emotion.
The Commander, having already heard about the capture of two people from Lucia, promptly apologized to Chen Xin: "My apologies, Academician! I neglected the security work in the experint area! I am willing to accept any punishnt."
"It’s a trivial matter, not worth pursuing." Chen Xin waved his hand. Although responsibilities could be assigned for such matters, it was truly unnecessary: "Such a large experint area, unless I gave you an entire regint, how would you, with the few n on hand, be able to protect the base and clear the entire experint zone?"
Hearing Chen Xin say this, the Commander felt sowhat relieved, but at the sa ti, he beca nervous.
After all, since Chen Xin wasn’t going to punish him for this, there must be sothing else he needed to do.
Sure enough, Chen Xin continued: "Although this incident isn’t a big deal, I don’t want those so-called revolutionaries to give us more trouble. You should contact the Lucia authorities and inform them of this incident. Tell them I hope they can resolve the revolutionary issues soon."
" to contact them? Wouldn’t it be better for the base staff to make the contact?" The Commander didn’t understand, given there were dedicated liaison personnel in the base. Chen Xin asking him to contact the Lucia authorities seed unreasonable.
But Chen Xin had no intention of explaining, he just looked at him.
"I’ll ensure the task is completed!" The Commander was startled by Chen Xin’s gaze, quickly stood up, and shouted loudly.
Chen Xin nodded satisfactorily and said to him, "If you understand, then execute it, I hope to receive results soon."
"Yes, Academician!" The Commander replied loudly, then turned and left Chen Xin’s office.
Although he didn’t quite understand Chen Xin’s attitude, the Commander, aware of Chen Xin’s importance to the nation, knew well that even if Chen Xin’s approach rely changed to urge the Lucia officials to deal with the revolutionaries, and he wanted the Fla Country army to intervene directly, back ho they would send additional support or persuade him not to use such radical thods rather than stopping Chen Xin from dealing with the revolutionaries.
In order to ensure Chen Xin’s safety, it was even within the acceptable range for the higher-ups in Fla Country to consider open conflict with Lucia’s authorities if necessary.
As the base’s Head of Security, he had received clear orders from ho; Chen Xin’s safety was the highest priority.
While the Commander went off to execute Chen Xin’s orders, in his office, Chen Xin finally opened the experint reports to understand the details of this experint.
Compared to the previous initiation experint, there wasn’t much difference this ti.
Apart from extending the exposure ti to fifteen minutes and deploying chemical agents in the target area, there were no other differences between the two experints.
This was primarily for comparison to confirm the variables in the experint process and the impact these variables could have.
The experint results did not disappoint Chen Xin and the researchers, clearly reflecting both the outcos and the primary influencing factors.
First and foremost was the exposure ti; this ti, due to the extended exposure period and the pre-arranged detection balloons, the staff could more accurately record temperature changes during the experint.
This allowed Chen Xin to see clearly that as the exposure ti increased, the temperature indeed showed a significant rise.
However, equally, when the temperature reached a certain point, its increase beca gradually slower.
In simple terms, the entire temperature rise didn’t follow a straight line but was a steep curve, with the slope becoming gentler as it approached zero degrees.
This also explained why the previous temperature rise appeared exaggerated, at minus one hundred degrees, it rose by 12°C in three minutes, while closer to zero degrees, it didn’t even rise by 5°C in three minutes.
And this result was achieved even with the influence of chemical agents.
Through comparison, Chen Xin also discovered that when the temperature was very low, scattering chemical agents was not very effective. These agents seed to work better when the environnt temperature was relatively higher or close to zero.
As for why this conclusion was reached, simply comparing the temperature change curve from this ti with that of last ti and conducting function calculations could reveal the differences.
After all, the first half of the two curves nearly coincided, but in the latter half, there was a slight rise in this experint’s temperature change curve, which was quite explanatory.
Upon understanding this data, Chen Xin also realized the current state of this Weather Controller.
Simply put, it might still not be of much use unless Chen Xin continued to invest survival points into it, proceeding with further upgrades.
Otherwise, this machine cannot serve much function currently; it could indeed raise the temperature in local areas, but its effect notably declines as it approaches zero degrees.
Within the range below zero degrees, most temperature changes only cause strong winds, and for precipitation and other weather changes, the temperature must first reach above zero for a more noticeable effect.
