Chapter 243: 165 Tis have changed 6000 (seeking more reading)_2
From afar, the sll of a strong, putrid odor could be detected.
“Black Rain Villa has indeed been prepared for a while…”
Hadi narrowed his eyes, catching sight of the closest flesh tumor. The outer skin layer was incredibly thin, underneath which lay an embryonic creature that appeared humanoid and yet like a wild beast.
Sharp claws and tusks were growing and maturing rapidly.
It seed like at any mont the beast would pierce through the flesh tumor and erupt outwards, waging a battle of life and death with the assembled martial arts masters using its formidable physical body.
Whizz, a shadow swiftly arrived from the other end of Dawn Hospital. “We’re ready,” it called out to Xuanjin.
“If it’s ready, light the fuse.”
Xuanjin ordered. All the mbers of Assault Team Two quickly retreated to a safe distance, looking on from nearly a hundred ters away.
Surrounding the hospital was a heap of explosives.
With a hiss, the fla was lit, and the person who set it off started running.
Several seconds later…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several powerful explosions overlapping one another. A huge red fla rose and expanded rapidly, exploding like a sphere. The intense heat and fearso force of the explosion instantly struck the wall of Dawn Hospital, the blood-red creeper, and the enormous flesh tumor.
Roaring and yelling filled the air!
The flesh tumor was blasted into pieces in an instant, out of which ca underdeveloped, deford monsters. They exhibited both human and beast characteristics – tusks, large mouths, and towering heights nearing three ters. Their crimson fur stuck to their bodies, drenched in blood.
Struggling amidst the flas, they squird forward on the ground. The explosion had blown off the lower halves of their bodies, leaving the upper halves drenched with slick blood. Their life force was extraordinarily tenacious. They might’ve been able to crawl out of the fiery hell if not for the layer of fuel that covered the ground around the hospital.
As the monsters wriggled across the ground, their bodies beca covered in fuel and continued to burn even after escaping the flas. Their hardy muscles began to shrivel and warp while sizzling sounds filled the air and charred black marks blanketed their entire bodies.
The stomach-churning scent of burning flesh wafted through the air.
The monsters lay motionless, their hideous heads hanging low. More than a dozen of them died gruesoly, wiped out in one single wave.
“Tis have changed… If it were the younger version of , there would be no alternative but to engage these things in hand-to-hand combat. Judging by their vitality, we would likely pay a hefty price,” Hadi remarked sowhat sentintally.
In the distance, Dawn Manor was hit by an explosion, and a large portion of its wall was damaged. A plu of black smoke wafted out from inside.
So, even peering through the holes in the wall didn’t reveal the situation inside. Suddenly, the cloud of thick smoke surged outward. Endless silhouettes of humanoid figures poured out, their appearances identical to the half-man, half-beast Markers.
However, these figures were pale of face and had lifeless eyes. Even their bodies bore the patchy repairs of damage. Black smoke drifted from their features as if they were corpses being manipulated by sothing.
These half-wolf, half-lion, half-bear beings promptly charged towards the frontlines of the assault team. The leading figure stood imposingly tall, reaching three ters when transford into its half-man, half-beast form.
Its hind legs, resembling the claws of a wolf, left deep pits in the ground with each step. Its upper body boasted three pairs of arms, that, when swung about, resembled a colossal spider.
“Bang!”
Hadi, without hesitation, struck out. His originally lean body swelled as if inflated, with vein-wrapped muscles bundling at his joints. He catapulted forward as if shot from a cannon with one push from his legs.
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Fists continuously fly out from the black phantom. Under the control of Hadi’s exquisite skill, each accelerating punch traveled a short distance but carried a massive force!
The six-ard werewolf before him madly swung its palms about, exploiting its superior number of limbs to form a cyclone of black shadows in front of its body. As the two blurry figures collided, a series of explosions echoed through the air, sounding like a long string of firecrackers going off.
The two figures wildly engaged in a dance of combat, each step they took left a pit in the ground as fragnts of rock exploded outward. Hadi, who possessed formidable skills, quickly exploited several openings in the defense of the six-ard werewolf and landed powerful blows with his fists. But the werewolf did not dodge – its body backed by sturdy muscles and strong regeneration capabilities.
The injuries inflicted by Hadi disappeared within monts.
Thud!
Hadi was sent flying backward. However, with a 360-degree spin in mid-air, he landed lightly beside Xuanjin.
“In terms of physique, it’s robust even among fighters. Its regeneration capability is strong, and it’s not weak in terms of power. However, it doesn’t have any sophisticated techniques, it’s only relying on instinct to fight.”
Hadi summarized his observations, looking towards Xuanjin, and suggested, “Let’s go shoulder to shoulder!”
Three powerful figures in the ruined garden collided. The youthful and vigorous Xuanjin took the lead in the attack while Hadi provided tactical support with his techniques. The six-ard werewolf was imdiately put on the back foot.
Roar!
A high-pitched roar echoed in the sky.
The werewolf withstood a powerful blow from each of them, having an arm broken in exchange, and swiftly charged towards the direction of the hospital.
As if to aid the werewolf, a plu of black fog surged out of Dawn Hospital, enveloping its entire body.
Roar! Another deafening roar echoed through the air.
The werewolf’s body rapidly expanded, growing from its original height of three ters to three and a half ters. Its already imposing figure looked even more like an iron tower now, with muscles bulging like rocks.
