Chapter 576: 312 “Domination of the Underworld Begins with the Subjugation of Black Spade ‘A’ Organization” (6300) _4
The room fell into silence once again.
“Sir?” Sonya spoke up.
“Don’t worry, I’m preparing your gifts…”
The low voice echoed from afar, behind the curtains.
“Gifts?” A hint of confusion painted Sonya’s delicate features as she turned towards Shulan. Shulan also looked clueless, uncertain what their superior was up to.
“Indeed, gifts for my new subordinates.”
The figure turned around abruptly, with dark energy slowly emanating from its palms. The twilight light poured from the edge of the clouds, spilling miles across. The intense golden red light fell into Casio’s eyes through the glass window, like a burning fla. With his handso three-dinsional face directed away from the sunlight, his facial contours were engulfed in shadow.
The palms were slightly raised, with two black dots hovering at the fingertips.
“Do you like it?”
Three hours later.
Eight p.m., Black Light Vineyard, the rectangular dining room.
In contrast to the other buildings, this dining room was newly built by the organization’s employees. Hence, it presents a modern tal structure, piece by piece of a glass window composite.
Plants are arranged around the exterior, offering a touch of elegance.
Today, six senior mbers from the Antiques Departnt and the Assassination Departnt of the Black Spade “A” organization will be gathering here. The original plan was to formulate specific strategies, but it turned out to be a celebration dinner. Everyone was taken aback by the unexpected victory achieved during an intelligence operation, where Sand Dust Organization’s antique transfer warehouse was unexpectedly destroyed. Moreover, many of Sand Dust’s masters died during the process, resulting in severe personnel casualties.
Hence, the eting evolved into a victory celebration.
It was a pitch-black night with only a faint moonlight hiding behind the clouds. The entire Black Light Vineyard wasn’t dark, as every certain distance was accompanied by a glowing streetlight. The rectangular dining room was the most illuminated, with warm yellow light radiating from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
In the dining room, the décor was subtly luxurious, with occasional gold sculptures of flowers on the white walls. Several crystal lamps hung from the roof, with sparking crystal chains dangling, much like raindrops falling from a roof’s edge.
In the middle, on a brown carpet, a long, narrow table took up most of the space, surrounded by wooden single chairs with soft upholstery. The table was adorned with shiny silverware and cutlery, and a large plate of delicious dishes was placed in the center.
The air was tinged with a tantalizing aroma of cooked food.
Well-spaced out were bouquets rooted in vases.
Thus, there was also a rich floral fragrance.
The site was filled with handso male servants dressed in black and white uniforms, their large arms tied with wide, firm belts. Their arms were covered in white cloths, palms supporting silver trays.
Gracefully moving around with a smile decorating their faces, they looked very elegant.
After ten minutes, everyone was seated.
mbers from the sa departnt were mostly seated on the sa side.
To the left, White bird, the Heart “J,” and Red tooth, the Club “J”. As the mbers of the Assassination Departnt, they were dressed in black and white, exuding an aura of sharp seriousness.
To the right, the Heart “Q” Purple, Club “Q” Scholar, and Diamond “Q” Rich young man. From the front to the back were a beautiful young girl dressed in a light purple long dress, looking much younger than her actual age but possessing an elegant deanor. A middle-aged man resembling a teacher with his gold-rimd glasses. And lastly, a flashy young man wearing a floral suit, stepping into wine-red leather shoes, and donning four rings.
Six were expected, but only five had arrived.
“It’s really surprising how swift the plan against the Sand Dust Organization has been, with not even half a day taken. What a rare smooth sail.”
The Scholar shook his head and sighed.
“The Sand Dust Organization has lost nurous masters this ti, and I heard that the eighth-ranked assassin was even killed by the Wind Elephant. Incredible!”
The flashy young man’s face didn’t show any frivolous expression. Instead, he earnestly praised, “When Wind Elephant arrives, we need to ask him about the details. I really enjoy hearing thrilling experiences… ”
“The task this ti was completed exceptionally smoothly. I’d say we’ve already won half the battle against the Sand Dust Organization. The two leaders, the Big King and the Little King, must be feeling quite pleased. After all, it’s rare to have soone as skilled as Wind Elephant at their disposal… ”
Purple poured praises in between sips of her drink, her lips an exceptional gloss.
“Haha, yes indeed…” White bird raised his glass in agreent. Turning his head, he quietly told Red tooth, “It’s already past eight, Wind Elephant still hasn’t co. Why don’t you use going to the toilet as an excuse and go fetch him… ”
Creak, the door to the dining room was slowly pushed open.
A tall and slender figure draped in the faint moonlight stepped into the hall. As if he had brought along a cloud of dark fog that blocked the incoming light, his entrance carried an eerie presence.
“I apologize for being late, had so things to deal with…”
A mysterious smile plated his handso face.
“As compensation, I present each of you with a gift.”
“I believe you will like them…”
