Chapter 343: 206 Training with Dark Creatures (4000)_1

“Don’t act rashly. The North Flow Country branch doesn’t have a reserve of Holy Purification Water. If you use two powers at the sa ti, do you want to experience the pain of your physical body being rebounded by force for the second ti?”

A neatly dressed old man in a full black suit and white hair walked over. Despite his old age and slow pace, an elegant aura still lingered around him.

His beard was trimd neatly, and each strand of hair was slicked back. A silver watch chain hung in the pocket on his chest.

Casio and Amos both turned their heads to look at the old man.

Amos opened his mouth as if trying to argue with sothing, but in the end, he flicked his fingers and retrieved more than two hundred tallic threads radiating outside back into his hands.

anwhile, Casio was sizing up the old man with squinted eyes.

No threatening aura at all, just an ordinary human. An old man in his seventies who walked slowly.

Was this the rhythm of when a young man loses, an old man enters the fray?

Seeing that Casio kept sizing him up, the old man couldn’t help but smile and said, “No need to look any further, Mr. Li Wei, I am just an ordinary human with no combat power.”

“The most powerful force in the Black chanism of the entire North Flow Country right now is this young man, Amos. He is, likewise, the Black chanism’s growing third trump card.” The old man continued to approach the two without showing any fear that Casio might suddenly attack.

“Let

introduce myself, Franz West.”

The old man made a gentlemanly gesture: “I was once the steward of Black chanism of the Federation’s Special Agency, Section Thirteen, and now, I serve as the operational assistant to Amos, the current steward of the Black chanism…”

“Black chanism?”

Casio slightly swiveled his hand. The skin, which originally had slight traces of blood, beca fair again, leaving no sign of injury.

“Yes.” Old Man Franz got closer to Casio, only two or three ters away: “I think we can calm down and have a good talk, just

and you.” Amos, who wanted to say sothing with a frown, was silenced by the gaze of Old Man Franz.

It seed that the relationship between these two stewards of the Black chanism was unusual.

At least, it wasn’t rely a professional connection.

Soon, Casio and Franz got into a black sedan outside the park. anwhile, Amos was patrolling around with a gloomy face, wiping his nosebleed as he went.

Casio, seated comfortably in the spacious back seat of the car, chatted for more than half an hour. This allowed him to clarify so things that had happened before.

Amos discovered Casio via the Shadow Organization, capturing several assassins and gaining so understanding of the situation. Initially, he didn’t have any intentions of attacking when he t Casio, but the reaction of the fragnts led him to mistake Casio as a core mber of a certain organization, which triggered their fight.

Additionally, they also discussed the Black chanism.

The Federation’s Special Agency, Section Thirteen, or the Black chanism, was not originally part of the Agency, which only had twelve sections. However, twenty years ago, a major serial tragedy occurred in the capital city, Florence, during a holiday period. With high levels of congestion, the incident resulted in nurous deaths.

There were at least a hundred fatalities, and hundreds more went missing.

And the culprit behind this event was dark creatures.

Thus, the Hong Li Federation resolutely decided to establish an organization capable of resisting and suppressing these dark creatures. Given that this institution was built upon the abundant intelligence of the Agency, it was deed the thirteenth section. In reality, the two operated independently, with the only connection being that the Black chanism had access to the Agency’s intelligence.

Following the establishnt of the Black chanism, the Hong Li Federation—a giant country with a prominent secular society presence—was able to mobilize nurous unimaginable resources. Many experts who possessed special powers and were initially hidden among the people joined the Black chanism.

Even the Federation’s flagship technologies were used, such as biochemical humans and rumored transford humans.

Most of the experints failed, but so were successful.

As the Black chanism rapidly assembled its combat forces, supernatural organizations across the Federation beca much more restrained, so even joining the Black chanism and becoming part of its forces.

For instance, the rcury Hunters, who had been entangled with the Blood Clan for generations.

Of course, many more forces, both good and bad, were lurking in the shadows. Those that interacted with the Black chanism, an official entity, were just a fraction of the total. Others were observing from the sidelines. The establishnt of the Black chanism was to curb the rampant actions of the dark creatures and to monitor dangerous supernatural organizations.

In the nearly twenty years since its establishnt, the Black chanism had achieved remarkable results. Bloodbaths caused by dark creatures within the Federation dropped by at least sixty percent, and many potentially dangerous supernatural organizations that posed threats to human societal order were subdued and educated.

This is not to say that the Black chanism was the most potent supernatural organization. It had the backing of the Federation, which provided its top-tier support in terms of intelligence resources and transportation, even calling in the military for land sweeping and artillery support on occasion.

Of course, such situations were extrely rare. They usually occurred when situations were spiraling out of control and a threat was about to descend upon many humans. That’s when the organized military would be deployed.

In twenty years, there were only three such occasions.

Two were related to dark creatures, while the last one involved a particular organization. After that incident, this organization was listed by the Black chanism as an extrely dangerous supernatural organization, ranking first among the top ten dangerous organizations and the only one rated as ‘S-class’.
