Even so of the strange faces had beco incomplete, with deep holes where their noses should have been, making the lower half of their faces look like one large, nauseating gash.
One after another, the horrifying corpses slowly approached and then each fell into the deep pit, erasing any sense of relief the Zeng Family mbers had felt when initially seeing the strangenesses tumble down. Instead, they felt a chill down their spines, trembling inside.
They couldn’t understand why this was happening, why so many strangenesses had targeted their family, or why they all seed destined for the deep pit.
Just then, all three of them noticed that no more strangenesses were appearing, but from the pit ca a rustling noise.
The sky outside had turned even darker.
This overcast dusk seed to bring night more quickly than usual, adding to the oppressive feeling in the hearts of the three Zeng Family mbers.

Soon, the rustling sound gradually faded away.
Thud, a bare arm stretched out from the pit and landed on the edge of the hole.
The Zeng Family mbers jerked in unison, their gaze snapping toward the sight.
Then a second arm appeared, close to the first, also resting on the edge of the hole, grasping at the grass growing from the nearby earth. Then a third arm erged, again reaching for the edge.
The next second, behind these arms, one leg appeared, followed by another, with the two obviously not belonging to the sa person.
Trailing these legs were two hands that seed to be a woman’s, and then another leg, wrinkled with sagging skin, clambered out of the hole.
Rustle, rustle, ten seconds later, in the cabin, Zeng Shiyuo, Tian Xiaoxia, and Zeng Ziming each stared in utter terror, their eyes bulging.
They watched the ghastly scene unfold before them, forgetting to breathe.
From the direction of the pit, they saw a giant flesh ball made of more than twenty entangled corpses crawling out. The bodies were wrapped around one another, heads, arms, and thighs interwoven so thoroughly, they seed unable to be separated.
From a distance, the massive flesh ball appeared to writhe, which for anyone with trypophobia would be enough to faint at just one glance.
This flesh ball sowhat resembled the result of Yan Junze’s “Drop the Handkerchief” task, where the children had been burned into a clump.
Except that clump was pitch black and unclear, while every single corpse within this flesh ball was distinctly visible.
So of the corpses even had limbs twisted backward at the joints, necks coiled together, eyes wide open, with so eyeballs hanging outside the sockets, lips parted, emitting unclear, piercing screams.
This massive ball of corpses was, at this mont, visible to all three mbers of the Zeng Family, not rely limited to the strangeness seeking them out as before.
The rolling flesh ball, with its multitude of clawing limbs, twisting heads, and the dreadful shrieks it emitted.
At that mont, the fear in the three spiked.
Inside the Underground Space.
Yan Junze steadily collected Fear Value, but at this mont, the black influx markedly sped up, causing ripples within the Stone of Fear.
Rock withdrew his gaze from Yan Junze’s Stone of Fear, unable to calm his nerves. He quickly sensed the ng Family’s four mbers still lying in the bedroom, the Fear Value coming from that direction pitifully low.
He looked at Yan Junze’s hand unwillingly, noticing that the absorption speed seed even faster there, probably due to so unique skill being used.
Suddenly, a twitch in one of Rock’s Tricky Silk indicated that ng Tingting was awake and slowly sitting up.
“Good, good, hurry up, that guy is going to overtake ,” Rock imdiately imrsed his mind there.
ng Tingting was just beginning to co to her senses, still dazed as she sat up. The terrifying scene she had rembered made her feel a resurgence of fear.
With a sense of overpowering dread returning, ng Tingting cried out and passed out again.
“Ah damn, was I too impatient? She’s fainted again.”
Rock had just received a decent surge of Fear Value when he inadvertently caused ng Tingting to faint again.
Looking back at Yan Junze, the black flow was quick, appearing to have overtaken his own.
Rock’s anxiety grew. Just then, his Tricky Silk vibrated again, and with a surge of hope, he once more imrsed his mind fully.
In the ng Family’s bedroom, ng Hang was the second to co to. He slowly sat up, supported himself with his hands, and shook his foggy head, mories of being frightened into unconsciousness returning. This still made him feel extrely scared and unable to distinguish reality from his fear.
Turning his head, he saw that his parents were also lying on the ground, looking rely as if they were asleep.
Just then, he heard a cracking sound and, looking down in surprise, noticed that his arm was being grasped by ng Tingting, who was not far from him.
Thump!
ng Hang collapsed back into unconsciousness.
“Oh, no!” Rock growled with frustration. “Co on, wake up one more, just one more.”
As he spoke, he glanced at his Stone of Fear.
The recent fear from ng Hang gave him a minor profit, but a look at Yan Junze’s gathering speed revealed that it seed as though it had never weakened.
