Following the previous train, not only did the two individuals looking for Chen Xin arrive at Lin City, but another rescue team also ca from downtown.

This was the second rescue team to arrive in Lin City. Compared to the first rescue team, this group was much more poorly equipped and carried few supplies. Most of them only had their own clothes, without protective suits, and did not bring dical tents, but they did carry a lot of urgently needed dicines.

The arrival of this rescue team greatly pleased Lin City Hall, and they quickly sent them along with their supplies to the rescue station.

Since they ca by train, the number of people in this second rescue team significantly increased compared to the first rescue team. The arrival of sixty mbers greatly supplented the staff shortage at the rescue station, allowing more patients to receive treatnt.

Chen Xin learned from the researchers that this group first boarded the train at the downtown station. After arriving in San Town, they transferred and reached Lin City through the coordination and arrangent there.

This was exactly the route that Chen Xin and the others had discussed when they departed as the first rescue team.

After the first rescue team opened the path, the downtown area sent a second rescue team, using this more ti-consuming route to transport people and materials.

"Mr. Chen, if there’s anything you need to be transported from the downtown, it can be transferred via this route. You only need to load it with those project prototypes." After explaining the situation to Chen Xin, the researchers also indicated that they could transport so things for Chen Xin.

Chen Xin did not have any specific needs but after so thought said, "I personally don’t have anything to transport, but if possible, I’d like you to bring so materials over. Resources are scarce here in Lin City, and I have to rely on collecting scrap tal to relt and manufacture parts, which is not very efficient, and the material quality isn’t very reliable."

"That’s easy! Anything Mr. Chen needs, we can get it for you!" The researcher assured him confidently, with no hint of difficulty.

But that’s the truth; when Chen Xin was in the downtown, he just needed to tell the research institution what materials he needed, and they would get them for him.

"Mainly it’s steel. We need steel for building the heating hub. I’ll write a list for you later. Just send the raw materials over, and I can process them here." Chen Xin, hearing the researcher’s assurance, didn’t hold back and planned to write out a list of what he needed.

Chen Xin and the researcher chatted as they walked to the place where Chen Xin, Cao Daren, and the workers were temporarily staying, a row of tents buried under the snow.

These were specially modified tents by Chen Xin, while his RV was left at the rescue station for Qin Lan and Mo Qingyan to reside in. He hadn’t driven it over.

As for the power supply here, Chen Xin found a few car batteries and newly developed two Isotope Thermoelectric Batteries: one for his electromagnetic tallurgy furnace and the other for the drill. The heating and lighting in the tent were connected to the battery supplying the electromagnetic tallurgy furnace.

Due to the constraints of raw materials, Chen Xin didn’t use the electromagnetic tallurgy furnace much.

Consequently, the power supply in the tent was ample and stable, with guaranteed lighting and heating. Apart from the slightly cramped space, it was quite comfortable.

Chen Xin took off his Power Armor and left it outside the tent before leading the researcher inside.

After pouring a cup of water for the researcher, Chen Xin invited him to sit down.

However, due to limited space in the tent, there were neither tables nor chairs, just a small low table for placing items, so the two sat on the ground.

"Mr. Chen, you live here? It looks nice!" The researcher glanced around the tent and couldn’t help but praise it.

Although the space inside the tent wasn’t large, it wasn’t cramped with two people sitting. The floor was at least two ters wide, allowing three or four people to lie side by side, making it quite decent for a tent used by Chen Xin alone.

"Yes, since we’re working here, I decided to set up a living space here. Besides , the workers also live here." Chen Xin poured himself a cup of hot water, adding a bit of salt and sugar.

In such a cold environnt, sugar and salt water effectively replenish the body’s needed water, electrolytes, and energy, making it quite a good drink.

As for the heating hub, it was ntioned earlier that qualified steel is mainly needed. The strength of materials from collected scrap tals is concerning." Chen Xin brought the conversation back to the main subject, telling the researcher about his current needs: "Besides materials, I also need a geologist, especially one who specializes in geothermal resources, because neither I nor the friend responsible for drilling has much knowledge in this area, and we need professionals to assist in dealing with possible problems during the geothermal resource extraction process."

"I understand. I will inform the downtown about this and ask them to try to send over a geothermal expert." This was a reasonable request, and the researcher knew such matters must be handled by professionals, so he readily agreed.

In addition to agreeing to Chen Xin’s request, this researcher also inquired about the heating hub and Energy Tower.

Chen Xin had previously ntioned using the heating hub to build greenhouses and constructing a city heating network with the Energy Tower, which was quite appealing to this researcher.

Although this researcher did not specialize in this field, he had plenty of enthusiasm for sothing that could improve people’s livelihoods.

If Chen Xin’s current project were completed, the technology could be applied to most areas rich in geothermal resources within Fla Country. Cities could then build Energy Towers and heating hubs, lting the snow on the ground, raising the temperature, and allowing people to return to life on the surface. It would be wonderful!

"Mr. Chen, did you an to use this heating hub under preparation to build greenhouses?" The researcher recalled Chen Xin’s ntion of greenhouses and curiously asked him.

In the researcher’s opinion, the area around the train station didn’t seem suitable, considering the nurous buildings around. If Chen Xin wanted to build greenhouses, it would be better to do so on the original farmland.

After all, the original farmland is cultivated land, and even if it’s frozen with snow, it’s better than dismantling abandoned buildings and clearing a plot of land.

It’s not just the workload; it’s also about soil fertility.

"I don’t plan to put the greenhouses in the city. We’ll drill another geothermal well and construct a second heating hub." Chen Xin naturally understood this reasoning, so he didn’t have any plans to build the greenhouses in the city.
