Chapter 549: 301 Punch (4000) at First eting _1

“Let’s hurry, the entrance to the fourth level is not far ahead…”

The Scales Monster spoke in a familiar tone. It was about to get within a ter of Casio, its ugly appearance more distinct than ever.

A humanoid creature, its body adorned with blue scales of a fish or perhaps, a snake. Its eyes, no bigger than green peas, squeezed together and giving off a greedy gleam, oddly resembled nostrils more than eyes.

From the joints on its back, a series of tentacles grew out like tree roots, hanging low and drooping, giving off a feeling of sliminess, while a stench of decay hit the nostrils.

These two ugly creatures had grown right into Casio’s field of vision, like a collection of all the elents he despised.

Rotten, stinky, greasy, slippery…

Tentacles, scales, fish, snakes…

“God, that’s disgusting!” Casio couldn’t hold back anymore, looking at the Scales Monster still squeezing itself beside him.

Bang!

The tunnel wall suddenly shattered as a heavily muscled hand suddenly grabbed a head and fiercely hit it against the rock.

Its strength was both fierce and ruthless.

It was decisive, with no hesitation.

The Scales Monster had a surprisingly hard head. Even when hit with a great force, it only slightly deford, but did not explode on the spot. Its limbs moved frantically, as if it still had room to resist.

The tentacles on its back began to flutter like a snake.

Casio’s temple throbbed, and he quickly made up his mind.

His palm tightened, his veins bulged. His right hand was like a mallet, the hard muscles on it even more exceptionally swollen. Its fingers were like an eagle claw, lifting and pressing, lifting and pressing… In a short ti, repeatedly using a great force to press the Scales Monster’s head into the wall!

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!

The tunnel was filled with rumbling noises, dust billowing.

The wall, due to the repeated hits in the sa spot, now had a deeply recessed mould of a face.

Crack!

Its body broke, the Scales Monster’s tough neck collapsed after repeatedly being swung around, its headless body fell to the ground. Its head fitted perfectly into the recess in the wall.

Casio sucked in a breath, his right palm still retaining the disgusting slippery sensation of earlier. He swung his hand vigorously, his fist making a hole the size of a head in the wall, the location mirroring the pit of the head.

He turned slightly and the second impostor of Sheng Feinan, another Scales Monster, was frantically running away. The tentacles at its back were swinging wildly, like a hilarious octopus fleeing in panic. Three seconds had passed.

Bang-

The second head arrived at where it belonged.

Since it was forcibly pressed into the wall, it fitted perfectly. It looked as though it grew from the tunnel.

“These two creatures were not very strong, just had unbelievably hard bones and skeletons. Feng Liusi and Sheng Feinan could have dealt with them on their own,” Casio quickly summarized the battle, pondering on the actions of the two Scales Monsters.

“An illusion?”

A mont ago, the Scales Monster had unmistakably disguised itself as Sheng Feinan and Feng Liusi, even making the sa sounds. Even the aura Casio sensed was imitated flawlessly.

The Wisdom Rune on his chest lit up at that mont, probably to help him shield himself from part of the illusions. That’s how Casio was able to see the disgusting, real form of these two impostors at a glance.

He took a breath… The surrounding fog flowed as if it was alive.

Casio waved his hand casually, feeling that sothing was strange. But his demon-transford lungs did not react when he breathed in the air, indicating that this fog did not contain any poisonous or hallucinogenic substances.

Was its only function to obscure vision?

After a brief rest, he took out the Devil’s Book from his chest. His eyes quickly scanned the Ullopolos Area on the third level of the Akaba Ruins, locating a crucial path that must be crossed.

Then, Casio didn’t hesitate and turned around, disappearing into the fog.

About a dozen minutes later, sowhere in the Ullopolos Area.

The grey fog was churning, making the entire tunnel extrely dim. Only the white unquenchable fla that spread on the ceiling was silently burning.

A blond-haired figure stood at an intersection, holding a Map in his hand, seemingly studying sothing. Not far from that, two steady footsteps were getting closer from a tunnel.

Click, click…Click, click…

The people showed up, and it turned out to be Feng Liusi and Sheng Feinan.

“Casio!”

Both seed pleasantly surprised but there was a touch of doubt and suspicion in their eyes. They both stopped, and Feng Liusi said, “Five minutes ago, we also ran into a ‘Casio’. However, that turned out to be a bizarre illusion! Its true form was a humanoid creature covered in scales and tentacles. It was formidable in battle, and after death, it dissipated into black smoke after a while.”

“So?”

About a dozen ters away, the blond-haired youth raised his head and asked with a smile.

“So you should stay away from us for a while. No one knows if you are an illusion created by those humanoid creatures.”

The figure of Sheng Feinan abruptly spoke up.

“Ha, ha, ha…You think I am an illusion, and I think you two are illusions,” the blond youth suddenly chuckled in a low voice, his eyes boring into them, “In fact, I have a better way to verify authenticity. If you can survive my fist, then you must be real, otherwise you are fake…”

“I think this thod works fine, it’s simple and efficient…”

The figure of the youth suddenly vanished. While uttering the word ‘simple’, he was still at his original location, but by the ti he said ‘efficient’, he had already appeared behind Feng Liusi like a ghost. His arms were spread like he was about to do so stretching exercises, fiercely stretched out to his sides.
