Within the control zone of the "Revolutionary Army," tensions have beco subtly different since the Revolutionary Committee started negotiations with the authorities.

Most mbers of the "Revolutionary Army" were the initial rioters, rebelling because they felt they could no longer survive, inherently hostile to the authorities. However, now that the Revolutionary Committee has begun talks, it has undoubtedly shaken the trust many had in the committee.

After all, the so-called Revolutionary Committee doesn’t have much grassroots support. The initial rioters rely needed a leader, and the so-called committee just rose to the occasion.

If the Revolutionary Committee can handle the situation well and win everyone’s trust, they can naturally build their foundation of rule over ti.

But for the whole "Revolutionary Army," they have been around for less than a month, and already they are negotiating with their largest enemy and the target they intended to overthrow, making this kind of wavering inevitable.

It’s one thing for trust in the Revolutionary Committee to falter, but clearly, a small group does not just distrust the committee—they want to replace it.

In a refuge controlled by the "Revolutionary Army," several scheming individuals had already gathered together.

"I asked around, and the committee sent a zombie to the authorities; they had it cured by people from the Fla Country." One masked individual revealed the information he had gathered to the others.

This information clearly startled the others, and after so whispering, soone asked, "Are you sure about this news?"

"Certain, the source is from soone within the committee." The masked man didn’t reveal where the information ca from, but his confidence persuaded the others to believe him.

Or rather, for the others, whether they are convinced or not depends only on what they want to believe in their hearts.

"Since the people from the Fla Country can cure the infections, why isn’t the committee negotiating with them instead of going through the authorities?" Soone raised a question.

"Because the people from the Fla Country are in cahoots with the authorities! They’re all in cahoots!" said one person rather excitedly, his excitent visible through his mask: "Do you really think they are here out of goodwill to cure us? No! I’m telling you, they’re here to use us as human guinea pigs!

These viruses! You know that? These viruses can be used as weapons! They’re biological weapons! They’re not so ancient virus released from lting Siberian permafrost as the officials claim; they’re biological weapons developed by the authorities!

Are people from the Fla Country really saving us? No! They’re using infected people as experints! Don’t think they’re benevolent; they’re making biological weapons out of our people!"

"Shut up! You’re too loud! Do you want to draw the committee in here?" soone quickly interrupted, halting the excited person from speaking further.

The first masked individual resud speaking once the others quieted down: "Although the committee is negotiating with the authorities, it’s clear they haven’t managed to contact the Fla Country people yet, and just as was ntioned, the Fla Country people may not even have the intention of saving us. Otherwise, why not help us if they have a cure?

So far, there’s been no movent from the committee to send the infected for treatnt. They claim to have negotiated with the authorities, but only a few core figures in the committee know the specifics, and many within the committee don’t know what results they reached with the authorities."

"Doesn’t that an the committee privately reached an agreent with the authorities and sold out the Revolutionary Army?" soone found this unbelievable. Although many didn’t trust the Revolutionary Committee, there were so who still held a bit of hope and expectation for it.

But while so harbored goodwill towards the Revolutionary Committee, naturally, others harbored resentnt. Soon, soone intervened, "Who knows who the Revolutionary Committee mbers really are? They rely stood up and organized during the riots, and most of them are just kids! Without even discussing their reliability, who can guarantee they haven’t colluded with the authorities?"

"Makes sense, I think the committee is negotiating with the authorities to sell us out and gain greater benefits for themselves!" said a burly-looking figure, his face obscured, yet appearing unlike the others—ill-fed and thin.

"So what should we do now? If the committee sells us out to the authorities and the Fla Country people for biochemical experints, what should we do?" soone voiced the shared concern, even if it was baseless.

"Then we overthrow the committee’s rule just like we did with the authorities!" soone expressed a rather radical stance.

"Not wise. The biggest problem is that the infected aren’t getting treated. No matter what the committee is doing, maintaining stable order at least allows more people to get treated," another chose a more cautious approach.

However, neither seed to gain majority support, with more leaning towards survival and receiving treatnt than pursuing radical asures.

For ordinary people, of course, this seems the best solution, but for those with ulterior motives, it clearly doesn’t et their interests.

"Since the people from the Fla Country have the technology to cure zombies, they must be able to cure the infected too. So why don’t we capture them and force them to reveal the treatnt thod to cure more people?" One proposed a seemingly more feasible option, suggesting it for everyone’s benefit.

With this proposal, the insider previously prepared chid in cooperatively, "Exactly! Since the authorities and the committee disregard our survival, we’ll carve out a path ourselves! Capture those Fla Country people and force them to reveal the cure!"

"Exactly, we must actively save ourselves! If the Fla Country people have the treatnt thod, we’ll seize it from them!" another insider echoed loudly, raising both hands in a call to action: "Since these Fla Country people managed to reach Lucia, it proves they have planes! We can seize a plane and fly out of this damned place!"

"Leave Lucia? But if we leave Lucia, where can we go?" Leaving Lucia, indeed, was sothing many aspired to do, whether before or after the disaster.

"The Equator! We’ll fly the plane to the Equator! No matter how cold the weather gets, the Equatorial Region will be warm!" shouted a preditating person, stirring up the others.
