Chapter 622: 333 Double Top Fighters (4200)_1

It sounded as if muffled thunder rolled in the sky, like two heavy iron balls constantly colliding at high speed on the ceiling. The surrounding clouds of the bright moon quivered, on the verge of dissolution.

High above, amidst swirling fog, a vortex began to form.

Slowly, it transford into an archway, suspended between the realms of illusion and reality. The fra of white stone bore imprints of clouds, waves, and rocks.

The top of the gate was a chaotic mix of feathers, scales, and carapaces.

All sorts of patterns intermingled, culminating in a bizarre beauty that resonated with harmony and cohesion.

Bathing in the lunar radiance, the gate exuded a sense of sanctity, as if pushing it open would grant a glimpse into the highest heaven.

Bang!

The stone gate suddenly shook. Soone inside was pushing it open!

Whoosh!

A black teor fell from heaven’s gate. Trailing a long streaking tail, it darted across the sky at breakneck speed.

Below, in Northern Flow City, people raised their heads to catch a glimpse of the sporadic teor in the clouds, their fingers excitedly raised.

Rumble!

Thunder echoed once more; a roar of cataclysmic proportions. Yet none among the city’s populace seed to hear it.

They maintained their original activities, so wearing expressions of laughter, engaged in jovial conversation, or savoring delicacies.

The city remained brightly lit, its splendour unaffected.

However, the thunder among the clouds intensified. The teor traced across the sky from south to north, gliding over the entire cityscape of Northern Flow City.

High above, Casio was the teor. Well, not in the physical sense, but spiritually. His entire physique was made of Qi as his colossal figure shrunk into the shape of an infant. The golden red flas around him ford a faint film, akin to an infant’s amniotic sac.

From his bird’s eye view, Casio noticed sothing extraordinary amongst the black and white lines of the city. Streaks of red, akin to willow catkins, soared into the sky.

At a single glance, it resembled beautiful fireworks exploding against the pitch-black curtain. The sight brought about an astonishing and captivating sensation.

Upon close observation, each red line could be traced back to a walking citizen in the city. They went about their usual business, oblivious to the red tendrils extending from them, fluttering into the high sky like confetti.

If it were just a single thin red thread, it would be inconsequential.

But what about tens of thousands? As these multitudinous threads ascended towards the heavens, they looked like a forest of kelp from the sea bed. andering among the threads felt like strolling through a dense jungle.

With the teor slicing across the sky, the endless influx of red silk was attracted and pulled, chasing after the teor. Their speed increasing, forming a colossal shocking red tail fla.

Casio experienced an unprecedented satisfaction, as the warmth continuously rged into him – each wave tiny, but abundant. It was too much, overwhelmingly so.

He felt as if he was surrounded by a warm lake.

Thousands of droplets rushing towards him, each jostling to share their comforting warmth with him.

It was a form of enjoynt, one that could easily make one drown in pleasure.

Whoosh! The red teor traversed the final distance.

At the edge of the clouds, a blurry gate sprung open. The teor entered the gate with a whistle, leaving no trace behind.

Ding!

The crisp sound of shattering glass exploded next to Casio’s ears. He shuddered, snapping back to reality from his daze.

Roused, he shook his puzzled head. Stone dust sprinkled from his hair, covering his face. A screaming sound suddenly pierced the night.

The focus in Casio’s eyes returned. Before he could familiarize himself with his surroundings, a heavy weight swooped down from above, crashing onto his head with a powerful thrust.

Crack!

His head was unhard, but the falling object split into two upon impact, clattering onto the ground. On closer examination, it turned out to be an entire balcony – a crescent-shaped structure about three to four ters long. It was made of reinforced concrete, covered in white ceramic tile.

If such a massive structure fell, even a car would be flattened. But Casio seed more or less unscathed.

His head just buzzed slightly, causing minor discomfort.

“What’s going on?”

Only when the dust from the fallen balcony had cleared, did he see the actual situation. It seed that he had crashed into an archway in a mad chase. His Qi had entered the gate, but his body continued to ricochet, plowing through an entire street, smashing through four walls, and impacting a building like a human shell, causing it to collapse.

Now, he was stuck halfway into a wall.

Realising the situation, Casio exerted force with his hands, pulling himself out of the concrete and stretching his arms and legs.

He glanced around to find a woman, dressed in household clothes, looking frightfully in his direction. Her arm trembled, her finger pointed at him, her face pale as a sheet, her lips quivering.

It seed that the scream he heard earlier had co from her.

Had he nearly destroyed her ho?

A thought ran across Casio’s mind; he was not one to incur debts. He decided he would compensate her later – about two or three tis the cost should make up for the damage.

No sooner had this thought crossed his mind, he heard a creaking sound from behind him. It seed to be coming from the points where the building was joined.

Creak… creak…

In the moonlight, the three-story building began to tilt noticeably.

The collapse was inevitable, and it was happening rapidly.

The woman from the courtyard suddenly ran towards the building, her shouts filled with urgency, “Tommy! Richard! Get out, get out now!”
