With the system’s installation feature, Chen Xin just needed a thought to move a set of aquaponics equipnt originally stored in the storage room to the greenhouse, connecting it to several hydroponic planting basin tanks.

The aquaponics system has relatively strict requirents for the oxygen content, pH value, total nitrogen, temperature, and alkalinity of the water, so after Chen Xin installed the equipnt, even though he didn’t start running it, he still needed to use the monitoring instrunts included in the equipnt to check the water quality to ensure it t the requirents.

Fortunately, Chen Xin was using groundwater, and since he had only been adding nutrient solutions to grow plants, the water quality was still fine.

However, due to the recent increase in groundwater temperature, the water used in the shelter inevitably had a slightly higher temperature, which also caused the water temperature in the hydroponic planting basins in the greenhouse to be a bit high.

There’s no problem with growing plants, but if used for fish, unless they are tropical fish, the fish might feel uncomfortable.

So when actually using it, Chen Xin needs to consider controlling the water temperature to avoid it becoming too high and turning fish farming into making fish soup.

And this is actually easy to control because the groundwater Chen Xin uses is first pumped up and stored in water tanks and is only used when needed, then transported from the tanks to the water pipes in the shelter.

Therefore, as long as the groundwater pump draws up the warr groundwater and it’s not used imdiately but allowed to cool for a while before using it, there won’t be any problems.

As for the hot spring pool that Qin Lan wanted, it’s easy to manage, just add another insulated tank to keep the drawn hot water at a constant temperature, or even more simply, use the water imdiately after drawing it.

After all, most so-called hot springs are either too hot or too cold, so true bathing-friendly hot springs are rare, hence most hot springs require heating or cooling, and so are just hot spring water brought to the pool and boiled.

With these thoughts and ideas swirling in his mind, Chen Xin looked at the blueprint of the dryer on his computer but had no inspiration, feeling irked, so he turned off the computer, took a shower, and went to bed.

Li Yulong was very efficient in his affairs, perhaps because even in the apocalyptic tis, his father still had people working for him.

So, Chen Xin didn’t have to wait long; after two days, he ca looking for him again.

"Xiaolong, have you got the dryer I asked for or the sh net?" Invited to his luxurious RV and sitting on the sofa, seeing Li Yulong’s joyful expression, Chen Xin curiously asked.

Li Yulong didn’t keep him in suspense and said with a smile, "Brother Chen, you really are lucky. When you ntioned needing a dryer, I went to look for suppliers, and guess what? I really found one!"

"You actually found a dryer?" Hearing Li Yulong say so, Chen Xin couldn’t help but show a pleased expression and pursued, "What kind of dryer is it, how big is it, and how does it perform?"

"I found it. It’s a fruit and vegetable machine from my dad’s hotel kitchen, used for making dried fruits. It was quite big when we bought it back then, capable of drying about thirty to forty jin of fruit at once, and it features an LCD touchscreen and intelligent temperature control. It’s really good stuff." Li Yulong showed a look of seeking approval while also boasting about the item he found.

After hearing Li Yulong’s explanation, Chen Xin widened his eyes in surprise and said, "A fruit and vegetable machine?"

"Yes, a fruit and vegetable machine! Although it’s for drying fruits, I found the manual stating it’s also okay for grains. Plus, it’s practically brand new, bought only in the second half of last year, and hardly used." Li Yulong hadn’t expected to find such a thing either.

Li Yulong’s description moved Chen Xin’s heart, prompting him to ask, "What’s the power consumption like? Is it big?"

"The power consumption is just five hundred watts; this thing doesn’t use more electricity than an induction cooker." Having anticipated Chen Xin’s concerns, Li Yulong took out the already prepared manual and handed it to Chen Xin: "The item is a bit big because it’s used in hotels, but I’ve brought it over, right on my vehicle, ready for Brother Chen to take inside anyti."

Taking the manual Li Yulong handed over, Chen Xin seriously flipped through it.

This fruit and vegetable machine, as Li Yulong said, is a bit large, but not too big, under a ter tall. Although marked in the manual as weighing forty kilograms, it’s not overly cumberso.

It might only dry thirty to forty jin of grains at a ti, but having usable equipnt is already excellent.

Chen Xin was very satisfied and nodded, saying, "It’s really nice, in such circumstances finding such a machine is already rare, help bring it inside, please."

"Okay, as long as Brother Chen is satisfied!" Li Yulong, still smiling broadly, nodded and instructed the bodyguard who ca with them to help move the equipnt into the shelter for Chen Xin.

After setting up the fruit and vegetable machine in the public area, against the wall, and connecting the power, seeing it could start up normally, Chen Xin then moved a bag of rice originally stored in the corner over to try out the machine.

Seeing this, Li Yulong told the bodyguard to head back to the vehicle outside, while he stayed eagerly nearby, helping Chen Xin place the rice onto the machine’s sh trays.

Since it was the first ti using it, Chen Xin set it to a relatively low temperature and only set it for an hour, intending to first see how it worked.

Seeing Chen Xin trying out the machine, Li Yulong didn’t rush to leave but instead started discussing with Chen Xin about setting up a greenhouse after obtaining a geothermal pump from him.

"Xiaolong, you’re planning to set up a farm, with the geothermal pump from solving the heating problem, but where do you plan to establish this farm?" Chen Xin looked at Li Yulong and asked him this crucial question.

This is an important question because under the current conditions, even with the geothermal pump provided by Chen Xin, it’s still impossible to place the farm structures aboveground, not only due to the harsh environnt but also because of the severe cold affecting construction.

In the extre cold where water freezes instantly, how do you mix cent and build walls?

Even if you use steel and glass to construct a greenhouse, how can such a fragile structure withstand environntal erosion?

Compared to expending massive resources on building a farm on the surface, finding a suitable underground space is a more sensible approach, even if it ans manually digging tunnels is better than constructing a house aboveground.

Therefore, Chen Xin was very curious about where Li Yulong, who had the support of the city governnt and his father, would decide to set up the farm.
