Chapter 1190: 597 Hunt the Ultimate Dark Entity (4600)_3
Theo speculated.
And indeed, it was as he had guessed.
After the Magic Mirror Kara defeated the Fire Snake Sammi, the quarterfinals ended completely. The host went on stage to announce that the location of tomorrow’s youth final would be held at the Demon Idol Sect headquarters on the outskirts of East Sea City. After the competition, everyone could arrange to change their accommodations and head to the headquarters of the Demon Idol Sect. This was the first piece of news, and the other was about the ultimate reward that Theo had speculated about.
The people of the Magic Idol Clan would not take up any places.
This made many competitors breathe a sigh of relief.
They felt that this martial arts competition was a bit fairer now.
On the afternoon of October 4th, nearing dusk, various schools originally housed by the Puppet Sect began to arrive at the outskirts of East Sea City at the Demon Figure Gate headquarters.
After they had rested, they began to tour around the headquarters. The Magic Idol Clan did not stop them, as this was an opportunity to demonstrate their strength. After all, the plan was to develop the headquarters of the Magic Idol Clan into a sacred site of martial arts.
Being secretive and vague wasn’t a good approach.
Since no one hindered them, naturally, many secret martial artists from various schools started to look around. Inside the Magic Idol Clan, they saw many museum-like buildings with trophies showcased under glass covers.
One after another, eerie and twisted battle totems, blood that flowed and rolled but could never coalesce into human form, and a more than ten-ter-high Whitestone Statue that had been reassembled and pasted back together. Though these trophies were damaged, they emanated strong auras. Even through the protective covers, they made one’s skin crawl. They were obviously very dangerous things that the Magic Idol Clan had destroyed.
Leaving the Magic Idol Clan’s buildings, people saw one by one, colossal stone statues standing five to six ters tall. Broad and towering stone statues stood in different positions, seemingly connected together to form a massive pattern.
The visitors had originally thought these were just sculptures, but when soone couldn’t resist poking and digging at the stone, curious about the type of stone being used, the statue moved. It flung that person out like a little chick, sending them flying dozens of ters away and causing them to faint, only to wake up a good while later.
In that instant, everyone felt a dangerous aura. Even the elders and gate masters of so schools cast wary glances at the statues, finding them troubleso. However, these troubleso statues were scattered all around the Magic Idol Clan, forming a defensive circle protecting the headquarters.
The visitors suppressed their shock and then went to Heart of Lake Island, this ti led by disciples of the Puppet School. As they took the boat, the closer they got to Heart of Lake Island, the more they felt a magnetic force as if it were drawing them in. Whispers filled with magic power echoed faintly in their ears.
Thankfully, the influence was weak and not enough to drive one mad.
Upon reaching Heart of Lake Island, they quickly identified the sources of the magnetic force and magic power. On the island, in various directions, stood nurous formidable secret manuals. These manuals, though closed, caused bizarre changes within a one-ter radius around them, distorting the environnt. In so places, the air and ground were shattered, as if covered by a spider’s web. In other areas, the ground continuously sunk, with stone and mud decomposing into dust by so mysterious force. And so vibrated continuously, with shock waves rippling in circles, as if explosives were detonating.
In the center, a secret manual known as the Magic Heart Secret Book caused illusions to proliferate around it, creating a scene akin to a demonic prison. A blend of low murmurs from n and won overlapped, calling and screaming, tempting one to fall into the abyss.
After the visitors left, their minds echoed with the scenes from Heart of Lake Island and the various strange phenona around the secret martial art manuals. This was true secret martial arts—clearly resplendent, mysterious, and extraordinarily powerful. If one could cultivate even one of these manuals, the satisfaction would no doubt be imnse.
As the Federation martial arts competition escalated to an intense stage, at Immortal Island overseas, a mutation that had lasted for four days was entering its final phase. An enormous quantity of bait was thrown through the gateway between worlds; even the dark creatures scrambling for the bait beca part of the bait themselves. The escalating tantalizing aroma finally, at so mont, caught the attention of a big fish.
An Ultimate Dark Entity waded towards the shore with heavy steps.
