Chapter 319: The Feeling of Power That Returns (5600) _1

White dicinal paste.

He felt it most urgent to first repair this frayed and broken body. From yesterday’s sparring battle in the Ringing Water Road, Casio had already felt the impact of his battered body on his boxing realm, which could probably only exhibit about 50% of its original strength. Even though he could still defeat Simon, the two sparred for quite a while before Simon was defeated.

That is to say, both were at the sa fighting level.

Casio was slightly stronger.

He opened a bottle of the white dicinal paste in the brilliant sunlight streaming in from the window. Inside was an off-white, sticky, yoghurt-like paste. However, this paste was slightly more viscous and had a faint fragrance of mint.

He wondered if it contained so kind of mint-like plant.

This paste was not ant to be applied but eaten directly.

The head of the Ringing Water Martial Art School had precisely instructed that martial artists who had not broken their human limit could only eat a teaspoon at a ti, and those who had could eat up to a third of a bottle.

Following these guidelines, Casio imdiately scooped out so paste and swallowed it.

Surprisingly, the white dicinal paste tasted silky-smooth and not at all unpalatable. The cooling sensation left a refreshing minty aftertaste in his mouth, and the remaining paste was sweet.

He stood and waited for three minutes.

Casio suddenly felt a chill in his chest, as though a cool stream of air was slowly secreting from within, quickly spreading out from his internal organs, mostly through his muscles and blood vessels.

The spread of this cool air was slow, yet it seed determined to cover his entire body. Casio felt the dicine taking effect, so he quickly plunged into the barrel he was standing in.

The warm water, not hot enough to burn, enveloped his body.

He imdiately felt an icy-hot sensation.

The outer layer of skin felt the hot water, while the inside felt the chill from the slowly spreading air. He felt hot one mont and cold the next. Ti passed in seconds.

Suddenly, Casio felt a pain within, but it didn’t last. The pain quickly transford into comfort, much like using an iron rod to clear a blockage.

This seed to be the white dicinal paste healing his internal wounds.

This sequence of pain and relief repeated several tis.

This indicated that Li Wei had seven or eight persistent injuries.

About half an hour later, the hot water gradually cooled into lukewarm water.

The pristine water was now tinged with faint red, and so solid black substance floated on the surface. It was dirty blood expelled from Casio’s pores when they opened up.

With a splashing sound…

He stood up from the barrel and looked at his body.

It was still as shrivelled as before, covered in nurous scars, much like an extrely unappetizing piece of rib. However, his muscles were no longer pale but displayed a faint red signifying so vitality. Casio suddenly felt much lighter.

Stepping out of the tub, he casually perford a set of boxing movents.

The movents were smoother, and his joints more flexible.

There was no doubt that the white dicinal paste was healing the old wounds on Li Wei’s body, but whether or not it could restore his life potential remained questionable. He might need to consu it several tis more for the effect to show.

Casio took a deep breath.

His eyes rested again on another bottle lying on the table.

No point talking about it; he had to strike while the iron was hot.

He continued with the Black Valley pills.

Unlike the White dicinal paste, there were only five Black Valley pills.

The headmaster of Ringing Water Martial Art School, the old man, had said that the Black Valley pills could be consud directly at half-hour intervals.

The thing to note was that the effectiveness of these pills waned significantly after the first use.

With the pill the size of his fingertip in his hand, Casio pondered in silence.

Li Wei’s original talent and bone structure were deed above average. But after exhausting his life potential, his skills and abilities began to falter, hanging on to middle to high standards at best.

It was the kind that would slump after another burst of impact.

Casio was worried about whether the five Black Valley pills could bring his talent to a higher grade. He wouldn’t expect it to grow beyond average or exceptionally high, but it would be a fortunate turn if his skills beca a tad better.

After all, the headmaster of the Ringing Water Martial Art School had warned him.

The best ti to enhance one’s potential talent with secret dicine is during adolescence. Once one reaches adulthood, improvent is hard. While Black Valley Pill is the most severe of all potential improving secret dicines, it also has the most minimal effect.

“I hope it works…”

Casio murmured to himself.

Following that, he swallowed the Black Valley pill in his hand.

The Black Valley pill had no distinctive taste.

Just as he swallowed it, Casio walked towards the middle of the wood bucket.

Before he had ti to step in, a burning sensation traveled down from his throat through his oesophagus and into his stomach. Imdiately, his stomach felt like a furnace; the intense dicinal power filled his gut, covering his stomach at an incredible speed.

He quickly subrged himself in the bucket full of ice.

Since so ti had gone by, the ice in the barrel had lted, leaving the water cold, and his skin’s hair stood erect upon contact.

But this chilling sensation lasted only for a few minutes.

The heat wave inside Casio was getting broader, slowly but powerfully sweeping his entire body, wildly ricocheting within his flesh.

His skin gradually turned reddish, his blood accelerating within his blood vessels. The heat radiating from his skin was continually carried away by the ice cubes. In the wooden tub, the proportion of water was slowly rising.
