Chapter 291: 184 Brain pad wave (5000)_2

Casio waited for White Bird to sit again before he asked.

“Yes, the latest news from the Intelligence Departnt a week ago. So experts from the Sand Dust Organization have managed to grasp the incredible power of instant Burst. The characteristics are exactly as you just described…”

White Bird pieced it together naturally, guessing, “The number fifteen from the Sand Dust Organization we encountered earlier possesses this kind of ability?”

Casio nodded, “I just tested it out. In Burst State, power, speed, defense, and reaction ti are at least twice as high. This isn’t as simple as multiplication by two. This transformation induced a qualitative change. Perhaps it would have taken three or four gunn to take down number fifteen previously, but in Burst State, I’m afraid not even thirty or forty well-trained gunn could take him out.”

White Bird’s expression grew serious. He felt it necessary to thoroughly interrogate the two captured leadership figures from the Sand Dust Organization.

Hopefully, they could extract so valuable intelligence from them.

After all, this was the first ti they had ever captured a person within the top twenty ranking mbers of the Sand Dust Organization even after all their clashes with each other.

The conversation continued, and the eting gradually got on track.

As usual, six poker cards were placed on the wooden table. No need to say for the folks from the Assassination Departnt.

The rest comprised three representatives sent from the Antiques Departnt.

A girl in a dress, a queen of hearts card, colored purple.

A middle-aged man with gold-rimd glasses, a queen of clubs card, denoting a scholar.

A young man dressed like a playboy, a queen of diamonds card, indicating a “Young Wealthy Man”.

The card positions of the high-level mbers were fixed, while the nicknas were flexible. New mbers joining would naturally have new nicknas.

“Cough cough.” White Bird coughed twice.

He was still the host of the eting this ti.

“Let’s get straight to the point. In the last eting, I ntioned that the Intelligence Departnt was trying to locate the Sand Dust Organization’s antiques transit warehouse. Now, we have detailed information about it.”

White Bird continued, “The location is still in the northern part of Black Sand City in North Flow Country, but not within the city, rather in the suburbs. It’s an abandoned village called Mansa Village.”

“There is also an abandoned Mansa Church for worship. The specific location of Mansa Village is about eight or nine kiloters in the suburb north of Black Sand City, not far from the Mi River, and quite close to Lornatack Forest.”

White Bird distributed maps to everyone, on which was a simple hand-drawn sketch, clearly showing the specific location.

It was in the upper diagonal direction of Black Sand City, with the entire Mansa Village situated in the angle between the Mi River and Lornatack Forest.

“As you can all see, this place is ideal for a hidden antiques transit warehouse. Since it’s right next to a rarely visited forest and the Mi River which facilitates water transport, the Sand Dust Organization can utilize the river for transport. The Mi River runs through three counties.”

White Bird made a simple analysis, and then handed out another map to everyone. This one was a transport route map with Mansa Village as the center, covering the two counties entirely.

The key was the waterway. The Mi River was easily accessible. Even though so parts of the river were unfit for passage, the rest were convenient enough. Its effect outweighed that of land transportation by far.

“The Intelligence Organization has been very diligent. They’ve thoroughly investigated Mansa Village and the nearby villages. Here, take a detailed look.” White Bird again retrieved a stack of white files, putting a dozen or so in front of each person.

Casio casually flipped through. The introduction was about Mansa Village, which seed no different from a regular village. However, there was sothing interesting in the content.

Mansa Village, a very ancient village. It existed even before the establishnt of the Hong Li Federation, during the Imperial Period.

The villagers led conservative, self-sufficient lives.

The interesting thing was, this thousand-people village had an ancient tradition. They worshipped a natural deity called “Great Spirit”, even having the existence of priests. The young n in the village would hunt wild animals for sacrificial ceremonies.

Later, The Church established a place of worship there. The implications are obvious, considering that the Great Spirit is a heresy outside of the church’s god.

Therefore, several bloody conflicts had occurred in Mansa Village in the past.

After official clampdowns, the turmoil subsided.

But twenty years ago, a strange tragedy occurred in Mansa Village. Personnels of the Mansa Church frequently disappeared at night. Witnesses claid to have seen ghosts, suggesting that the ghosts took the church personnels away. Mansa Village villagers who worshipped the Great Spirit believed it was a punishnt from the Great Spirit to the Church personnels.

The Church, on the other hand, suspected it was retaliation from villagers of Mansa in disguise.

This led to another outbreak of a conflict.

Yet the disappearances did not stop. It wasn’t just Church personnels, even villagers of Mansa started to disappear.

Officials and the high-level mbers of The Church sent people over to investigate the truth, but nothing ca of it. As more people disappeared, the villagers of Mansa had no choice but to move out.

The Mansa Church also fell into disuse.

“The Sand Dust Organization is really bold, setting up an antiques transit warehouse in such a spooky place. No wonder it’s hard to detect.” said the guy whose code na was “Young Wealthy Man” after he finished reading.

“Let’s not forget, they have things similar to Biochemical Humans. Bullets can’t kill them, why would they fear elusive ghosts?” Red-Tooth expressed, turning his head slowly with a somber expression on his face.
